Nice big park on Cub Creek with a walking trail, playground, tennis and pickle ball courts and a small dog park. There are benches and picnic tables scattered throughout the park.

I've always loved this park my hole life. Walking a Creek, play ground its just grow into such a beautiful place Oct 18th we had my son's second birthday party there under the shelter I didn't ask but I'm pretty sure it a first come first serve situation there are no signs about it! There are 3 different parking lots an the bathrooms are on the side with the community garden an dog park. The play ground is in the middle with the pickle ball an tennis courts. If your wanting to do play ground or tennis you go to the middle parking lot the dog park lot is at the parking heading towards the court house the final parking lot closest to the big intersection and behind pepes tocos would be for those who wanna be force to walk all the way back to your car lol! We accidentally parked there an though we had to carry all the birthday stuff to the play ground it was not fun as we arrived at the shelter we realized there was a lot closer parking thats why I go into so much detail about parking. I hope my review is helpful! Also you must go to the entrance to the bike trails (behind dog park over a very little wooden bridge) just the walk in part, its like a movie, it's a clean grave road, perfectly straight all the way down, with hanging tree from each side this the most amazing place you totally forget your In the middle of Wilkesboro "Must see 10 stars!"

Cub Creek Park is a wonderful part of the Greenway system of walking trails in & around the Wilkesboros. The trail is a packed dirt trail. There are benches to rest on during your walk. There is also a dog park next to the trail we walk on. Any on the Greenway trails are great to get a good walk in. I greatly recommend trying out one of our wonderful trails. Get out & enjoy the outdoors!
