Upsetting! They tell people they do bridge work and implants over the phone and the teachers tell you the same! This is to only get you in the door so the students can document their time for credit! I went and took my Mom which our time is valuable as we both have businesses to run! I called and spoke to Manager because I was so angry that I picked my Mom up from downtown when I live in the suburbs, took her to Downers Grove to find out they do NOT do Bridge work or Implants! I also had an appointment the following day for implants! I then called to double check and they lied again over the phone stating they do Bridge Work and Implants! I was so livid! Spoke to a manager and she lied too! They are so desperate for students that they do NOT care who's time they waste which is so upsetting and dishonest! My Mom and I both received a letter mentioning we both differed treatment and reminding us that they will move us to being "inactive" patient status if we don't come back within 2 weeks! These people are ridiculous! I'd rather pay thousands out of pocket than deal with an unorganized, dishonest and time wasting school that can't do the job to begin with because they lie via phone and in person and are desperate for people to come so students can have their time accredited! By the way, My Mom and I had 2 separate teachers so, it's obvious their dishonesty spills throughout the entire school. So pissed off! NEVER AGAIN!

A terrible University headed by an evil Lady who only cares about profit. A very high student to teacher ratio. Underpaid and overworked staff. Very few African American students due to their selective policies. You pay top dollar and receive very little support. Stay away from this Private school which exploits tax payer money , by overcharging students and if they qualify many will not find jobs. Claimed 100% pharmacy placement when over 25% of that class is still unemployed. This does not include those students who did a rotation for a year and cannot find work. Masters in Biology students, PsyD are amongst the most dissatisfied interms of being able to repay their loans. President Goepp(Crookinger) inger who founded , owns and runs MW holding corporation which controls Illinois and Arizona campuses, makes over $2M yearly and has nearly $90 million waiting in her retirement account so far. Many students are unable to pay their loans so it falls on the taxpayers. Avoid this school like the plague unless your parents can pay cash for your overpriced tuition, you do not require any help from the overworked staff and are upper middle class White or Asian from the wealthy surrounding area.

For a simple problem you must go to multiple appointments over a period of months. I found Theresa Lao dds to be unprofessional as she should be more discreet when talking about patient to student. It's just creepy and unnecessary with the student taking pictures not just of patient's teeth but having patient stand against the wall and take a front and side pictures as in a police lineup though driver's license was already scanned in.

I'm disappointed with this University. I traveled over an hour with my children and nowhere in their brochures does it state that children are not allowed with you. A wasted trip for nothing and they didn't care that I waited for more than a month to get an appointment and that I was in pain.

Due to the installment of unethical faculty at the School of Optometry, I cannot recommend this institution.

Great school for health professionals, but is far from many things. Small campus, but very intimate and the faculty is very friendly. Facilities are up to date, but library could definitely use some work.

Don’t trust these clowns! I had a major surgery done on my teeth through them.. there were some issues on the weekend, and nobody was there to help me with the pain and agony I was in!!! Finally I went to an oral surgeon on an emergency basis, and as he was fixing the problem, he asked me where I had my teeth done, and I told him.. he said that school is a joke, and several the patients that bad experiences there ended up seeing him. So the idea that you get what you pay for is true, not only did I pay money to have this substandard Work done at this so-called university, but I also had to of course, pay even more money out to get the problem fixed that they caused. Their incompetence is incredible and not worth your time, money or suffering.!!!!

This school has changed drastically for the worse. The student I had was so unknowable about my bridge that fell off. She said I needed 2 root canals & I’d already had one. The second tooth was so decayed it cracked. I had to go to another dentist to get it pulled. The instructors could care less. If the student is in it for money & not to become the best dentist they shouldn’t come here. The student I had was.

-An update to my previous review about this awful facility.. I have found a new dentist, an honest caring one, who has informed me that I did not even need the 8 ROOT CANALS that Midwestern claimed I needed. Also, not enough evidence to say for sure, but awfully coincidental, I was diagnosed with cancer after letting this school do all of these root canals as well as way TOO many x-rays. You be the judge, just please please be careful trusting these people. I don't know how they sleep at night.

Hello everyone. Does anyone at this university know someone named Evelyn Davis?

As you enter the registration area, you will be confronted by a large, muscular security guard. There is also another guard outside. Why would a university need these intimidating guards? Could it be to intercept irate former patients
