The best cheesesteak in Philly! Austin City Limits is the best, but you can’t go wrong with any item there. I’ve been there many times and ordered several different things but I literally liked everything I ordered.

The atmosphere at this place is so unexpected but so cool. Decor is all music based with vinyls and gig posters. They have a stage with instruments that can lead to a occasional impromptu jam seshes with Wednesday open mic night. BYOB and the food is really good. Çlassic Americana style steaks, wings etc. And veggie options. My wife is vegetarian and they made her an amazing Portobello mushroom cheese steak. We will definitely be coming back again.

Great place for a cheese steak meal. You can get fries, periogies, wings, hot dogs amd much more. The atmosphere is rocking and the staff are very welcoming. If your around Ambler, it's a great spot to eat. The owners seem dedicated and am hoping this place lasts. It's a cool restaurant for ambler and the food really is good. Check it out .

This place is a great addition to the neighborhood!! Good food and GREAT vibes!! Had the Santana High Steak and the Let's Polka Perogies. The chili and long hots compliment each other while the raw onions kick your tastebuds at the end. I will be trying the entire menu.

Delicious food and friendly staff keep us coming back for more. All of the featured cheese steaks are gourmet level, loaded with meat, and appeal to a wide variety of tastes. I highly recommend the French Quarter, it is a savory and decadent feast. The staff is always courteous and attentive, making you feel right at home. For dine-in or take out, this is a great place to eat.

I had the Italian roast pork with long hots, sharp provolone, & garlic spinach. Amazing! The best I've had in the Philly suburbs. The pork was so tender with a perfect blend of spices and a subtle rosemary flavor. My son had the chicken cheesesteak and pronounced it to be the best he's had in Ambler area. We had the 6" sandwiches and they were very filling - a fair deal at under $10 for huge servings. This place has a great vibe, with a small stage with lined-up guitars.

Beef cheesesteak was by far one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had! Mountain of meat, juicy, full of flavor and the hot pepper spread is a must!!! You won’t find a better steak in Philly or the surrounding area!

The restaurant that was in this building previously was one of my favorite burger places, but I'm glad that if the place was going to be replaced, it was replaced by High Steaks. Their beef cheese steaks are my personal favorite, but their menu also has homemade wings, sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads to choose from for a filling meal. The staff here are nice with any additional requests (ie mayo on the side, non seeded rolls, extra utensils, etc.). From what I have experienced, there hasn't been that long of a wait for the food. If you like old rock and roll music, tie-dye, or just laid back vibes, this is the place. There are vibrant but beautiful tie-dye banners decorating the restaurant and old records playing, which I appreciate. Definitely a spot I recommend checking out if you have the time :) Review by Sophia. @TastyBitesBySophia on instagram.

I decided try this place out since I work a lot in the city. I normally get a steak once in a while for lunch. Today we were out here doing work, and I decided stop in for lunch. I was disappointed in the steak. Roll was good, good amount of cheese. But for the price the steak the meat was bad quality. The steak was to chew which basically comes down to there using cheap meat.

Love at first sight and first bite. Also, shoutout to the owners and staff Missy, you rock! 🤟 Cheesesteak has nice flavor. I got one first visit with provolone and a side of onion rings. Rings come with nice dipping sauce. Taste great without, but if you like to dip, go for it. Second visit, Wednesday open mic night hosted by Logan, one of the owners. Fun, diverse crowd and all types of music. A very decent sound system and a variety of musical instruments. Guitars, basses, keys percussion, mics... in case you forgot to bring something. BTW, I ordered a grilled hot dog with cheese. It was amazing. After years of eating those boiled frankfurters at Costco, this was a real nice change. A 7 inch hot dog with cheese, grilled to perfection - I got white cheddar omg and curly fries. 🍟 Hit the spot! I'm hooked on High Steaks. You will be, too!

Tried it out for the first time yesterday. Ordered a cheesesteak with cooper sharp and it was absolutely incredible. Fresh roll, meat and loads of cooper sharp. Best cheesesteak I’ve had in a while! Will be going back to try more!

We visited High Stakes for the 1st time tonight. This is such a great place to get food in Ambler. The food is amazing, the cheese steaks are to die for and the hospitality is just perfect. You must try them out.

Look out Philly. Ambler is now home to the new King of Steaks. This place is nothing short of fantastic. You can get a 6 inch steak sandwich which is all I need. Of course 12” is available. I had an Austin City Cheesesteak and a Buffalo Springfield Chicken Steak. Obviously the place has a music theme. The employees make you feel very welcome and friendly. They host a open mike every Wednesday night. Don’t miss this gem next time your hungry.

I've lived in Ambler for over 5 years, this place, hands down, has the best cheese steaks in town. Very friendly staff, great music and awesome food. Have to try the waffle fries as well, they were absolutely delicious.

Great atmosphere and a great new addition to ambler. The food was great and had many options. I got the dry rub lemon peppers wings and they were cooked to perfection. I nearly got seconds. The staff was super friendly almost like a friend’s brother serving you, a real family homey vibe. Highly recommend giving High Steaks a shot you will not be disappointed and they have live music certain days of the week.

Good vibe and friendly staff. Small local steak place, looks like also has live music on weekends. We got the cheesesteak on a seeded roll which was nice. Also got the Buffalo chicken Springfield with blue cheese ranch sauce, the meatball parm again on a seeded roll. Also for sides got the mozzarella sticks and French fries. Looks like recently opened but good food and helpful staff.
