Edit:
after
reading
the
managers
response,
I'm
not
sure
how
to
react.
Apparently
she's
not
the
one
who
cut
my
son's
hair,
even
though
she
was
scheduled
to,
and
no
one
told
us.
If
she
had
to
go
home
sick,
that's
fine,
but
why
didn't
we
get
a
phone
call
to
reschedule?
Or
why
didn't
they
at
least
tell
us
when
we
arrived
at
the
salon?
We
made
an
appointment
specifically
to
see
her,
because
of
her
reputation
with
working
well
with
kids
who
struggle
with
hair
cuts.
So
if
she
was
no
longer
available
that
day,
why
didn't
anyone
clue
me
in??
We
made
the
appointment
the
same
day,
so
the
same
receptionist
was
likely
still
working.
We
live
in
the
city
and
drove
45
minutes
each
way
to
get
to/from
this
salon.
I'm
just
really
disappointed
all
around
and
feel
totally
disrespected.
Original
review:
I
came
here
because
I
was
told
they
do
well
with
autistic
kiddos.
My
son
is
almost
5
and
not
diagnosed
with
autism,
but
has
a
lot
of
characteristics.
Especially
with
sensory
things
like
folks
touching
him
or
the
vibration
of
clippers.
Haircuts
have
always
been
horrible
for
him
(squirming,
screaming,
crying,
the
works).
I
called
and
told
the
receptionist
that
my
son
gets
anxious
and
overwhelmed
easily
so
she
said
I
should
see
their
manager,
which
we
did.
The
cut
is
fine
(a
bit
shorter
than
I'd
asked
for,
but
it's
cute)
but
otherwise
this
was
no
different
than
any
other
experience
for
us.
My
son
cried
and
screamed,
and
she
seemed
in
too
much
of
a
rush
to
really
try
and
help
or
reassure
him
(there
were
2
other
clients
waiting
for
her).
She
wrapped
her
arm
around
my
sons
head
to
physically
hold
him
in
place
multiple
times
towards
the
end.
This
is
not
at
all
what
I
expected.
I
had
such
high
hopes
but
unfortunately
we
won't
be
going
back.
