If you want your hair to get damaged and waste your money, go to this place! I scheduled an appointment for full highlight for $127 and when I went there they told me my hair is thick and it will cost more. I asked them to do partial for $127. The manager said ok. There were two ladies doing my hair highlights one of them was the manager. She was whispering with her staff all the time which is not polite! Once I was done, they told me at the end that the person who was supposed to do my hair highlights was not at work and they did it for me! I think that’s why she didn’t do a good job! They did an orange highlights on my hair while I told them at the beginning that I don’t want that color! When I went to the counter for payment, I bought the purple shampoo and conditioner which was on sale (buy one and get one 50% off), the cashier asked me for tip, but since I was not happy with their service I didn’t pay tip and she did not give me the 50% discount on shampoo! I wish I could give them zero star!

Most rude customer service. My young sister who doesn't wear make up and wanted to start learning what products are recommended and more. She asked a lady- and I quote "hi can you help me? I don't wear makeup, and I am going to a wedding and no idea where to start." In which the lady just stared with not even a smirk, smile or something and it was an awkward silence before she responded with bad attitude "ok? So What's the queation?" My sister and I just looked at her in disbelieve and my sister just said "never mind, thank you" as she walked away. I couldn't believe that, horrible. I was very upset 😡 still am no one should be treated like that especially at a make up place.

I’m a long time Ulta customer and always come to the Old Orchard location, but I recently had a very off-putting experience with one of the managers. I believe her name was Julissa and she had the WORST attitude. She does not know how to communicate to customers and was also very rude to the other employees. She was very unprofessional.

Salon review: If you have fine, straight hair, and a lot of it, I would not recommend seeing Atra for a hair cut. Her technique is not quite there when it comes to layers. I spoke to the manager, who was extremely understanding and helpful, and she recommended Bianca to fix my hair cut. Bianca is outstanding - 10/10 recommend Bianca for a haircut. She is very talented, and her personality shines.

"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE". Everytime I go to this store is always a bad vibe. I asked for help everytime i come here. One of the associates didnt even bother to help me find the product i was looking for. I literally just walked out of there!! The girls here don't know anything about hair or makeup products. They act like they dont want to be there.They are just there to get paided and forget about helping paying customers. I will switch to "SEPHORA". At least the people there are very friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable. The girls who work there are a joke. I ask one of the associates for a sample of a product. She strictly told me "NO". Hire people who are friendly and knowledgeable. I will not come back to this place again. Save yourself a trip and go to SEPHORA instead.

I bumped into a worker by the name Clara, she has been a huge help in giving me recommendations about makeup and skincare as she offered me high and low prices and the differences. Made me feel like a real customer and valued for what I need, went above and beyond her way to help me pick shades I wanted and informed me of ulta’s rules and promotions such as shipping, returns etc. I greatly recommend Clara and appreciate her attending to my needs .

I have used this location for couple of times, my recent experience was horrific. My sister ordered a parfum online for pick up, the warehouse sent toilette instead and the cashier offered that I can go look for parfum if they have it in stock which they didn’t, she was so rude and not bothered at all to which I said let me speak to the manager. The manager as well didn’t compensate me in any way. I drove 30 mins to pick it up, she didn’t offer me the same price for delivery as well as couldn’t do the refund fully without having the physical card on me and told me to come the next day to get fully refunded. WORST SERVICE EVER BY THE STORE AND THE COMPANY. Wasted my time, fuel and energy. ULTA GET IT TOGETHER!

Yes I dropped my wife off there this week and Wanda that worked in mac department took care of her so well that I swear I would return here every week for the rest of my life ....so I would take her out and enjoy an evening and evening.........

They’ve stopped selling some of the more reputable black hair products at this location (Keracare for example) and replaced them with with products by Traci Ellis Ross, and similar haircare products for women with a finer curl pattern.

Kyle the manager was very helpful in getting us in at the last minute for a formal hairstyle. Astra worked very hard to create the look we wanted. A big thank you to both of you

Dennise has been my favorite stylist for decades. Great cut and color every time! Highly recommend!

Their salon is my favorite Astra hands are pure gold . Her blowouts last me days , shes an amazing stylist for women with hair extensions as well.

Utterly disappointing to go shopping, stand in line, pay and then go home, excited to use your new things only to find it has been used. Disgusting. I have never had this problem at Sephora.
