Got the sushi for 2 . It's more of the value of I were to get these on separate order. Service was standard and the waitress were friendly. The soup came with it. The seaweed and tofu were fairly abundant compare to other places. The sushi were nicely presented and not bad. It's in the 4 stars category for the price. The only 1 star I took off was the rice were a bit large for the sushi. Compare to a Japanese own one, the portion and vinegar were right one point. So the rice part in the sushi 🍣 can be improved. Otherwise it's good place And will come back.

I recently went to Bonsai with fiancee on Valentines Day. The selection of food was very good and the quantity was just right. The place did have a nice, quaint, and relaxing mood. Also, considering the insane prices in most restaurants in the area, it is nice to know that Bonsai's prices are affordable. Only minor issue is that we did have to wait for a food a little longer than normal with only an average crowd in the place. However, we eventually got our food and the expression the food being "worth the wait" definitely applies here.

A friend says it’s a great place Shrimp and tempura appetizer was tough and texture like had been frozen and not cooked enough. Alaska roll was not as good as I’ve had at any other Japanese restaurant. Disappointed. Service was good and quiet atmosphere.

Ordered a few rolls for me and my kids. There was a misunderstanding of the special instructions. When I called, the lady explained that even though they were very busy she would make sure that we got our correct order quickly. And she came through on her word. The sushi was fresh and delicious!
