What a gem! Great coffee served in an earthenware cup with a side of sparkling water on a little wooden by lovely staff. I will be back!

No doubt the best coffee whole south of river area 💯 Staff are very kind and the store is really cool and you can sense the passion for coffee. I see some comments about long wait, and it is real on rush hour / early mornings. However there is an app for ordering online, so whenever I am in rush, I use the app and by the time I get there my coffee is ready.

Highly recommend the Home Espresso Machine course. This course gets you acquainted with your machine, learning all the tips and tricks you need to leave being able to produce a Barista quality cup of coffee at home. Loved it!

Great little coffee spot. Staff are a load of fun and always enjoy my morning coffee. Place is always packed and I can see why great coffee and love the donuts on a Saturday.

The wonderful ladies and lads here make every visit pleasurable. Now matter how busy they are they are committed to getting your order to you in a timely fashion. Your not just a number in a queue, your a valued customer, I love the banter and smiling faces. They make you feel like you have known them your whole life, its a great experience every time.

Best coffee in Perth and the crew are fantastic - it has been a tough couple of years in hospitality but Ren and Greg have navigated Grouch through choppy waters as smooth as possible, and always with a smile. The new order app through Bopple has been a winner, was even treated to drive-through service once by Sarah - I will continue to petition for a permanent car service! Vincenzo the corgi has been the highlight of 2022, hopefully he will get a formal store mascot role in 2023. For those lucky enough you might be able to catch Oslo and Remy enjoying a puppacino alongside the new garden tables out the front. Do yourself a favour and head down for a coffee by people who roast their own beans and genuinely care about coffee - you can taste the difference for yourself.

Great coffee and outdoor seatings. It's also dog friendly so that's a plus. Bought some freshly roasted beans too, yummy.

Oh my goodness. Their coffee is AMAZING. They roast it right there in the shop which is cool to watch. Service is quick even when they are smashed on a Saturday morning and do not miss the cinnamon scrolls that are a Saturday-only experience. You can also order online during your Pilates class for that swift click and collect service. They have a barista school right next door where you can learn the art of the perfect ‘spro and they sell everything you might need to take your skills to the next level in the coffee shop itself. I’m not an at-home coffee person but they have all the tech which I don’t understand, nevertheless I now want the pink goose-necked kettle for my kitchen! They also sell great merch such as t-shirts and gorgeous candles. I have bought some for myself and for gifts, especially the Zodiac sign candles which smell amazing (Virgo and Capricorn are my favourites) and have a crystal inside for extra good vibes as the candle burns. In short, if you are in the area, pop in and experience Grouch for yourself and you’ll see what I am on about. LOVE!

came here whilst waiting for my car service one morning, staff were so bright and cheery! I got a chilli hot chocolate which definitely had a significant spice kick but it was very delicious!! the chocolate cream on top made it divine, and served with sparkling water which I thought was very interesting. would be good to come back and try more drinks!

I'm rarely in the Melville area, but this is a hidden gem! Stumbled onto it looking for coffee and a place to do some work! Great vibe, Excellent coffee, raw balls, friendly staff and excellent place. Definitely worth a second visit when I'm back in the area. A must.

Excellent experience with Grouch & Co! Lovely, kind, knowledgeable staff that let us ask questions and watch them with special coffee preparations (nucleus brew and kalita, never seen those commercially!). We enjoyed the Chelba as the paragon nucleus brew (very good!) and the Espigao as the kalita. I really liked the Chelba - it tasted like blueberries. We purchased a carbonic macerated limited addition coffee and we're really looking forward to enjoying a cup at home!

As a regular the coffee here is always good but the staff can be hit and miss. Rather unfriendly and unhelpful staff member this time. Saw that they were bit busy so I asked for a glass to fill water ( pre covid times there were glasses and it was help yourself) Had my child with me and he needed a glass of water and was strangely rebuffed but the staff by a snappish attitude. Had a friend with me visiting from overseas They have a accent and wanted to order oat milk The same staff didn’t understand their accent apparently (which is fine) but the comment oh you MEANT OAT MILK ( tone) was bit unnecessary IMO

Hands down the best place for coffee and a great atmosphere. My husband and I found this place by chance and I've been making the 20 minute journey most days of the week for many months now. At Grouch, you'll not only have great coffee but if you sit in, you'll hear how the staff genuinely get along with one another - the communication is always warm and welcoming. I have also done a latte art class here which was fab. Oh, can't forget the mocha -- highly recommend - they use melted chocolate! I wish there were other Grouch's dotted around Perth.

I came in for a coffee this morning and was shocked by the manner in which the owner (assumed) was treating her staff... Informing them the 11 minute wait time for coffee was causing her children to not be able to go to a private school. I am of an elder age and recently now just shut a coffee shop myself due to may age, so i understand timed pressure but this was shocking!!!

Great spot to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat. One of the largest coffees I've had in a while 24oz 5 shots. Nice atmosphere and toilet on site. It was a great place to sit and wait for my bike to get serviced.

The barista served up tasty coffee this morning. Couldn't get enough of them flat whites. Was great seeing staff warmly greet regular customers (there seemed to be a good number of regulars) and was especially pleased to notice the use of free range milk. Glad to have made it there before their 3 week hiatus.

Great coffee. Poor customer care. Consists of yelling out a name to carpark of coffee fiends after 30 mins. . 8.45am Queue up frosty morning in droll industrial carpark just to reach the sole person taking orders.9am place order to be informed your solo coffee order will take another 15 minutes before available. Have put up with this for a while cos Covid staffing plea - ok, its tough for us all. However told wait is solo order guy alternating queue orders with text orders flooding in for multiple coffees, plus dine in orders . As is single barista/ single machine. Need to review processes and understand value of queuing persons to business. Value of customers time. Feel on show but ignored like puppy in window. Trying to do too much with too few leaves a bitter taste for the customer. Except coffee is great.
