Definitely
the
worst
Korean
BBQ
experience
of
my
life.
As
a
Korean
who
grew
up
in
LA
and
lived
in
Korea
for
a
couple
years,
I
am
very
familiar
with
good
Korean
BBQ.
This
was
not
it.
Seafood
pancake
-
Usually
a
family
favorite,
theirs
was
bland
and
not
fresh.
It
should
have
come
hot
off
a
frying
pan
and
been
savory
deliciousness.
It
was
far
from
that.
It
also
had
bell
peppers,
which
is
an
nontraditional
twist
I
didn't
like.
Soy
bean
paste
soup
-
Came
out
lukewarm
(very
unusual
as
Korean
soups
are
usually
boiling
hot)
and
my
tofu
was
a
bit
cold
in
the
middle.
It
tasted
alright,
but
nothing
special.
Ban
Chan
(Korean
side
dishes)
-
Definitely
tasted
old.
The
fish
cake,
pickled
cucumber,
bean
sprouts,
and
kimchi.
All
old.
Korean
BBQ
-
A
couple
of
issues
with
the
setup.
(1)
The
fan
was
incredibly
loud
and
right
above
our
heads,
so
it
was
very
uncomfortable.
(2)
The
coals
were
not
hot
enough
so
with
3
people
to
one
grill,
it
could
not
cook
the
meat
fast
enough.
Bulgogi-
The
marinade
was
bland
and
the
meat
was
a
bit
tough.
Not
inedible,
but
far
from
the
best.
Kalbi-
The
meat
was
tender,
but
the
marinade
was
once
again
bland.
Chicken-
The
meat
was
tender
and
the
marinade
was
pretty
good.
The
only
thing
my
wife
and
I
noticed
was
that
there
was
a
slightly
sour/bitter
aftertaste.
We
couldn't
figure
out
what
it
was.
Stone
pot
fried
rice-
The
rice
did
crisp
up
nicely
on
the
bottom,
but
it
tasted
very
bland
with
little
to
no
sesame
seed
oil
and
their
red
pepper
sauce
didn't
taste
very
good.
This
was
my
first
time
here,
so
I
don't
know
if
it
was
a
off
day
because
they
are
rated
so
highly,
but
this
visit
was
a
1
star
visit.
