I always stock up on food, litter, treats and toys for my little fur baby boy from here (even tho he’s almost 2 years old now, he’s still my baby boy)! Staff are always helpful with stock and cashiers love a good chat about your pet, genuinely showing love for animals! I love my trips to this store, I get to have a brief chat about our beloved companions in the most lovely way with staff who all are pet owners so far too!! Makes a massive difference! Thank you all guys! Foxy is grateful too! 😍

Trusty place to find food and other things you need for your pets. We go there as they are one of the few places to stock the food our dogs like, and their puppy pads are the best value. They also have a very good dog grooming service at the back of the shop. It is not the cheapest, but they do a good job.

We went buy some cut food for street cats on our street and ended up with adopting this beautiful creature 😍😍😍 the best decision in our lifes

Me and my friend went today to have a look at getting some fish but we were clueless about what we would need, until one of the staff members, Kat, told us everything we need to know and more. She was incredibly helpful and informative and made our experience so lovely!

They have a good loose food/treats section. They are missing on having better gear for dogs. We were looking for harness, but everything was just not right... I really like this own brand shampoo and conditioner. It helps my dogs to keep theirs coats silky and clean.

If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely patronising staff member, talking to me like it's a job interview to own some fish. I've owned fish for years. Happy, healthy fish. But I talk to this guy and he won't even sell me a "beginner friendly" fish because I said something wrong in the "fish interview" absolutely ridiculous. Go somewhere else where they actually want to do business with you. How many fish have you actually sold in the last few years? 3?

The shop is cheap for pet toys but the staff are very hit and miss - some are friendly and helpful and some ain’t.. The male manger is rude and doesn’t seem to have much knowledge, the staff. I try not to use pets at home only for pet toys but nothing else

Friendly staff. And a great selection of products. Could be a little cheaper, though. Some items are very expensive compared with online prices. Especially aquarium accessories.

I visited this weekend for food for my new puppy, I bought a good toy for her too. Just like to say what great staff there are here, Charlotte spotted a new customer in me and suggested me joining up which gave me a massive saving on my food , very grateful for this at the mo. She wasn't fazed that it added time to her queue and dealt with me courteously and thoroughly , I noticed the other diligent staff just stepped in and started serving the queue, no one had to ask and all remained happy and helpful. Quite rare to see these days. Thanks all for a great experience. Definitely recommend 👌

Staff are helpful and interested in animals. The store is well-stocked with a wide range of products and their own label "Wainwright's" is good quality. Adequate car-park, but it can be busy at peak times. Join the VIP club for some useful discounts.

We come to this store everytime we need stuff for the dogs whilst at our caravan. It's always well stocked and has much more choice than my local one. Staff are polite and helpful too.

Came here to look a bunnies for my daughter . Clean and tidy .very busy so we had to wait for a while to chat to someone . She was very polite and helpful . I know she had to tell them what they have learnt but it went on and on . We were in there for ages. My daughter told her that she had already got one .

Good prices, friendly staff and a lot of products... but not many for rabbits which is why I go there. They also don't seem to ever give you a bag anymore which is a bit of a pain, especially as someone who doesn't drive and isn't able to

This store is well stocked and the staff are very welcoming and patient with their customers. I haven't used there vet's so I cannot comment on this subject. Like most pet's store's I find that they're a little expensive on most of their products which is a shame they know that people are struggling with the cost of living surely they could do better deals on all their pets products.

Rude as girl on till too busy on her phone to actually serve us and when she did serve us she threw everything on the counter snatched money and threw the change at us. When I told another member of staff she replied with oh right no apologies nothing

Good pets shop. However they don't always have a reliable supply of live food, it's worth calling ahead if you're shopping for that

Not really buying fish here. I have been to comfort creatures and mike’s aquarium and bought fish woth no problem.Even i ordered fish in aquatics at your door with overnight delivery. Here, my gosh, they will not put fish in the bag until my uber is 5minute away. Strict with no point-USELESS, fish will still travel by uber…. So why refuse to bag it immediately!!! What s head!!! I regret the day i bought from your store. You think you are better than those aquatic shops!!! Pwwweeeeeh

We arranged for the cremation of our cat through companion care based in pets at home. The stores are always well stocked and cater to many different pets. The staff are friendly and approachable. The service with companion care was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Helpful staff. Very informative on the hamster cage setups and detailed guides on how to nurture your new pets. Staff seemed genuinely interested and the selection on everything seems good. However they do sell toys and equipment which is harmful and hazardous to the smaller pets such as hamster balls and some toys contain glue, but the staff were clued in and gave genuine recommendations.

I took my 10 year old granddaughter to Pets at Home yesterday. She wanted to see the baby Guinea Pigs. We were very impressed by everything that we saw there. The babies were very cute and appeared to be happy, although rather shy, which is not surprising. They are housed in very clean and comfortable conditions, just like everything else we saw. My granddaughter already has two elderly Guinea Pigs and she was thinking of the future. It's very obvious that the staff take great care of all the animals and fish. For example, you are invited to take a sample of the water from your fish tank for testing to make certain that it's suitable. A very pleasant experience.

My daughter really needed a wee whilst we were in there and Charlotte let us use the staff toilet which was very kind - great customer service!!!
