Adventurous track starting point from Kalamunda to Albany, 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Bring your own hiking and camping stuff. I found sign boards at every turn, so I didn't need to look into my own map. Camp sites available. Beautiful wild flowers in Spring, you can see at the end of week in September. I enjoyed a day tracking. Love it.

Recently renovated, the Northern Terminus is the first or last thing many end-to-end walkers see on their overland walking adventure! Seats, shelter and ware are.all available, not to mention the shopping centre across the road!! Lots of cool cultural interpretation is in place, focusing on the six Noongar seasons. From the terminus you can access the Kalamunda town centre, additional local walk trails and local arts, crafts.and specially stores. Street parking can be found earby, or you can park in the shopping centre bays.

The Bibbulmun Track is WAs best kept secret. Northern Terminus is good because you can park and stock up at Coles before heading out. It is a great track stretching from Kalamunda to Albany, with varying levels of difficulty. Many choose to do day hikes, while others go out for a few days at a time and some even do end to end which takes around 5 - 6 weeks to complete. Great for soul searching and huts along the way where you can sleep overnight.

We did the Golden view Trek...it was beautiful amazing and a bit confusing, who care about confusion when you have great company... This trek is not a loop so be prepared to go one way and come back and expect to get a bit lost.. Beautiful site seeing as you progress and I am sure you will capture some amazing pics with your like minded crazy friends..

Fantastic holiday with children, perfect in spring and practically free. The Mundaring tavern is a good lunch stop.

Thanks to all the amazing members and volunteers for creating and maintaining the track. Easy to follow yellow triangles with some great steep challenges in the first few kms. I did the 16km section from Kalamunda to Mundaring Weir. Weather was terrible, some heavy rain but some clear spots. I was prepared with wet weather gear so it was fine. Note the first shelter (Hewett's Hill) isn't until about the 10km mark so stop before then for rest and food if need be. This is an overnight sleep or camp spot too if you want to make it over two days. 2 sets of wooden Queen size bunks under shelter. Picnic table inside and outside with fire pit (always check fire restrictions first!). There is always a drop toilet, tent area of you bring your own and untreated water available (to be boiled first) And for noting I was able to get an uber from the Weir back to my car in Kalamunda (weather too terrible to walk the 16kms back!) if anyone else needs this option.

Good place to start / end a hike. Excellent facilities nearby for when you stumble out of the bush and need a feed and/or drink

The first four or five kilometres of the Bibbulmun Track near the northern terminus are more hilly, through winter streams and spring wildflowers and with areas of wandoo trees. Makes for good physical activity and excellent views.

Northern Terminus is on the round about corner. Easy access, a great start and finish point. Or place to meet. There is a picnic table & water fountain. Shops over the road for a toilet stop, last minute supplies & coffee.

The start (or the end) of the Bibbulmun track. Plenty of shops for supplies in Kalamunda. The first section of the track can be a little steep with a bit of scree, but it is very well marked overall.

This portion is classed as moderate, which is a fair assessment. Essentially you're going down into the valley and then back up the other side, so be prepared for a tougher second half.

Great effort in making a special place to start or finish the walk. Probably of little significance to people who have no idea of the walk!

I have walked the bib track on many occasions with both young adventurous people and those who just want to experience the Bush. Be sure to register you and your group, where you are walking, when and how many in the group. This is controlled burning season and they have already started. So be very careful. It is a great thing to do, have fun and enjoy

Beautiful bush hike with the opportunity to see a lot of wildlife. Hikes can be as short or long, challenging or leisurely as you require. Fantastic panoramic views and a quiet retreat close to the city.

Start or finish point to one of the best hiking trails. Well maintained and clearly signed, do it in segments or take the time to hike it all, just plan your journey and support in advance :)

The Bibbulmun Track Foundation run this tour once a year. The basic idea is to introduce you to the track and the various environments the track passes through, and to show you the magic. From the start with Mt Cooke, to the challenging Bluff Knoll at the finish, the tour just gets better every day. The guides, Steve and Charmaine, provide excellent and informative commentary, ensure your safety, invigorating lolly and chocolate stops, and with a relaxed attitude, help you relax. Food is in plentiful supply, with breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners included, so much so, that despite the walking, you have to limit your intake. If you wanted to detour to see a sight, for example the Gloucester Tree at Pemberton, Steve and Charmaine willingly accommodate you, if at all possible. Some of the highlights for me, even though the whole tour was one big highlight are; the karri forest, meals at Donnelly River Village cooked by the volunteers Greg and Jenny, the Donnelly river cruise, Bluff Knoll, Steve’s infectious laugh, Charmaine’s chocolate stops, the amazing lunches, the company of your fellow walkers, and the Bibbulmun track. To get the best from the tour you need a good level of fitness with a 18k walk one day, and a 650 meter assent for Bluff Knoll. That said, some days have optional bits, and Steve and Charmaine go out of their way to ensure you enjoy the trip as much as possible, so you can stay on the bus, if you need a break.

The Northern Terminus is in a beautiful part of the Perth hills. It's the starting point of the Bibbulmun Track but also a really nice place to relax and have a family lunch. The track is easy to find and well presented. Lovely place.

(Translated by Google) Didn't find a tree covered with moss. Where is the 1000 km so big? The end point is a large stone summit Can bird's eye view from afar. In fact, there are still many trails to go around. The scope is too big. Let's go again next time.
