Never would I host an event here again. Kaidy did not deliver on set room layout, set start times, staff tried their best, it was simply an amateur show of no champagne flutes, no cold bottles of wine ready and poor communication through out the night.

This review is for the functions area: I would definitely not recommend this venue for an event. The events manager did not deliver on agreed set up and food was of poor quality. I anticipated that, given the relatively high cost, the event would reflect this in quality. It did not. Reaching out to the events manager for resolution was pointless. I have rarely given a 1 star review but this event venue is shameful in my opinion.

The place is very beautiful the view is absolutely awesome , but the staff are not accomodating and not friendly .

One of my favourites spots for a nice sunset dinner. On Wednesday is sailing night and you can buy a piece of Somerset and BBQ it yourself. It comes with a buffet offering chips, several sauces, two different salads and bread rolls.

Facilitated a full Saturday business event in the Athol Hobbs room. Great room for 10+ people. Very good communication from Mikayla & the events coordinator team throughout & well supported by staff on the day. Food was excellent & the bar service post was very efficient. The RFBYC is in a fantastic location & highly recommended.

Attended a wedding here, the staff were so friendly and lovely, the food was delicious and the views are lovely.

Attended a function here. The food and the view was amazing. The staff were exceptional and very polite. I will especially like to mention Nick who went over and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Thank you so much Nick, you are an amazing young man.
