There are a good variety of shops here. Two charity shops. Iceland, Greggs, Costa Coffee, a Cafe, WH Smiths, Home Bargains. Plus a barbers, a discount shop. Two opticians, a bar, Pizza takeaway, an Ironmongers, a health food shop. A travel agent, Boots Chemist, Two clothing stores. You can get some good bargains here. I like the benches, they are great for a few minutes rest. The best time to come is before the children come out of school. There is a lift in Home Bargains, which probably takes you up to the car park. There are stairs and a lift up to the car park near Iceland. This is one of my favourite places to shop, partly because it can be quiet during the morning and early afternoons. Also because of the choice of shops. I think it is a much nicer place to visit than Walsall Town Centre. The shops are fairly close together. The benches are much nicer than the ones in Walsall. With the flower boxes and tubs, it looks very nice. Aldridge has won medals in the Britain In Bloom awards. Local residents always make a great effort with the floral display. I love the planters and tubs. Shows how much people in Aldridge care about their surroundings in the Village. The main road is also fairly quiet too. It is a very nice place to visit, feels more welcoming than Walsall. A good place to explore. I don't know if anyone has seen the two new huts (or cabins) that have been put up. One is in front of Costa Coffee, the other is by the stairs and lift to the car park. Have posted photos of the cabin by the stairs to the car park. It is going to be a shop selling mobile phones. I think the other cabin will sell takeaway food. Haven't taken any photos of their menu, will do soon and post them.

A good range of shops with a traffic free shopping area. It's a safe area where I feel comfortable amongst mostly local people.

Very limited offering but a few really good outlets. A gem is Neha Fashion clothing shop. Really nice people and good selection of reasonably priced goods. Several food outlets including Costa, and a corner cafe for reasonably priced meals. There is a variety of other restaurants offering a variety of ethnic and European menus.

This is how little shopping centres should be! Clean tidy and nice community! Plenty of places to eat and drink and shop

Aldridge shopping centre is ok for popping to for the odd bit, sadly like a lot of places similar there seems to be more charity shops than is actually necessary. The mobile phone repair kiosk is good though and Home Bargains is good for a 'bargain', the shop that has taken over the old market space is not very good, it looks tacky from the outside and gets worse as you go in (only been in twice, first entered because I'm nosey and wanted to see what they sold and the final time to show my friend how bad it was!).

Good place to shop with plenty of variety .. the only downside are the lifts to the rooftop carpark.. they have a habit of regularly breaking down? Ok if you can manage the stairs, but impossible if all the lifts are out at the same time and you have a trolley..

This is a typical small-town shopping centre, built when it was a fashionable thing to have. There is quite a good selection of shops particularly hairdressers, barbers, and beauty salons.

Part of a nice village centre. Shopping Centre clean and well maintained with greenery and a mix of individual shops and supermarkets.

A great range of shops all within a well presented and clean setting. Home bargains, whsmiths, costa, opticians, cafes, takeaways, charity shops, a characterful wetherspoons pub, through to specialist shops like a hifi retailers. Something for everyone. Free parking on high street and a multi story. An excellent small town shopping experience, with a great local feeling. Well worth a visit. 👍

Still busy enough to keep a useful range of shops, and there is always parking.

  • 2/5 Andrew M. 4 months ago on Google
All three lifts from the multi-storey are currently out- as of yesterday. Just bear in mind if you have poor mobility or use a trolley to get back to your car. I'm not sure what's happened with the Home Bargains one. It's been out for months, but never had a out of order notice on it. As if they just can't be bothered.

Aldridge shopping centre is The Place to shop, hang out, eat, dance or just go wild, pmsl Everyone's Xmas or birthday present sorted from "Home Bargains!!" Christmas dinner and all the trimmings on the cheap from "Iceland" !!!!! Don't forget to have bought the Xmas decorations from Home Bargains of course. Stuck for something to wear to the Ball or dining out tonight? There's charity shops aplenty at Aldridge Shopping Centre. Cash rich and need somewhere to Be Seen?? Costa coffee are happy to let you pose like "money means nothing" as they serve you with An Expensive coffee or cappuccino Hungry?? Greggs sausage rolls always satisfy. Have 2..... Need to work out? get fit? Or just need somewhere to go in those tight lycra yoga pants you always wear to Morrisons? There's an Anytime fitness gym for a monthly subscription...... Aldridge shopping centre has the lot. Forget the Bull Ring and Merry Hill, plan a day out to Aldridge, bring the kids, your cousin's, your parents or even someone you vaguely know, but we're stuck for somewhere to take them. See you soon

  • 3/5 Martin D. 2 years ago on Google
Ok for quick visit if you know what shops are there

  • 4/5 Andy R. 2 years ago on Google
Fair selection of shops, especially charity shops, hair dressers/barbers and restaurants. In the main run by pleasant staff. Only one supermarket and served only by busses at the moment. Apparently there is promise of there being a train station to be built. But no indication of any activity relating to that or any date for a service start. There is car parking, both free and charged and plenty of open space.

To be quite honest I never really new the place existed until I went there. The shopping centre was clean and tidy

  • 4/5 Mark P. 2 years ago on Google
Stopped here quickly to purchase a few items. It was clean and tidy and had everything that I had gone for including birthday cards and helium balloons. Parking was easy to find, but rather on the small side. Access isn't too bad, but can imagine it could be rather difficult during rush hour periods.

Most of the town's shops are located either on High Street, Anchor Road, or in the shopping area known as "The Parade". Well-known shops here include WH Smith, Iceland supermarket, Home Bargains, and Boots The Chemist. A purpose-built Safeway (UK) opened in 1992 and started operating as a Morrisons from 2004. B & M took over the former Focus DIY in Coppice Lane and opened its doors for the first time on 1 August 2015. One of the oldest traders in Aldridge is R.H.N. Riley Insurances on Anchor Rd, they have been trading since 1957 and in Aldridge since about 1970. Also in the area is the relatively newly opened Wetherspoons Public House - it has refurbished the former Avion cinema, latterly a bingo hall before the transition to pub. Many of the original features have been retained including the protected facade. Nice clean shopping centre with plenty of shops most of the shops have very friendly and helpful staff plenty of charity shops and a nice free car park above the shops with stairs and lift access.

Great shopping centre. We get lots of our groceries at Home Bargains, very well run shop with helpful staff and competitive prices. Would be nice to have a shoe shop in the precinct.

  • 3/5 VOIVI 1 year ago on Google
Not a patch on what it used to be. This shopping centre sadly appears to be dying a slow death, with pop up stores and discount shops taking over the town. It would be a great shame to see a once vibrant resource fail. Perhaps an increase in more independent stores would delay this, along with free parking. Beware, some of the local car parks are not cheap and many are controlled by parking companies and ANPR cameras.
