I cannot be clearer: do not come to RMI. Their providers are great, but the billing department are the most incompetent people that I’ve ever worked with. We had to fight lazy, unpleasant people every step of the way to just file the right claims to save us thousands of dollars. At one point I had to three way call in a representative from my insurance company to tell the person in charge of billing what to do. She accused the insurance rep of fraud. When we finally told them that the experience was unsatisfactory, they immediately said they would no longer do business with us. Mid-IVF round. No notice.

I am so happy I decided to reach out to a different fertility clinic because it is a worlds difference! The reproductive center in Oakbrook treats you like a number. They have awful bedside manner and don’t explain anything to you. Going to a new place I was shocked when they explained every single detail and I met with the doctor numerous times. Here, I saw the dr once and she was in and out, talking a mile a minute. The only saving grace there is the nurse Stacy, she was really personable and nice. The front desk girls are so rude. This is a place where people feel nervous and on edge and you think they would be a little kinder. Do yourself a favor and do not come here unless you want a miserable experience.

Do not come here for IVF care under any circumstances. They drop patients simply for speaking about their issues with the billing department. They are incompetent providers, they will not refer you out, and they will only add unnecessary stress and complications to your reproductive journey.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone struggling with fertility. I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at age 24. I sought help from Dr. Rana and his staff. From the beginning he and his nurse were rude, unreliable and inconsistent. I was taking medications to keep my uterus healthy, but when I would inquire about those medications, the side effects, whether or not they also served as a type of ‘birth control’ (which I did not want), I got three different answers from three different members of his team. These medications also became inconsistent due to his office staff not answering or returning patient phone calls regarding refills and when to begin and stop the different medications. Fertility is a very sensitive and trying time for the patient, if you are looking for quality care and a doctor that is actually invested in you and your health DO NOT come here.

Do not waste your time here. Read reviews and stay away. Many other places with better clinical stuff, billing department and doctors who will call on time to discuss the process of ivf. They need a new management stuff who actually will change the entire stuff.

I am in shock of the horrendous experience I had under Dr. Trukhacheva care at RMI Oakbrook. Scheduling errors, vital medical oversights, contradicting results and incorrect prescriptions were made with my treatment. I was often confused and overwhelmed with next steps due to lack of communication. When I voiced concerns, I was belittled and yelled at by nurses, even hung up on by Laura when she told me my phone conference appointment with Dr. T was canceled (without my knowledge or permission.) Based on personal exp from previous fet treatment here, this office has taken on a very lax approach to patient care which is not a good match for successful and stress free fertility care. I decided to leave, mid-treatment, when it was made very clear Dr Trukhacheva would not even return a call to her patients, despite being in tears over the nurses actions and treatment. The Dr didn’t even return a call to my primary doctor when I was having a side effect to the prescription she very recently prescribed me. Either Dr. T has no idea how her staff is treating patients or she doesn’t care, hard to say which one is worse. I would have much preferred to share my experience privately with the doctor but the employees at RMI decided I did not deserve such opportunity.

If you care about your reproductive health, do not seek services here. The providers and billing department are incompetent, unwilling to take feedback, and will drop a (non-abusive, severely mistreated) patient mid-cycle without referring them out.

Just recently lost my job because of poor management lock of communication they terminate my job while I was in the hospital hospital despite the fact I left my job after 9yrs at Elmhurst hospital to work with Dr Rana we referred many patients in my previous job to this facility I’m more then disappointed with everyone who works there especially Terry and Laura who despite the fact that they hired me with already in place requested vacation from months ago they terminate job while I was in the hospital on my fourth week hire. No one ever returned my phone call until 1day later telling me they were not aware of my vacation per upper management Laura. I don’t think any doctor has any clue what’s going in this facility I’m more then hurt but such a unbelief to treat human being that way I hope at least one of the providers can get to this post it’s time to fix and clean up your house, you’re loosing chance to hire some great people that can make a difference in your practice because of poor management I also heard same thing happened last year to one of the hire nurses because Of dislike of supervisor preference sho got let go Please make a difference

Unfortunately, this place seems very unorganized or accommodating. Plus, the director told me one of their doctors has " a rule" never to be on time. I had set an appointment 3 weeks in advance, they bumped it back 15 minutes last minute, and then we waited for 25 minutes from the new time with no idea if the doctor would ever come. I lost my entire plan and lunch time waiting on a doctor who no showed. I still don't know what my results mean which was the most disappointing part. Looking elsewhere for support.

Dr Nayak is great with the nurses but billing department has no customer service they never listen to petient nor doing their job well. They ask you to save credit card with them so can freely charge for anything they want to before explaining or telling you the service or billing insurance. We stop seeing dr Nayak just because of billing office

I do not recommend receiving care from this company. They have dropped patients from care mid-cycle without referrals for future treatment. The billing department has refused to call insurance to confirm coverage, leading to thousands of dollars in unnecessary charges.

Do not come here! The billing department incorrectly charged thousands of dollars to my credit card because they were too lazy to verify the correct copays with my insurance. It stressed me out so badly that it caused me to miscarry. I wish I would’ve changed clinics sooner!

Terrible practice. They cancelled my friend's appointment less than 24 hours prior, insensitive to say the least but also shows the level of care with zero compassion you can expect here. Do yourself and your heart a favor and go somewhere else.

We had a great experience with Dr. T and her wonderful nurses at RMI. Dr. T is so thorough, so met with us and would review my numbers after every appointment and advise the nurses and us on the best course. Her nurses are absolutely the best. We would have questions come up constantly, and they were always so patient and quick to get back to us, which is wonderful when you are anxious to begin with. Their practice also feels small and more personalized. It was rare when I had to wait more than 15 minutes, and my care was very individualized to what was happening for me. I would recommend them to anyone!

I Used this location in 2020 for my first baby, Dr Rana was amazing, his staff was great. Always very attentive and helpful. And the billing department was on point with my medical cost and patient portion. Blessed that my insurance covered majority of the IVF process. But the things I needed to pay out of my own cost, they worked with me on an affordable payment plan. Very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you guys so much helping me achieve my goal to be a mommy!!🥰🫶🏻

RMI has been such an incredible blessing. Being able to start with Dr. Rana was amazing. It was completely heartbreaking with his sudden passing but transitioning to Dr. Victoria was smooth to say the least. She is not only an amazing doctor, but such a sweetheart and loving person. I am extremely thankful to have been under the care of such a wonderful group of individuals. Walking into the office to Lilly's energetic and kind personality or getting her on the phone every time I called was truly a highlight for me. She has a way of making you feel welcomed and cared for every single time. Thank you, Lilly! Being under the care of Sophia and Tiffany was an absolute blessing. They were AMAZING to say the least. I remember having a bit of a scare (I fell in my yard a few days after I found out I was pregnant) and I completely freaked out. I spoke to Sophia on an evening she was on-call because it was after hours and she gracefully reassured me and made me feel so at ease. Thank you both so much! Mariola, the ultrasound tech, is the kindest soul. She was always so sweet, loving and you can tell she truly cares for her patients. I am very thankful overall for everyone who is part of RMI. You are all incredible. Thank you!

I became a patient at RMI in December of 2022 and just completed my treatment in August 2023. As a new patient and new to fertility treatment, I had felt my patient experience was overall very well at RMI. Of course there are positives and negatives to every medical center but at RMI the positives greatly out measured the negatives. I had Dr. T as my physician In relation to communication - Dr. T's team was incredible. During my treatment, Kaitlyn, Natalia and Stacey were outstanding at uploading instructions and answering my questions in a timely manner. I never felt 'lost' or like I didn't know what to expect pre and post procedure. I would have liked more communication from Dr. T. I only interacted with her at the time of my procedures. Other than that, I never received any outreach from her specifically. Communication and instructions were always sent by her staff, which, again, are wonderful people who are great at their job. If you're seeking out a more personal approach to your care specifically with your doctor, I would ask if that is an option with your care at RMI. In relation to procedures - I had two retrievals and one transfer. Both retrievals were smooth and as 'lovely' as they can be. I had incredible nurses; Renee, Taylor and Terri. I had Taylor for pre and post care in both retrievals, and she prepped me for my transfer. Taylor is a lovely person, very respectful and always had an uplifting personality. Taylor even remembered me which was nice to feel like you're seen as a patient and not just in and out of the door. If you're scheduling a procedure, as for Taylor for pre and post care :-) My transfer procedure was not entirely as I had expected. The procedure itself with Dr. T was fine; everything went smooth and I had no issues. The care after the procedure was odd. To start the process, Taylor had gone through the paperwork with me and explained the procedure. At this time, my husband wasn't allowed to be in the procedure, which was disappointing but RMI was still under covid restrictions in July. They actually just lifted their restrictions 2 weeks ago. Anyways, after I was changed, another staff member came to my room and escorted me to the procedure room. She stated that she would be in the room with me and Dr. T, doing ultrasound for the procedure. Again, everything went well and after the procedure, the ultrasound tech said she was going to remove the tools from the room and come back to get me. It wasn't until 45 minutes later that she returned. I was laying on the table and after about 20 minutes, I started yelling "hello?? Embryology?? Is anyone there??" No one came and no one heard me. Once she returned she apologized and said she forgot about me and went to the pharmacy for another patient. Other than being forgotten about, the worst part was actually that I had a full bladder for the procedure and was suppose to be allowed to use the restroom post transfer. My husband was instructed to stay in the parking lot and that I would be back in 15-20 minutes, but an hour had gone by from the time of the procedure to the time I was back in the car. He was a little worried but thankfully nothing was wrong. I work in the medical field and I understand things happen. People have busy days and there's a lot to juggle with patient care. Overall, the staff was great! One unexpected experience doesn't take away from 9 months of great care. My treatment plan was thorough and catered to my fertility needs. I never had any issues receiving mediation. Kaitlyn, Natalia and Stacey made a world of difference in my care and I'm very grateful for them. Taylor was wonderful and my anesthesiologist, Amber, was fantastic. I'm very satisfied with my care and the professionalism of the team working with me. I would return to RMI for future family planning.

I cannot recommend RMI (specifically this location and Dr Victoria) enough. Nobody wants to need this kind of care, and having competent people who walk you through everything makes it much easier. After every appointment, the nurses assigned to your case either call or message you with details and explicit instructions for whatever you need to do for that part of your cycle, as well as answer any questions that come up after or that you forget to ask the doctor. This was so helpful to me as sometimes it's hard to remember everything, and it's nice feeling taken care of and like there are people helping along the way. Every appointment, be it a procedure or imaging or blood work is extremely timely, which is so important when you're going through something that can require upwards of 3 appointments a week. The billing department was extremely helpful. On the first day of my IUI cycle, my insurance changed. They handled it very smoothly for me and got me reimbursed. I am now happily 15 weeks pregnant and could not be more thankful for everyone-Dr Victoria, Tiffany, Sophia, Mariola,  and the list goes on!

I became a patient of RMI in February of 2022 and finished my treatment in April of 2023. My Doctor was Dr. Rana who unfortunately passed away in March of 2023. I was treated by Dr. Victoria at the end and she completed my last and successful transfer. I want to say that Dr. Rana was one of a kind and he was truly a compassionate doctor. The Nurse that I worked with the most was also very compassionate, had great bedside manner and overall a great personality for working with fertility patients. I did have one encounter with a nurse in which I was not pleased but I addressed it the office manager and the issue was taken care of. Overall the entire office staff was pleasant and easy to work with/talk to. The ultrasound techs were also very kind and considerate and professional. I utilized the offices in Oak Lawn and Oak Brook and found them to both be easily accessible and hours to be reasonably accomodating. And would reiterate the staff at both locations were pleasant to work with. Sadly my favorite phlebotomist from Oak Lawn left, but all of their phlebotomists were great at drawing blood from my difficult veins. I would give RMI 5 stars if it wasn't for their billing department. The billing department made it very clear they needed their money for you to start a cycle and I always made sure payments were made. When I completed my treatment I had a refund balance that took 2 months to get from them and after being told on multiple occaions that it would be mailed out to me and it never was. It took me reaching out multiple times to get my refund check. I inevitbly ended up having to go and get it myself and didn't even recieve an apology from the billing department regarding the situation. Again, this is my only complaint and I wouldn't discount RMI based on this but would encourage you as the patient to advocate for yourself and stay diligent.

Absolutely the most helpful and wonderful team of the physicians, clinicians, and administration. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the finance department - each person has been monumental in their help! I absolutely love this group, and will recommend them to everyone and anyone!

The current front desk receptionist- Mariana is very friendly, kind and inviting. She greets patients by name upon entering and is very courteous. My one issue with RMI Oakbrook is that the front desk staff is often cold, uninviting and even a bit rude. Mariana is a breath of fresh air.

Dr. Victoria is an amazing physician, she is incredibly honest and upfront with information. The nurse team is phenomenal, especially Sophia. Infertility is really difficult, and they made each step seem attainable. Currently expecting our rainbow 🌈

Dr Rana and his staff is the best. Mariola and Dr Rana have been working with me for 7 years now. I was able to naturally conceive my son after my laparoscopy. They treat me like family and respect my wishes and choices. They are the best!

Dr.Victoria and her staff are great. They did the right diagnosis for me to get pregnant. I was just seeing them from 2 months and I was put into right medications. Tiffany is great and her patience made me to ask any question. She is immediately reachable anytime I have a question. I really liked the empathy Dr. Victoria and her staff showed on me that I will never forget. They are my lucky charm 😊
