We went here for their Christmas event. Pretty fun for kids and the train ride was unique and interesting. We especially like the lights in the forest. Overall, it was a good experience. NO Covid-19 restrictions in place. Only about 10% of people were wearing masks and zero social distancing!

Overall had an enjoyable evening! Weather was misty and cold and some of the activities were not running, but the train ride and tractor ride were both fun! Would be a great place to bring a family, especially with younger kids. The experience is comparable to a carnival. The price is reasonable for what you can expect to do. Looking forward to other events here, particularly Six Gun Territory!

Did the Christmas train. On a rainy chilly night. Were given the option to attend a different night due to weather. But went in the mist. Worth the price. Will do other rides there. Was pleasantly surprised when we passed Ringling Bros trains. Brought back great memories.

My family had a fantastic time here, there is a little something for everyone and you cannot beat the price. What a great cause as well. I did think the train ride would be more scary (because of the name) but it is still a good way to start the night off. Maybe it could be if there were more volunteers/actors out by the train cars etc… but, they did amazing with the “staff” they had. Live entertainment was awesome- loved it. I think each one of us had a different “favorite” haunt by the time we were done - I personally really liked possum hollar. Definitely will return for more jump scares in the future. Thanks for all you do Kirby Family Farm

We had so much fun!! We're a family of 12. Ten kids/mom & dad. ALL the kids had such a good time, from the 4 year old to the teenagers!! The volunteers and staff couldn't be nicer. Everyone we interacted with was kind. The Christmas Train was so awesome! The Ferris Wheel operators were particularly fun. The young man giving his "spiel" to every rider was great!! He had us laughing and truly made it fun. The gentleman working the entry gate also made the wait in line fun and entertaining. Thanks guys!! I THINK ALL THE SMILES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Husband was stoked to drive 6 hours to come here only to be told we can’t do anything but Stock trail because our kids are not 12+. When we asked why we were told “insurance liability”. Not wanting to be disrespectful we let it go - However, you’re forced to sign a release of liability waver with the purchase of your entry…so shouldn’t those decisions be at the discretion of the parent? Perhaps next year the farm could require “Proof of insurance” and specific Jeep criteria (roll cages, harnesses, etc) for those who wish to have responsible safe fun with their children.

I read on Google some bad reviews of Kirby farms and I just don't get it, we had an absolute wonderfully scary time! The explosion on the train was unbelievable, the walk throughs we're great, the actors all did a great job. The trailer park was my favorite, bit they were all good. My only criticism would be more emphasis on being cash only. We had enough to eat , etc but just barley because we didn't know it was cash only, but the food was great, the chili was some of the best I've had. Overall we had a great time, they had the best Halloween walk throughs we've seen in years. In my opinion the price was a bargain for all the entertainment you get. If you don't go for Halloween, you're missing out! I'll edit this and add what we think of Christmas, because we will be there for it, and we will make this an annual thing!! Thank you Kirby family!

Such an amazing hometown hunt even though it’s run by hundreds of volunteers it’s one of the most impressive hunts I have been to in a long time. In the center of the field you’ll find I never before real life hearse maze. And what Florida 100 attraction would be more scary than the trailer park come and find your kinfolk in this awesome walk-through.. it’s definitely worth the drive and the time head up to Kirby family farm enjoy scary train

They have one of the original circus trains from Barnum and Bailey. It was a very cool day! Highly recommended. All event sales go to preservation and charity. Fun day.

My kids and I had a great time at the Kirby Farm. The train was an open-air steam train which was neat. Our favorite part was when the train went through the forest, and laser lights were just everywhere. That was pretty cool. The train also goes through several moving light displays and had Christmas music piped in. Everyone at the farm was super friendly. The ferris wheel is antique and was pretty exciting to ride (a little bit fast and a little "scary," but that made it exciting). We also rode the antique carousel, which was a unique experience. We also roasted s'mores but only got 2 as it was $7 per s'more. Bring cash as there's an extra $2 charge to use a credit card. Ironically, my kids had the most fun playing on their playground. The playground had some challenging climbing features that the kids enjoyed defeating. Also, when you are coming in to the farm there is no sign and my vehicle's GPS didn't even show a road (which was really a driveway), so we missed our turn the first time. I did take away one star in my rating because their policy doesn't allow you to change your nights. So if someone (or even everyone) in your family gets sick, you are just out the money. We went late as we kept hoping my husband's migraine would improve, but it didn't, so we had to go without him, and we got there so late that we missed out on a few things (such as Santa!). I still recommend this experience, just wanted to throw in that word of caution for families who have members with unpredictable health (unless you can afford / don't mind the donation to the farm - which is a good cause).

What an awesome place. Went there on Christmas time and the feel, vibe and everything was very special. The train ride was super cool. The animal feeding was great. People were very nice. I recommend this to everyone interested. Kids will love it.

My best friend and her family go every year and I have never been! We went to the scary train event and it was so much fun, I love scary stuff however I don't like extreme scary stuff and it was like the perfect amount for me! I had so much fun, the only one I missed out on was the clown one but that's only because I have an extreme fear of clowns and I wasn't gonna even get close to it.

Last year scary train was great. This year I feel like I paid $20 actually $70 for 3 of us to walk in the woods. Nothing was scary! Not enough volunteers? Ok then shut down 2 of the trails and condensed the volunteers to the other trails. Make it worth our time. We won't be going back. Not worth the money

Went to the Wild West Weekend and had great time! The train wasn't running but the shows, cowboys, vendors, etc were all fun.

We went here for their Halloween Haunted House theme. The staff were great and the haunts were decently done. As a not for profit childrens charity they did very good. This place has so much potential at every turn that it could eventually be one of the greatest haunts in the country. More staff, a bit more imagination and better utilization of the Ringling Brothers train, the vast fields and wooded areas, the rows and rows of military vehicles, even the little town scene and the many other assests that this farm has at its disposal could make Kirby Farm an amazing must see Halloween destination. It is well worth the visit, just needs a little more and it would be spectacular. Thank you all for having us, i will be back. Hope to watch this event grow to its full potential.

I'm giving it 4 stars only because the scary train wasn't scary and one of the other attractions wasn't good..but everything else was great

I’ve been to both Holiday events here now. The Scary Train and the Christmas Train. Both are fantastic, and worth it for the price. Cash is best FYI. We had a blast at the haunted attractions. The characters were in full effect and made it even better. The haunted attractions are top notch for a small town or any surrounding local towns. Don’t expect HHN, because it’s not. But, family oriented and pretty darn good scares. Best I’ve been to locally. The Christmas Train is beautiful and the event is a lot of fun, nostalgia feel. Definitely worth the price. Kids will have a blast, adults too.

This was our second year visiting Kirby Family Farm. It was a cold, misty night, but everyone there was welcoming and in good spirits. The train ride was fun; we enjoyed watching our three-year-old granddaughter take in the sights. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!

The farm was a neat place and kept my toddler entertained. We all enjoyed the train ride . We would like to come back and see the farm in the day light if possible. It was busy but the line for the train moves quickly . *Beware if going to funnel cake stand Funnel cake cashier decided to either treat themselves to a tip or don’t know how to count change ! I guess I paid for the people behind me because she didn’t charge them at all.

Loved the train ride! Wish some of the attractions had been better marked or had better lighting and that there had been more open attractions, but it was cold and damp and low attendance, so I understand why the farm wasn’t operating at full capacity. Also wish I would have been able to learn a little more about the history of the place and it’s current operation. But it was a great, family-friendly atmosphere, and I will definitely plan to return for future events!

We had a really great time. The shows were fun and entertaining! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The train ride was fun as well. They change up the shows so it's not just the same thing over and over. There were a few small kiddie rides, our group was 5 adults. There were a few photo ops: hangman's noose, wanted poster, pine box, etc. I would definitely go back! No smoking inside the attraction. The food was over priced as expected. $8 for a chili dog, $7 for a fried ribbon potato, $2 for a CAN of soda. The kiosk ran out of cups so a cup of chili was no longer available.
