Babcock Grove House is a great little pub style restaurant. The burgers are a great choice and the drinks seem delicious although I did not partake.

My husband's and my favorite Lombard spot! I always go for the Unity Vibration Kombucha Beer, but their wine selection is usually good too. You also have to get their cheese curds. so good. All of their food is awesome. The place has a great ambiance. The owners and staff are super nice! We've been coming here for 6 years and will definitely miss it when we move.

The food was so good as always! Mediterranean salad, and bacon burger! The outside patio is just opening. Remember to go inside and put your name on the list to sit outside. So people don't just walk up and claim your table like they did to us and 2 other people after we have been waiting for it to be cleared. 🤦‍♀️

We met up with an old friend for lunch here and it was the perfect spot. Our first impression when we stepped inside was that this was a cool space. It was a beautiful day outside so we ended up eating in their outdoor dining section. They explained we could order from inside and then they would bring the food out. They had some really unique items on the menu such as Buffalo cheese curds, new England shrimp rolls, pulled pork pie, as well as gourmet burgers, schnitzel flats, and a fried chicken sandwich which I had and would definitely recommend. The prices were very reasonable (I can only vouch for lunch) and we had a great experience overall. Will definitely make this one of our go to spots in Lombard.

Classic American dishes served in a historic building in downtown Lombard. There is a small bar that looks like it was originally there serving local craft beers. Cozy table seating inside along with one booth near the front and another near the back of the restaurant. There is outdoor seating on nice days. Available parking on the street. Before 4p it is counter service. You order at the cashier and they bring your food and drinks to your table via a number they hand you. After 4p it is full table service. Food was great and everything seemed fresh. All the elements of my Green Goddess salad tasted fresh picked. The creamy garlic mushroom soup was delicious. Perfect for garlic lovers. The wings were also delicious and new to me. There was a subtle pickle flavor that really worked and was great with the dill sauce they drizzle over the wings. We had a very enjoyable lunch there and would be happy to come back and try everything else on the menu!

Delicious! Tasty! Unique! Well worth a visit. Not traditional sandwiches but so good. We couldn't eat all our fries so we brought them home, too tasty yo leave behind. Ordered Chicken, apple, Brie sandwich and burger which were so good. Soda is homemade and friend said best Strawberry soda he's had! Staff is great! Small place with tasty food. Highly recommend. On corner of St. Charles Rd and Main in downtown Lombard.

First time eating here I always drove by and it’s busy in the summer. The place looks really cute from the outside! We ordered beef sliders and salmon quinoa bowl my fish so tasty and I really loved the sesame dressing with the cucumber and avocado my two favorite! We each had a glass of wine and the total was $60 so it’s not cheap lunch. But there are really healthy and delicious options as well as bar food.

This was a great place to grab an early dinner with my folks! We sat outside- their outdoor seating is really pleasant. They don't do regular sit-down service; we went inside and told thdm we were sitting down, got our own menus, and went back in to place our orders and pay. The waitress did bring the food out (we carried our drinks after ordering) but no one checked to see if things were ok. That's ok, just make sure you're not expecting a full service place. The food was amazing (it always is) and the plates were cleared before we left. The food is just fantastic, and it's pretty reasonable priced. Definitely somewhere you should try if you're in the area!

An amazing place! Our waiter, Luke, was helpful, friendly, and seemed to know just when to make an appearance. The food was delicious, our appetizer arrived within minutes of being ordered, and our food shortly after ordered as well. They have a respectable craft beer selection, and the prices were very reasonable!

Tasty delicious food. Staff was friendly and food came out quick. Recommend getting there early if you don’t want to wait. The blue cheese burger was very tasty and the fries were fresh.

It's sort of the shining gem of downtown Lombard. It offers sort of an upscale almost hipster approach to bars and pub food. The beers are all local brews though not a real wide selection. The food is pretty good as well with things like pulled pork grilled cheese and some pretty darn good fried cheese curds.

We live further west but always make Babcock’s a priority when we are in the area. Such a nice place. Owner is great. Comes around to your table to see how everything was, even tells jokes to the younger ones. Excellent food. Service very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices for the high quality food. Great kids options.

Love love love this place. Food is superb. Service is friendly. Best part though, if it's busy and you have to wait for a table you can go next door for some drinks at the Lilac League. I always recommend this place to people out visiting the area.

I live in Lombard and have gone to Bobcock's a few times. The food is modest but done well. They have wine and beer only, so adjust your expectation. But if you are a beer drinker, they have a good set of beers on their menu that would satisfy every taste. They have an outdoor seating and indoor. Their menu prices are decent and will not break the bank. So, do go and support this local business as it is certainly worth the visit.

The food was delicious. I had the hamburg burger from the German menu and, oh man. The bun was absolutely amazing. The burger was simple but very well pit together. I want it again. Actually, I want like three to stuff my face with. They also have fresh baked pie, which was very yummy. The staff was nice and very respectful. Our friends toddler fell off her chair, and you could tell the manager is a dad/grandpa. He helped calm her down and was very concerned 🥰 The downside is that the dining room is small and kind of cramped. A full house would feel a bit claustrophobic, I think. On top of that, you have to go up the register to order, so maneuvering between the tables may be a bit tricky.

The burger had good flavor. It's like a smash burger so it's thin. The burger is a bit over priced though. I didn't like the fries, the were kind of soggy. Definitely be better if they par cooked/poached them first to add a crisp. I really like the bacon alot. I probably wouldn't come back but I did enjoy the food.

I have to say first that I pretty much only like medium rare burgers and this restaurant doesn’t serve them that way. So it’s a little unfair to rate them on their burgers but that’s what I ordered. The server said it would be well done, but i decided to give it a try. I got their pub burger. It was ok. My wife had the ginger carrot soup, it was not to our liking. The hummus was ok. The fries were quite good. My son likes his burgers well done, so he was happy. The food came very fast. The service was great, the owner gave us a 3 minute history lesson on the building which was very informative.

What an amazing place! It is a quaint little spot with a fantastic menu. The meatloaf was killer and the pretzels were delicious. I didn't get a burger or a quinoa bowl but they look unbelievable. Definitely will be ordering that next time. Tried talking a photo of the pretzels. That's the best I could do 🤣. Kids menu had some good options and the fries I stole from the kids were very tasty homestyle.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, the menu, the prices, and the employees were all welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms which I did visit. The food was cooked exactly the way we requested, crispy bacon is a must for me, and we all enjoyed our meals. We actually enjoyed sitting viewing the menu, then going up to order, and paying. I feel this saves you time when you are ready to go you can just go and you don't have to worry about waiting for your bill and paying. Overall, we recommend this restaurant and we will be back for sure whenever we are in the Lombard area. I did try the lilac shake and if you go give it a try!

Wow! That's a great restaurant. I haven't been so amused with a restaurant before in my life. With great food, especially their burgers, this is worth your money. I think I had the best experience and feeling while eating my breakfast. It was so awesome that I can come back again and again. The staffs were so friendly and very accommodating. They were very attentive in every detail that I gave them. They respect privacy of every customer. Very cozy and the food will never disappoint you. The place is very clean and follow health standards, since it's pandemic. The overall service was excellent. I am a very satisfied customer and I will recommend Babcock's Groove House to all of my friends. So, what are you waiting for? Let's dig in!

This place is delicious! Food was fantastic. You walk in and order at the counter, are given a number and then food is delivered. Their selections are delicious and fresh and we were all really happy. Kids portions are way too big so that was the only call out. Will def come back!

5 stars is not enough for Babcock's. The young staff is lively and efficient. Our server, Lydia, was on point with her recommendations. I had the chicken schnitzel, which was piping hot and served with mashed potatoes that tasted like homemade and perfectly seasoned mixed vegetables. Oh! Be sure to try the fried pickles appetizer! They're thinly sliced and not overly salty. My husband enjoyed the meatloaf, also served with mashed potatoes and mixed vegeys. Save room for dessert! The banoffee pie was heavenly. I cannot wait for my return visit.

My wife and I are house hunting in various suburbs and we ran into this gem in downtown Lombard. Service was super friendly, loved the atmosphere and music. The food and drinks were spectacular. If we end up finding a reasonably affordable home in Lombard, my wife and I are convinced we will be frequenting this place weekly. The meatloaf was incredible with the blue cheese and sriracha.
