Good brunch spot in Evanston. I had the chilaquiles, but I liked the corned beef hash my husband had ordered.

Okay I ordered Avocado toast and usually that's my go-to order in most breakfast places. This was probably one of the best Avo-toasts I had in the area. The portion sizes are good. Expect wait times during the weekends since it tends to get quite packed very quickly.

Holy moly! One of theeee best brunches I’ve ever had. Came in from Los Angeles for the weekend and was around the area and boy, glad I chose this spot. Everything was delicious. It’s in a cute little college town and parking was plenty just might not find free parking. But the wait wasn’t too bad, maybe 45 minutes on Sunday brunch time early. Worth it. Got their peach blueberry French toast (seasonal) and veggie hash (mandatory). Filling and plentiful but mainly, delicious. So sad we don’t have something as delicious in Los Angeles (and we got plenty of options) but this was just different. Definitely would back just for this.

My family of 5 had brunch here today for the first time and we loved the vibe of this place. The staff was friendly and the prices were great. The menu had tons of options for you to choose from and their portions are exceptional. I had the peach and blueberry french toast with vanilla mascarpone cheese.....who ever came up with this combination needs to know it was heavenly. The sweetness of the peaches, tart blueberries, fluffy brioche french toast made me feel like I was having a treat. And don't forget the homemade mascarpone on top, that alone was so light and flavorful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Unassuming mom and pop style diner. Extensive menu with prompt and friendly service. Truly efficient wait staff, the food was out within 10 minutes or less of us ordering. Place was filled with locals which is always an excellent sign. Enticing presentation with the waffles and a substantial omelet. The atmosphere was causal and comfortable. Highly recommended!

What a nice Brunch experience it was. The place is not too big so there will probably be a wait for a table but it is all worth it! Food was delicious and flavorful and drinks...not bed either! Service was very attentive with the smile.

Fridas is absolutely delicious! I cannot return sooner. They have a large menu with very generous portions. Each dish we had was presented beautifully and tasted great! The location is cozy and not too far from a safe parking garage. My next visit I’ll most certainly be ordering an additional meal or 2 to go!

I think this my new #1 breakfast/brunch place in Evanston! We ordered their banana french toast and the eggs dish (with pancake), and everything was pretty amazing. Probably the best french toast I've ever had in a while. It's usually pretty packed with people, so expect to wait in line during prime times on the weekend.

Food is 10/10 every time. They’re always super busy , which is because the food is so good. However, sometimes the service could be a bit better. They need a bigger space like le Peep (not hating on le peep, just saying they need a bigger space) and a few more servers It does get pretty loud and crowded. But again, the food is amazing and I dream about the chilaquiles and enchiladas suizas. Chorizo fundido was also so good and my sweet loving family and friends loved the crepes and French toast which looked decadent My kiddo also loves their rice and beans One other con, though- I asked to add chocolate chips to her Mickey Mouse pancakes and it was $2. I kinda feel like that should be just .50 or just optional. The coffee drinks came out to be expensive. Next time I’ll bring my own chocolate chips (jk)

Frida's is a fantastic breakfast and brunch spot in Evanston. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a trendy and modern decor. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from classic breakfast dishes to creative and unique brunch creations. The food at Frida's is outstanding. Each dish is expertly prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for fluffy pancakes, savory omelets, or indulgent French toast, Frida's has it all. The flavors are well-balanced, and the portion sizes are generous.

Breakfast was bomb! I ordered one of the specials...peach and berry French toast with granola and mascarpone. It was so freakin good 🤤 I will be putting granola on my French toast moving forward. Definitely recommend this place! Thought it was funny we were the only ones in there not drinking alcohol with breakfast on a Sunday morning. Mimosas next time! We will be back next time we're in the area for sure.

This place never dissapoints for breakfast/brunch. Their corned beef skillet is a nicely balanced blend of flavors.

Cozy little breakfast spot! A cozy little place just opposite to Evanston public library. I went on a weekend morning, and there was a big line. So make sure you have enough time in your hand, when you visit. We ordered egg Benedict and spinach mushroom omelet! Both were great and portion size was good! I did ask them to avoild the becon on the Benedict, but they did not, upon asking to change the dish, they just removed the becon and served the same dish to me.. i wish they didn’t do that, since i do not eat becon. Cant blame them, they were too busy to make another dish. Overall, it wasnt a bad experience.. If you go there, try their coffee as well!

This place is just an “ok” breakfast spot. The food was piping hot but lacked flavor. The service was also just “ok”. Not sure how this place has a higher star rating. I’d personally skip this place and find one of the other local spots to dine at. Maybe it was an off day for Frida’s.

busy sunday brunch. great and rich dishes in original american style - a little fatty for an european :) but then you are good for the entire day and it was really tasty. they also serve reasonable good cappuccino and espresso. the server was fast but not caring/talking too much - what i personally like in the mornings.

Wow, there are no words to describe how AMAZING this place was. From the beginning the waiters and staff made my family and I feel at home, the service was quick and the food is super yummy. Will definitely come back and share this amazing place! -much love from Jersey

This place was clean, their staffs were friendly and helpful. Wearing mask on the restroom was required 👍 . The restaurant was busy when we went for Sunday brunch but the waiting was not even 10 minutes. Food was very good. Tried their Rajas omelet and mango French toast, both were delicious.

Excellent food and large portions! Eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash was crispy but not burnt. Maybe I was lucky, but I think that this place is just that good. The restaurant itself is charming and they have a wide tea selection. Perfect place to eat before taking a walk along the lakefront.

Food was good but I was waiting to be wowed like people say and that never happened. A nice hardy breakfast spot in a nice spot in town. I will be back on a weekend to see if this review needs to be tweaked!

Loved sitting outside at Frida's. Husband had the mango margaritas and Azteca omelet. I had Merlot and Cobb salad. Will definitely come back.

I was BLOWN AWAY by this spot. First time visiting today and the food was unbelievablely good. Service was really quick and the staff was super friendly. I got a pork hash which had the best flavor and sauce. It was literally a culinary experience I can't recommend this place any higher! 👏🤤
