I purchased a used trailer that we did a virtual tour prior to visiting the store. Brian my sales agent was excellent in getting us the trailer we picked out online. The financing team also made purchasing the trailer effortless. The only issues I had was with the service department. The trailer had wiring issues preventing the battery from charging from the tow vehicle. More importantly, one of the propane tanks was leaking which is a huge safety concern. I would have appreciated full disclosure prior to purchasing the vehicle and would have been willing to pay out of pocket for a new tank. Maybe that should be included in their checklist. I think that a little leak detector on the gas fittings is definitely worth it. Other than that we're very happy with our travel trailer. For anyone thinking about purchasing a used RV, I would highly recommend a third party inspect it prior to purchase. Not just from Camping World but any dealer or individual.

UPDATE: Despite issues early on, the team at Camping World is working on making things right with our RV purchase. The GM called me personally on more than one occasion and is doing his best to make sure we're satisfied with our purchase of a brand new Salem Hemisphere 370BL. Its typical for an RV to have issues once they are on the road and ours is back at the shop to have it corrected. Hoping to get it back soon to enjoy the remainder of summer. Problems happen in all businesses, I'm a business owner and I know. What makes the difference is how diligent they are to correct the problem. I'm confident I'll get to upgrade the rating once all is finished.

We purchased an RV here today and had nothing but the BEST experience! Shannon was our sales associate and Doug was our finance guy. Both of them were amazing to work with and very helpful. The whole staff at this camping world were amazing! I highly recommend using them for any of your RV/camping needs. Oh, and free snow cones today! 😊 We will never go anywhere else!

My husband and I just went to Camping World and purchased our first travel trailer. What a wonderful experience! Our salesman Dylan was very knowledgeable and helped guide us to the perfect camper. Denny in financing made sure we understood all the options on how to protect our camper. And Ricky did a thorough job explaining how everything works during our walk-thru. Thanks again to Jake and his team at Camping World for making this such a great experience. We would highly recommend Camping World for anyone in the market for a new camper.

Amazing service and great communication from everyone. Our associate Matt was great and a delight to work with! Not pushy with warranties and add ons and didn't try to sell us anything out of our size or price range. Great service. Good selection. And pretty neat utilitarian store for camping and camper goods and parts.

We went to Camping World to see if a smaller travel trailer would be a good fit for us. We explained that although we were not ready to buy just yet, we needed to see some smaller sizes in person, as is it difficult to tell from pictures alone. Dave W was terrific. He listened to what we wanted and showed us everything we needed to see. He also gave us great tips about the buying process and camping in general. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he fully answered all of our questions. When we are ready to buy, we will definitely be going back to Camping World.

My husband and I stopped by Camping World on a whim today to get the feel for the layout of class A and B RVs . We were very fortunate to have Shannon show us around and give us a tour of multiple campers. She was very sweet and knowledgeable of all the campers she showed us. Time to make a decision on which one works best for us. Nice to know if we have anymore questions Shannon is just a phone call away.

Great experience start to finish from the salesman Dave to the general manager Jake and also Douglas in finance and also all of the guys in the service area including the forklift drivers moving the campers everyone was extremely helpful and made it a great experience. I had a small issue with my water heater the day after taking my new unit home brought it back the next day and was fixed on the spot I would highly recommend this place for purchase and I hope that this is seen by everyone and people are recognized for the great team effort thanks again camping world wentzville

Was in last week and worked with Terry F. Very knowledgeable about RVs. Taught me a lot about teardrop trailers. One of the other employees let me know he was their teardrop specialist. I was so excited to find out I can tow with my Prius! If you have limited towing ask for Terry!

Nice and welcoming team upon arrival. Sales person, Chris, was very informative and helpful with answering all questions I had. Not pushy at all and didn’t keep me longer than I wanted to stay, which is always a plus! I explained from get go I was just browsing and learning, and he understood entirely, unlike other sales type places I have been. When I am ready and know exactly what I want, will definitely consider them for my purchase.

Excellent customer service and sales. Found the RV that met our criteria and was treated with kindness and patience as we had tons of questions. They also walked us thru the store to make sure we had all the essentials. Thank you for a pleasant buying experience.

Wendy was fantastic. There wasn’t any pressure to purchase. Wendy helped find multiple campers in our budget, she even provided us information about each of the campers. She’s very knowledgeable, her customer service skills are second to none, and she’s friendly to all customers. I’d recommend Wendy to everyone!

Just had a great experience! If you ever need a sales guy that actually knows what he is doing, ask for Terry Fishbeck. He was able to narrow down and help me find exactly what I was looking for. Very knowledgeable! Outside of what he did for me, the all around experience with the rest of the store was amazing. 10/10 recommend!

Everyone at this camping world was friendly and laid back (not pushy). We drove all the way up from FL to buy a particular rig. They took incredible care of us and helped us along the way to purchasing our second travel trailer, a big upgrade for us. We are full timers, and they took the time to understand our situation and help us. We are very happy with our new home! Jason, Doug, Les, Greg, and everyone else on the team deserve recognition for their professionalism, courtesy, and customer service. We will be back, even if it is out of our way!

Always wanted to have a motorhome to travel. Well, I finally got it. Was thinking of 20 to 21 feet...HA try 29 and a 18 ft trailer behind for the car. All the people at Camping World were wonderful to deal with. Very supportive and encouraged me in my dream. We visited Camping World on a whim, while in the area. Our salesman Chris was super helpful. He took us right out to look at the units we wanted to see, in the cold and the dark, and allowed us to look at and discuss amongst ourselves the trailer layout. He was on hand to answer questions we had, but not intrusive. We ended up purchasing a unit, and Chris has been helpful through the whole process, and even after the sale he’s been great, helping get a couple things sorted out with service of the new trailer as well. Overall, very happy with our decision and helpfulness of the Camping World team.

Purchased brand new Camper on a Sunday and had delivered by Wednesday! Our salesman, Jeff, was knowledgeable and friendly. Dealership price was good, and having a nationwide network if we have issues is reassuring. Excellent experience! Everything was quick, simple and handled perfectly! Highly recommend!

REVIEW UPDATE: Jan 4, 2023 Shortly after writing the review, I was contacted by the finance manager, who took this issue into his hands. He was able to connect me with accounts payable and get my refund check processed right away. It wasn’t ideal waiting three months for a resolution, but happy they were able to wrap this up for me. A big thank you to Denny for taking this over and all of your hard work to get it resolved; I really appreciate everything you did! As a customer, I understand that things are moving a little slower these days, but communication is always the key to great customer service. Thank you all again! Don’t buy a warranty from Camping World. We bought a new travel trailer from them a few years ago and that process went okay. We’ve sold our camper since then and I called Camping World to cancel the warranty I purchased with them. I’ve been working with a Business Manager (Doug Santos-Herrera) trying to get the warranty refunded for almost three months now; initial contact with him was on October 4, 2022 and I created this review on December 29, 2022). He hasn’t provided any information or updates throughout the process and only responds when I email him over and over for an update. To date I still haven’t received the refund owed to me and I will never do business with Camping World again. It is a shame that one Business “Manager” can sour an entire experience with a company.

I was very pleased with the customer service of these employees. I had found a model travel trailer that we liked and this location had such a great price. They reached out same day after filling out the questionnaire online and scheduled a virtual call to do a walk through. We are half the country away in a different state but they were courteous, kind and extremely professional. We did go a different route as our local dealer was able to give us a lower price but I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership and their willingness to work with a family so far away. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I hope to make a trip out there at some time. Thanks guys!!!
