I love the smell of freshly cut grass in the mornings and the sunshine after the rain. You can have both here; it’s a pleasant local walk on my park-life list of places to go and it’s free! Away from the mad circus on the other side of the gates you can gather your thoughts on a stress free walk. Perfect.

Well kept, large open spaces. Great for dog walker's and outdoor exercise. Park area suitable for small children.

Lovely park with a flat path round a big firld so you can walk or children can ride bikes. They have recently refurbished the play area which had a variety of slides, some swings, climbing equipment, a roundabout and some benches. In the summer, they have a water area. Only reason I would give it 4 stars is there are no open toilets which can be tricky with little ones.

Lovely local park, nice for walking the dog, plenty of trees and always nice to see the seasonal flowers. There's a small play area for the children, lots of field space for outdoor games, and a carpark.

Great park, great play ground for kids and a good skate park. Large open playing fields for all sports. Fair often returns throughout the year.

Good place to walk the dog but car park closes at 3 in the winter, not ideal.

Went for fireworks show, £ 8.50 entry, cheeky spunkers so went down side of the park and watched all display from there, and make sure you walk down to show, few local mutants trying to break through hedge but security delt with them, plesant 20 min display.

A well kept park. Good footpath around the perimeter with a fitness trail. Great play area for younger children that has a fence around it. Also contains a splash pad area that is turned on during the summer.

This is a great place to visit plenty of space to exercise your dogs and enjoy the walk around the outside of the green .there is an enclosed play area for the young children. And a skateboard area for the older children .the park has football pitches also rugby pitches. The only thing that let's the place down is the toilet block is closed.

I wish they had decent toilets at this park. Other than that it's great.

Good for a nice walk. Busy with loads of things in the summer for the kids. Playground for the kids keeps getting better. I drive here everyday to do my walk than the rubbish park by my house. Love the little forest-y areas on the edge of the park

Lovely open space to walk , for kids to play . A nice little park and splash zone (or though the splash zone could do with a jet wash .) Plenty of picnic benches , free parking . Gym exercises scattered around the park area .

Really good for dog walking. Played football here for years and it was just a field, but now there are wooded areas, good play areas, benches and bins, toilets and good parking. Well maintained as well.

Most of it's in a decent state of repair, given its location and the calibre of some of the folk that visit. The grassed areas can be left a right mess in football season after matches, there is usually dog poo somewhere along the paths and kids leaving smashed bottles around the place half the time though so pick your spots wisely. The little park is good for supervised kids, especially when the splash pad is on.

Nice big park but we went to the fair £2 for every ride, granddaughter's liked it, I did the ghost Train, don't waste your money. Nice day out, noticed a guy going around checking they were doing the health and safety checks so that was good, but the toilets were a mess.
