First
star
goes
to
big
open
spaces
which
was
one
of
the
draw
here.
Away
from
the
hustle
and
tight
spaces
in
other
Japanese
outlets,
this
is
one
of
my
go
to
Japanese
local
family
owned
restaurant.
Secondly,
our
food
came
served
in
ceramics
and
not
plastic
bowls
or
plates.
I
don't
like
hot
noodle
soups
served
in
plastic
bowls.
That's
another
star!
I
ordered
karage
miso
based
ramen
noodles.
The
crunch
of
the
black
wood
ear
fungus
and
bean
sprouts
complemented
the
flavour
of
the
soup.
The
half
egg
was
cooked
to
perfection,
with
the
yolk
gooey
and
egg
whites
soft
but
enough
to
hold
its
shape.
My
daughter
kept
dipping
into
my
bowl
and
slurped
the
most
of
the
miso
soup
up.
The
karage
was
lightly
flavoured
not
overly
salty
and
had
a
light
thin
crisp
batter
which
I
preferred
over
thick
batters.
👍
My
girl
ordered
Spicy
Chicken
Udon.
The
soup
was
a
not
what
she
imagined
it,
she
thought
it
was
more
a
powdered
chili
flake
added
to
a
base
soup.
However,
the
Udon
soup
dishes
all
come
with
a
balance
of
veggies
and
protein.
Many
outlets
don't
give
veggies
except
spring
onions.
Next
time,
no
chilli
Udon
for
her.
I
have
to
agree
with
everyone's
comments
before
that
the
portion
of
food
served
is
generous
and
value
for
money.
