Trying this again since my first review was not posted. Company must have paid to have it not show up. Hannah was my stylist. She screwed up my haircut (I wanted a “v” cut) and she raves about how good she was at cutting that particular cut. It looked good when curled but when I got home and straightened it was unbelievably choppy. I paid $175 PLUS a $20 tip. I could’ve done a better job myself. The “highlights” she put in my hair were almost non existent. She also got hair dye on my favorite shirt and neglected to say anything about it or offer tips for getting the stain out. Another stylist helped her take pictures of my hair and she didn’t say anything either. The stain is visible in the pictures so I know for a fact it was seen by both of them. Completely unprofessional and did a horrible job on my hair. Would not recommend this place at all. Wouldn’t go back if someone paid me.

The pandemic destroyed my hair, Johan has been bringing it back to life. Years of box dying my greys and poor product choices had my hair looking and feeling hopeless. In fact, Johan counted at least 4 different shades of box dye in my hair the first time I met him at the salon. Today was the 4th time I've gone in and it's getting way healthier. He's not going to push products at you so you've got to ask him what he recommends for your hair type/situation and take his advice. I don't know how their pricing compares to other salons, or if he charges more because he's better, but either way, it's worth it. My advice, if your hair is in bad shape, is to ask him what he recommends and go with it.

You have to get your highlights from Johan! My hair looks incredible and so natural! He is a Master Stylist and once you make an appointment with him you won't let anyone else do your hair!!

I had the most amazing time at the hands of Master Stylist Johan Aza. At my consultation, I told him I have been very dissapointed w my previous haircuts and Balayage. Immediately I knew he was an expert when he told me what he could do to help me. The result was evidence that he catered to my needs. Needless to say I am very happy with my transformation. I also received instruction on how to hair for my hair and his product recommendations made my treated hair baby soft. It was totally worth it to take the 4hr trip to San Antonio!!!

I have been getting my hair done by Johan for years and I am never disappointed ! I travel many hours just to get my hair done by him! His technique with the balayage is amazing and definitely recommend him every time I get compliments :) He also has gentle hands and I feel relaxed when he does my hair! In this pictures I have the butterfly haircut and a special balayage technique he did on my hair! I love it !

I have been going to Johan for the past 5 years out of his 12 years in the hair business and he always knows exactly what to do! He is very personable and goes above and beyond to make sure that I love the outcome of my hair every time. Every haircut and color he has done for me is always the best and I am obsessed with every look. If you are looking for a totally new style and look then Johan is the person to ask for at the Alamo Heights location!

Johan is amazing! I wanted a balayage before I go on vacation soon and he gave me exactly what I wanted but better! I will definitely have to go back to him next time because he’s honestly the best. I went because there was a post saying he was an expert at a balayage and he did not disappoint. :) Thank you for making me and so many others feel beautiful!

Johan does amazing work that will never disappoint you, he always knows what color will work for you. He shows a lot of creativity and passion in his work and loves what he does. Every time I have gone in for a change, he has always blown my mind with the ending result and I am forever grateful for his talent and creative ways. I have come to see Johan for 7 years and his creativity has always amazed me. He is the reason that I get compliments on my hair all the time even at the grocery store.
