The TOOTIA Workshop is part of the BRITISH ART SHOW 9 and work with Caroline Walker. The Art Gallery has some beautiful artwork, A new Café GLAZE! A gifts shop! A lift! Nice and friendly place.

Interesting building, contains a broad range of artworks. Curious mixture of the old and new; found the British Artists show tricky to navigate as spread all over the place with no obvious route.

We really enjoyed visiting the Black Country Beats exhibition. This is a lovely venue and there were various ways to interact with the exhibits (audio, video and headphones). I particularly enjoyed the 90s room with the Ned's, Poppies and Wonder Stuff items.

Brilliant art gallery. It also has a restaurant on the ground floor. Free to visit. You can park your car at the nearby city council car park.

It was excellent, lots of interesting galleries, a nice shop and a very pleasant cafe with an interesting and varied menu. The cafe was nicely set out, it was bright and cheerful and easily accessible because it was on the ground floor. We particularly loved the teapots using "real" tea rather than teabags. We will definitely come again.

A lovely art centre, went to see the Black Country Beats, very informative member of staff who directed us to the exhibition hall. Brought back some great memories and there was plenty to see and pass away a few hours. Free entry and we parked above the main shopping centre in the town, quite reasonably priced.

For a free museum it's okay, I liked that there was a nice rang of items to observe but I felt the British Sign Language QR was done very lazy. There were only select displays that had a sign language interpretation. Half of the museum wasn't usable due to it being closed off for private events and school visits.

Wow lived most of my life in Wolves and had never been here before. Glad we did as it gives you the vibe of a central London gallery/museum albeit on a small scale. The inside is modern in contrast to it's more traditional exterior. There's a nice balance between old exhibits and more modern contemporary and digital exhibits.

Small art gallery in Wolverhampton City Centre. Several galleries inside with temporary and permanent exhibitions. Was glad to see the Maquette of King Kong when I arrived. Also the see-saw on the first floor. Spent most of my time in the Glaze café. A short distance from the railway station and terminus tram stops.

Lovely day today at Wolverhampton art gallery great for Lego fans as they have got a special exhibition on upstairs and activities at a small cost Lego exhibition on until early September called Fantasy Kingdom good for younger children and older kids alike! Ticket cost around £15 for 2 adults 2 children activity packs £2.00 each for younger children which have colouring, cutting and sticking activities it comes with a handy bag! To build a small Lego chest is extra cost for £4 each worth it for a nice treat, lovely helpful staff around building with a very reasonable cafe with sausage rolls samosa, baked potatoes and sandwiches all freshly made, they will even warm sausage rolls up if asked, hope this helps!

Brilliant gallery! We visited on a Sunday morning so it was super quiet. The staff are very friendly, exhibitions good and a lovely modern building. Family friendly with good baby changing facilities!

This gallery illustrates 'best practice' in a small collection. It is well-presented throughout and well worth a detour to visit, or indeed to be made a destination by those interested in painting. I would have made the journey to see the Gainsborough alone, but there is much else of interest. The Curators, and all who support this collection, are to be congratulated on their work. Entrance, admirably, is free. The chargeable wildlife photography exhibition is stunning so fork out, it's worth it!

Free entry (with optional donation point) I've been visiting this art gallery for over 18 years. It has a mix of traditional, modern to current exhibitions (that change often), also a whole space dedicated to childrens interactive creativity. They have a cafe & toilets They also have a lift to get to the different floors. One of my favorite small rooms was exhibiting local artists work small and large for sale.

Really friendly staff who were approachable and happy to answer my questions. The exhibits were interesting and not something I'd usually see, and of course you can't complain when there is no entry cost! Of course, there is also a really lovely gift shop which has a good selection for gifts as well as some fabulous art postcards too.

Excellent gallery with a mix of the old and new. Wonderful old entrance but with beautifully modern rooms. Modern art isn't normally for me but I appreciated the creatively designed displays. There is also a lovely cafe and shop.

My husband and I got married here a few days ago and we couldn’t be more happy with how the ceremony went. The team were fantastic at coordinating the event and making it super special, especially Michelle who we worked with when planning the day and on the day. She even helped me fan out my giant veil. The room we married in is full of the absolute best artwork and those photos from the ceremony are going to be legendary. Thank you all so so much for the best day of my life at our dream venue.

The gallery is not big but it was about the only place that attracted me and my husband in the town. I've enjoyed the ground floor pictures more than the ones on the top. The staff is lovely. Jorden and classical art both are present in the gallery. We spent about 45 minutes there and enjoyed it.

I must say,I was totally impressed with visiting the art gallery recently. After living here for decades,I have never been inside. I had a business meeting there,in their recreational area. Fully equipped with comfortable seating, and oh, their hot chocolate is totally exquisite. And their scones superb and tasty. After my meeting,I ventured into the many rooms and wondered why I had never visited before. I would definitely recommend this place😀😎👍

Brilliant gallery. Saw a great exhibition on the music of the Black Country, and visited the Pop Art collection. Lovely food in the cafe too

So. Been here before. Was okay. Came here again. Wasn't okay. Two stars are only because the Gallery liked the photo I took from outside. Prior to taking the photo, a security looking/maintenance man stopped me and put his hand out like he was begging for change. Apparently, he thought I'd stole a lip balm. About 90 seconds earlier, Iifted the lip balm which slipped out of the sleeve. I opened it as I didn't know what it was. I replaced it immediately. I advised the security/cleaner to be sure of what he was saying. He wasn't sure. I left and came back, giving him search options. He gave me the 'cavity search' look so I'm glad he declined. No apology. Will I come back? Of course I will. Most of the staff are nice. Food is decent and so is the art.

Had an excellent afternoon/evening at the Literature Festival. Listened to Robin Ince and Irvine Welsh talk. Will definitely go again next time too.

I’m not in Wolverhampton very often as the town centre is dwindling down and there aren’t too many shops here that I enjoy. Needless to say, I always try and make time to pop in the art gallery. A couple of rooms hardly change, but there are some very diverse displays rotating through the rest of the building. Great stuff. A little bit of a gift shop area and a cafe if you fancy those.

I hadn't been to W.ton Art gallery for over 20 years but went yesterday to visit the British Contemporary Art exhibition. It's now a fantastic space which I hope will attract many more touring exhibitions. The new cafe is bright and cheerful - a few teething problems I think, my soup was luke warm and tasteless, but it is VERY new, so I'm sure it'll be sorted soon.

British art show ongoing, Interesting artwork, intrigued by the lovely post card that was on sales. Staff were really helpful, I will go back to enjoy the artwork, I just breezed in and impatient to appreciate the work of art

So...there is an art group, once a month...3 pound a child and real artists are there to support. It is suitable for very young children too (babies) as there was a sensory room and building room that adjoined the art room. My little girls enjoyed making leaf prints and pottery. There is also a lovely younger children's section where they can write on the wall with chalk, draw and play with the play equipment. The cafe looks fabulous too...I'm going to make a day of it next time!
