I took my grandson's 7+9, they were amazed at the old radios, transistors and tape recorders. Could not believe the radio toilet roll holder.

It was a fun day at this place with my partner. Even when the main museum was closed, there was a lot of plaques and information displays that kept us entertained and informed. And the view of the river from the vantage point was really nice.

Communication museum and cottage new exhibition starts 10 th December. Walk back in time and see how we developed the technology of communicating today. While at the site visit the war memorial read the text on the steel engraved plates. Be moved and sad for a lost generation . For fun climb up the stairs of the cable anchors and get a good view of the city. Bring a picnic lunch and your cold drinks sit under the 200 +years old gum tree and enjoy a relaxing day. Exhibition is free entry

Fascinating locality. Panoramic views from a lookout. BBQ pits, rest benches and immaculate lawns. Respectfully crafted ironworked War memorial. Plus unique 'road barrier artwork' with intricate carvings (bright orange but easily missed)

Stumbled upon the museum while exploring the park and noticing the related outdoor artwork last Sunday. The current exhibition, Freedom: Stories from Skate Culture WA, was really fascinating and gave a great insight into the origins of skateboarding and the resulting influence it had on Western Australia. The museum assistant was easy to talk to and made for a more memorable experience!

Have a very nice communication historical society display on at the moment, mounted with help from the Embroidery guild of WA. An added attraction to visit this absolute gem of a place right in the heart of the city of Melville at Booragoon.

A beautiful and quite park with lots of history. Picnic area with BBQ, public toilets, bench and lots of shades, and parking. Dog friendly too. Also there is a nice playground for kids. Everything you need to have a great family day.
