I
became
a
patient
at
RMI
in
December
of
2022
and
just
completed
my
treatment
in
August
2023.
As
a
new
patient
and
new
to
fertility
treatment,
I
had
felt
my
patient
experience
was
overall
very
well
at
RMI.
Of
course
there
are
positives
and
negatives
to
every
medical
center
but
at
RMI
the
positives
greatly
out
measured
the
negatives.
I
had
Dr.
T
as
my
physician
In
relation
to
communication
-
Dr.
T's
team
was
incredible.
During
my
treatment,
Kaitlyn,
Natalia
and
Stacey
were
outstanding
at
uploading
instructions
and
answering
my
questions
in
a
timely
manner.
I
never
felt
'lost'
or
like
I
didn't
know
what
to
expect
pre
and
post
procedure.
I
would
have
liked
more
communication
from
Dr.
T.
I
only
interacted
with
her
at
the
time
of
my
procedures.
Other
than
that,
I
never
received
any
outreach
from
her
specifically.
Communication
and
instructions
were
always
sent
by
her
staff,
which,
again,
are
wonderful
people
who
are
great
at
their
job.
If
you're
seeking
out
a
more
personal
approach
to
your
care
specifically
with
your
doctor,
I
would
ask
if
that
is
an
option
with
your
care
at
RMI.
In
relation
to
procedures
-
I
had
two
retrievals
and
one
transfer.
Both
retrievals
were
smooth
and
as
'lovely'
as
they
can
be.
I
had
incredible
nurses;
Renee,
Taylor
and
Terri.
I
had
Taylor
for
pre
and
post
care
in
both
retrievals,
and
she
prepped
me
for
my
transfer.
Taylor
is
a
lovely
person,
very
respectful
and
always
had
an
uplifting
personality.
Taylor
even
remembered
me
which
was
nice
to
feel
like
you're
seen
as
a
patient
and
not
just
in
and
out
of
the
door.
If
you're
scheduling
a
procedure,
as
for
Taylor
for
pre
and
post
care
:-)
My
transfer
procedure
was
not
entirely
as
I
had
expected.
The
procedure
itself
with
Dr.
T
was
fine;
everything
went
smooth
and
I
had
no
issues.
The
care
after
the
procedure
was
odd.
To
start
the
process,
Taylor
had
gone
through
the
paperwork
with
me
and
explained
the
procedure.
At
this
time,
my
husband
wasn't
allowed
to
be
in
the
procedure,
which
was
disappointing
but
RMI
was
still
under
covid
restrictions
in
July.
They
actually
just
lifted
their
restrictions
2
weeks
ago.
Anyways,
after
I
was
changed,
another
staff
member
came
to
my
room
and
escorted
me
to
the
procedure
room.
She
stated
that
she
would
be
in
the
room
with
me
and
Dr.
T,
doing
ultrasound
for
the
procedure.
Again,
everything
went
well
and
after
the
procedure,
the
ultrasound
tech
said
she
was
going
to
remove
the
tools
from
the
room
and
come
back
to
get
me.
It
wasn't
until
45
minutes
later
that
she
returned.
I
was
laying
on
the
table
and
after
about
20
minutes,
I
started
yelling
"hello??
Embryology??
Is
anyone
there??"
No
one
came
and
no
one
heard
me.
Once
she
returned
she
apologized
and
said
she
forgot
about
me
and
went
to
the
pharmacy
for
another
patient.
Other
than
being
forgotten
about,
the
worst
part
was
actually
that
I
had
a
full
bladder
for
the
procedure
and
was
suppose
to
be
allowed
to
use
the
restroom
post
transfer.
My
husband
was
instructed
to
stay
in
the
parking
lot
and
that
I
would
be
back
in
15-20
minutes,
but
an
hour
had
gone
by
from
the
time
of
the
procedure
to
the
time
I
was
back
in
the
car.
He
was
a
little
worried
but
thankfully
nothing
was
wrong.
I
work
in
the
medical
field
and
I
understand
things
happen.
People
have
busy
days
and
there's
a
lot
to
juggle
with
patient
care.
Overall,
the
staff
was
great!
One
unexpected
experience
doesn't
take
away
from
9
months
of
great
care.
My
treatment
plan
was
thorough
and
catered
to
my
fertility
needs.
I
never
had
any
issues
receiving
mediation.
Kaitlyn,
Natalia
and
Stacey
made
a
world
of
difference
in
my
care
and
I'm
very
grateful
for
them.
Taylor
was
wonderful
and
my
anesthesiologist,
Amber,
was
fantastic.
I'm
very
satisfied
with
my
care
and
the
professionalism
of
the
team
working
with
me.
I
would
return
to
RMI
for
future
family
planning.
