A delicious vegetarian/vegan friendly cute cafe in City Centre. Maybe a little pricey but excellent and a cozy place to chill.

WOW! 5 Stars from me! This was my first time trying this brilliant little cafe in Wolverhampton and I loved it. I ordered a mixed shawarma wrap, the meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the salad tasted fresh. The sauces inside complimented the meat incredibly well. I also ordered a Mocha, which was the best Mocha I have ever had anywhere. I will definitely be coming here again! May make it a weekly visit as a treat. Oh and the staff were lovely and kind ☺️

We forget to come here as often as we would like as it’s so tucked away. But the food is always amazing! Staff are lovely and it’s just an interesting little venue. Highly recommend. No photos of the food, sorry - it doesn’t stay on the plate long enough to photograph.

Possibly the best place to eat in Wolverhampton. Fresh, tasty and authentic dishes at reasonable prices. Set in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Specials are must try with vegan options always available!

A lovely hidden gem near Waterstones in Wolverhampton, down the little alley at the side. If you’re looking for healthy or fab food options, fresh and all hand made, you can’t do better in Wolverhampton. Lovely brownies too! Really friendly atmosphere and relaxed decor. This place has a lot of regulars, including me. My own current faves are their falafel wraps/Egyptian flatbread with falafel, fried potatoes and salad/ Mediterranean lamb with couscous/their potato skins and handmade burgers. Always good size portions and not expensive. Wolverhampton should really treasure this independent Mediterranean cafe… it’s run with a lot of love by someone who clearly cares about the food and service. Highly recommend. Work your way through the menu - enjoy!

Very rude chef, I am long time customer there and never been treated this way before. Today, I had to wait 40 minutes for my food, because of that went back to work late, as I have wasted all my lunch break waiting, I was late for my meeting and had to attend the meeting without having my lunch. I’m very disappointed as I have order my food and came back for collection after 30 minutes but still I had to wait for ages and I was treated badly by the chef. No apology!

Back at Nutmeg Monday 6th Nov, I wanted something hot! I ordered Shawarma with chicken. The lady asked if I wanted chilli, I said for sure, she asked "fancy extra?" I said yes please.. And thats exactly what I got and some more ! Good job I had the foresight to order a cold drink. The Shawarma was great, the chilli was great and as always the service was great. Once again many thanks from Dave. I did do a review on Tripadvisor, but don't think anyone saw it ? Hi, I visited Nutmeg (certainly not my first time) on Tuesday 24th October. I was late for appointments but needed a drink and bite to eat and made my way to Nutmeg hoping for something small but nice. I asked if I could have the lamb in a wrap but didn't have time for a whole one so asked if I could have half of one ? cheeky I know but I really wanted what I had the last time. The lady who served me said yes almost immediately. As simple as this may seem, to me its what fantastic customer service is. Served with all the sauces and a smile. What more can you ask for ? She was customer service personified. See you soon. Dave Finch

Everything about this place is amazing. Food is incredible, service top notch and the place itself very warm and inviting. It's a real pleasure to have this place in Wolverhampton and if you were to make one criticism it's that it's small and can be difficult to get a seat... If so, take out is available. But that really is picking faults for the sake of it. It's a gem of a place and deserves to be supported and to grow.

Just visited for the first time. The food was beautiful, reasonably priced and the staff lovely. Will visit again soon.

The food is really nice but the ordering system isn't very good. I ordered a wrap which someone else ended up taking leading to me ending up with something different to my order. Surely this could led to issues in regards to dietary requirements?

Absolutely delicious. Their home-made hommous alone should win awards. I felt as if I’d discovered a well-kept secret when I stumbled upon this lovely little cafe in one of Wolvo’s alleyways. Friendly service, a charming little sit-down area for eating in, but most of all: interesting and flavour-packed made to order food.

Always thought this was a nice place, food is ok but limited and on 2 occasions the owner has been quite rude talking ton people children. Perhaps the competition of similar cafes will help sort the attitude and poor service.

👍 Only had a milkshake as the price was alittle overwhelming and it was 60p for cream. However, it was utterly worth it because it was epic! I would love to return to try more of there stunning desserts!

👍👍 Very delicious meals, I ordered brisket hamburger and it was perfect (the bun, the meat and sous all were professionally prepared). Their food is considered Halal one. The staff were friendly and nice, the place was not overcrowded, and they respected the safety measures. There is no free parking...
