😠 Staff were good. Food tastes ok. However, the food is not fresh and many of them was not cooked properly. Braised chicken was not cooked fully and some veggies tasted raw. My partner and I both felt sick after having the meal. People often mention plate, charge,

By far the worst quality food court Chinese food I have ever eaten . Would rather eat left over food from the food court tables that people leave behind than to order this ever again nothing taste like how it looks. Every thing is cheap and loaded with vegetables and over priced . My cats eat better food than this and I don't even like the cats that much . I hated this food so much I don't even want to try and ask for a refund because I'll get into an argument with them

I mean, I liked it... A lot of people complaining about having an extra charge, when there's clearly a sign that say, taking too much will have a surcharge..

Price is reasonable given that you can self serve and take as much as you want as long as it fits the plate size selected. Food is usually good especially the fried rice noodles (when it hasn't been sitting for too long), mixed vegetables, satay chicken, honey chicken and black bean beef. Sometimes the noodles taste a little off when they've been left sitting for too long but they constantly replenish and cook fresh portions - it's more so whether you're lucky enough to pop by when they just cooked their foods. Staff are friendly and efficient.

This restaurant has been in Carosel for a long time, and it's always been good quality food.

Went for a quick bite to eat whilst finishing our Christmas shopping...big mistake, huge! It was the absolute worst I have ever had. The s&s pork tasted like the actual pig sty, the honey chicken was ok, the rice noodles were cooked in water boiled a few times over & another chicken dish I had was tasteless. We really should've gone upstairs to eat as the prices are the same but you get a better meal. I will never ever go back there again.

Told we could split a large plate for 16.50. Went to pay and had to pay $25. Absolute joke. Poor service. Do not recommend

Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND. Call themself self serve , nahhh don’t think so . Came for a nice lunch on the 12th aug 2023 , picked my plate of things I want to eat , when I went to the check out was told to pay extras cause the cashier thinks I can’t eat it all ?!!. Extremely disappointed with the attitude and the service don’t think anyone should visit . ( if you have a big appetite ,definitely don’t recommend cause they will charge you extra just cause you eat more )

Love the food here and frequently visit here. As usual, went to get food for a large plate, was told if we take too much and any more we would be charged extra, and so we stopped filling our plate immediately and proceeded to make payment. Chinese auntie with mask on went back on her word and proceeded to charge us anyway. We don't mind paying for more as we love the food here, but since we are already prepared to pay more, she should not have advised us to stop taking immediately. It isnt nice and totally unprofessional. If you want to charge, at least let the customers finish taking their food and charge while making payment, NOT warning them DON take more. We didn't even overfill our plate, nothing was felling out of the plate, we even restricted not taking a couple of our favorite dishes because of her interruption. The whole point of Mandarin Duck is buffet style, letting customers have a sense of satisfaction via taking their desired dishes by themselves without much restriction. If the store couldnt afford this way of "buffet manner", or care less to be professional, they should just ask their staff to serve every customer by themselves. Such manner of treating customers will just deter them from returning and ruin the longevity of the business. No one seems to reply or care about the customers service, sincerely hope you guys can learn to provide much better and professional services in the future. Go ahead and charge but don't ruin the customers mood by warning them to stop taking more dishes if you guys cannot afford buffet style, better still, ask them to pour back the dishes if we don't want to be charged. Who in the right mind would do that when all the different dishes are already contaminated with different sauces? We rather pay $3 happily after taking everything that we want, then us being reprimanded by your staff, and still pay $3 regardless. Honestly, it's only $3 and it's ridiculous!

Got a quick lunch from there today, a couple hours later and I’m sick. Have eaten there multiple times but won’t be again after this.
