I
attended
this
clinic
on
14
Feb
after
completing
an
initial
course
of
antivirals,
antibiotics
and
nerve
pain
relief
prescribed
to
me
on
January
8
after
presenting
to
Armadale
Health
Service
with
serious
negative
effects
following
my
COVID
booster
(Pfizer)
shot
on
January
1,
which
also
resulted
in
me
contracting
Shingles,
which
spread
rapidly
and
was
very
debilitating.
The
hospital
only
prescribed
my
a
single
course
of
medications
and
no
repeats,
which
I
queried
and
was
told
the
single
course
should
be
enough.
The
initial
course
of
medications
did
slow
the
spread
of
blisters
and
sores
to
and
extent,
but
was
still
evident
and
painful
by
the
time
the
course
had
been
finished,
hence
the
SRFP
visit
as
I
was
concerned
about
relapse.
Following
the
course,
I
was
still
symptomatic
and
in
quite
some
pain,
and
attended
SRFP
to
discuss
this
and
suggest
repeats
of
medications
to
continue
treatment
to
better
resolution,
but
was
told
it
was
not
necessary,
but
the
doctor
did
prescribe
repeats
of
the
nerve
pain
medication,
which
was
never
really
effective.
Now,
by
March
1,
the
original
scarring,
hypersensitivity
and
pain
of
the
original
outbreak
is
returning
rapidly,
with
pain
levels
increasing
and
it
does
not
seem
long
before
the
eruption
of
blisters
and
sores
will
happen
again.
I
now
have
to
return
to
SRFP
for
a
telephone
consult
(no
face
to
face
consult
available
for
some
reason)
and
plead
this
case
of
ongoing
medications
that
I
wanted
to
be
repeated
the
last
time
I
visited
on
14
February,
and
I
feel
I
would
be
much
better
now,
two
weeks
later,
if
the
original
medications
had
been
repeated
and
not
left
the
infection
half
treated,
only
to
reappear
once
again.
Why
did
nobody
listen
to
my
concerns,
either
at
hospital
or
SRFP?
I
do
not
know
if
a
single
course
of
antiviral,
antibiotics
and
never
pain
relief
is
sufficient
to
resolve
shingles
and
its
symptomatic
effects,
but
in
this
case,
just
a
month
after
prescription
with
no
repeats,
it
certainly
feels
and
looks
as
it
it
had
not
been
sufficient,
and
is
getting
worse
again.
Not
happy,
and
I
have
little
leave
left
to
stay
home
again
if
required,
as
out
of
sick
leave,
having
been
told
to
take
a
week
off
following
the
initial
hospital
presentation.
Not
happy.
