I thought I am in Thailand for a second! I ordered Moo-Sarong, one of the ancient Thai appertiser way back when Portuguese and Chinese sailing boats to Thailand for trades. This dish was excellent, tender and crispy. Pad Prik Sod is one of my own favorite dishes. This restaurant made this dish perfectly spice and fresh! Highly recommended this place for anyone who want to try authentic Thai food!

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life! I wish I lived closer bc I would eat this weekly if I could. Instead it’s saved for special holidays like Christmas and Birthdays and anytime I’m in Evanston. My family has been coming here for decades and it’s always a joy. The prices are fair, the portions are big, the flavors are delicious, the food is so fresh, and the owners are incredibly friendly. I tell everyone who likes Thai flavors to come here. I have been searching for comparable Thai food forever and it just doesn’t exist, this place is it! We love to get the lime chicken, the pad Thai, the nam sod, drunken noodle, pad se iew, Tom Ka khai , kari puffs, Panang curry, basil beef, and coconut rice (not always at the same time haha). The meat, poultry, and tofu are always high quality and a pleasing texture. They have never ever gotten our to go order wrong either, which is invaluable in these times where we’re doing carry out so much more than in the past.

Great family owned restaurant. Food is always delicious, fresh ingredients. My favorite go to comfort food for past 10 years since I moved to Evanston. Love their taquito style version of Crab Rangoon!

Good value and consistently authentic food. Our go-to Thai takeout place. Before covid we enjoyed the lunch buffet but the restaurant is now much smaller and so does not offer the buffet.

CHECK YOUR BAG IF ORDERING TAKEOUT! I've ordered takeout from these guys 3 times and they've screwed up the order every time. The foods very good but I won't be going back.

I now live out of state, and this is the first restaurant I go to when I’m back in town. My favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. Go here, make sure you try the Tom Yum Shrimp, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry Chicken. This restaurant is so consistently good. Always the same great fresh taste.

Probably the best Thai food in the area. Seems designed for carryout but has a few tables. Bright pleasant atmosphere, not intimate. Asked how hot we wanted a curry dish: 1-5, we said hot and she recommended 2. "Nobody ever orders 5," she said. "just one or two people." And yes, 2 was hot. And delicious.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Have been going here for over 10 years. Amazing food and friendly owners. A wonderful family run business.

Great restaurant. Great food and attentive to customer needs. They cook good Thai food without putting so much sugar or spice. They debone the duck!! Highly recommend the basil duck.

Went here with my mom and daughter. The different variety of food dishes we ordered were delicious. The food was fresh and tasty every single dish. I found the prices to be rather reasonable. Love this restaurant definitely worth our visit. Fast, friendly service highly recommend.

First time I went, food was amazing. I wish I remembered what I ordered because THIS time, the Pad Thai was awful. The only flavor I tasted was SWEET. It didn't even look appetizing...but I was really hungry so I ate some of it. I think it's hit or miss but skip this dish unless you like bland. I had to squeeze lime on it to add flavor. Does this look appetizing to you?

As a professional foodie, I have traveled length & breadth of Thailand several times and Siam Splendor ✔️ all boxes. How I wish the ambience was amped up so that I could use this place for events & celebrations.

Best Tom Kha and Pad Thai I've had outside of the city, except for maybe the place on Dempster in Niles. Avoid the very weird satay that tastes like Indian Tikka. Tilapia remarkably good. Also, mild spicy is plenty spicy. If you order even medium spicy be warned, you will be in pain. This aligns with California Thai spice levels. My tolerance is higher than the average person.

This was the second time that Siam Splendour has done a food donation for a set I've been on. The food is incredible, and the people are amazing. We loved our tofu fried rice and I will 100% be coming here again.

I don’t know if this is how their food should taste or not but if this is as authentic as it can get, than I love it. Do not miss their Tom Yom soup.

Awesome!!! After a long time we found authentic tasting Thai food. Easy parking, very clean and friendly service. Very elaborate menu, lots of variety vof salads, entres and dessert dishes. We tried Massaman curry, spicy green curry and Red curry. All of them came at the requested spice levels. We also ordered a noodle dish with chicken. It was slightly more sweet then desired. Sticky rice dessert with coconut custard won our hearts. Overall very pleasant experience. We highly recommend it you will not regret.

We arrived at 20:20 on Monday, but we was told the restaurant is closed. This is waste of my time. If their closing time is actually earlier than they show, I think they'd be better off putting the actual opening hours on a Google map rather than letting customers run for nothing.

I have been looking for a Thai place close to my home and I found it! The food is fresh and the portions are good for sharing. Delicious eating!

I've been to most or maybe all of the Thai restaurants in Evanston and this one is the most flavorful by far. I'll definitely be coming here again and again and again. Probably the best Tom Yum soup I've ever had.

4.2 stars...Reasonably priced Thai. Small storefront with shared parking. Handicapped spaces in front. All dishes we had were scrumptious. Satay was well seasoned and prepared. Noodle dishes and rice dishes were enjoyed by our group. Thai Iced tea always helps one enjoy the contrasting flavors and textures.

Great food! Cooked fresh. I always get to go and they get the order correct. Very nice family run business. I did notice a one star review from a customer, I looked into her history of reviews, and all I can say is, if your giving a one star review, why is every other review 4-5 stars? Well clearly she knows nothing about reviewing or Thai Food. I will I could review her and give her one star for being so odious to a good family run restaurant! Parolee Davis! Your a muppet. Anyway great place!

Very wonderful food! The Chicken Satay and Pad Thai were cooked to perfection and the Peanut Sauce was delicious as well. Friendly staff who are very welcoming to first timers. Reasonable prices on all food items. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

One of the worst things anyone can do is move someone when they finally got comfortable and are in the middle of eating their food.. my wife and I work 6 days out of the week and we finally got time to go eat somewhere and we could’ve been told there’s a big party coming in but no we had to end up eating our appetizers and in the middle had to move our table when foods in my mouth and ended up just taking our food to go.. super disappointed honestly
