The quality control in this restaurant has gone out the window. Went to eat here first they served us drinks that had no syrup in them you could tell by looking at them how watery they looked, then one of the people in our group got the steak the ordered and it was pretty much just about raw (asked for well done) then when they brought out the food they didn't bring out my fries and said they would be right out fast forward 45 minutes later and I had to ask if they were going to bring them out. I won't be back here for a while 3 strikes in one visit. They need better management and quality control I've never gone out to eat and had this many issues In one visit.

I have wrote a great review here two separate times for amazing food and service but sadly tonight was way different. We ordered our favourite being the Fettuccine and Broccoli Alfredo and the Three Cheese Penne Pasta as well as food for our son and we didn't taste his but both of our pasta was just bad. Mine wasn't creamy or cheesy at all. Half the noodles were just plain noodles didn't even seem like salt and the sauce was more liquid than sauce. The cheese wasn't even melted on top of it. The chicken was also strange. I found a piece of breaded chicken in mine and none of us ordered anything with breaded chicken so that was off-putting. My husband's also wasn't good and his chicken was so hard in some parts it would be hard to bite. We've had these dishes before and they were amazing I'm not sure what happened. Our server never asked us how the food was and when we asked for the check not long into our meal with more than half full plates on the table she didn't ask if everything was okay. We didn't want to be a bother so we just paid and left because today is my husbands birthday so that made the disappointment even stronger tonight. I'm posting a photo showing what we left over because we truly felt we were better off going home and having something else. Even the couple next to me stated their food wasn't very good tonight and they ordered pasta as well. I don't know if this is just a bad night for them or what but we will give this Applebee's another chance. The male servers have always been great with us. Thanks for reading.

Visited twice within a couple of days. Applebee's is a safe go-to place. Food is reliably good. Unfortunately, our first visit was a 5/5 visit (thank you server Jen!) and our visit last night was a -5/5. Our server was so interested in hanging out chatting with her friend eating alone at a corner table than checking on our food. We ordered an appetizer that took 40 minutes to arrive. I am pretty sure she forgot to put in our order. Whatever happened, the sampler platter arrived lukewarm. Mmm, chewy mozz sticks, gummy boneless wings, and we didn't get the dip sauce we asked for. Entrées eventually show up. I am not sure what is going on with the potato situation at this Applebee's. I was surprised by the very small fry portion but figured it was a one-off. The fry situation is dire. I personally am not a huge fry fan so no big. But my husband loves his fries and paid the 1.99 upcharge and got 9 waffle fries. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, unfortunately I was so stressed by this time I couldn't eat and instead brought it home. I ate the chicken portion later and it was ok. My husband ordered the double burger and received burned, dried out, gray pucks with shredded lettuce stuffed in the bottom to hide the concavity. Black char and burned cheese haloed the edges. It was disgusting but not wanting to risk kitchen revenge by sending it back he drenched it in ketchup and choked it down. Our server finally returns (food was delivered by others - one who commented that the order was on the wrong table) and asks how everything is. My husband said, "Well, to be honest horrible, this was the worst burger I have ever eaten." The manager was sent over and we explained the food situation (didn't complain about the poor service). My husband had ordered the same meal in our first visit and enjoyed it so much he ordered it this time. The manager's response "different cook." He comped the burger (not the waffle fries) and we left. Our business doesn't mean much but we probably won't be back for a while.

I travel for work and have eaten at a lot of different Applebees. This one was the worst I've been to. We ordered from curbside. I'm not sure what the point of specifying the make, model and color of your vehicle is there, because while we were waiting, there were 3 different vehicles that showed up, all 3 different colors, different makes, and different models, yet the person doing curbside brought all 3 the wrong order. When we finally got our correct order, we asked if there was plastic ware in the bag. He said no but he'd go get us some, came back with like 10 sets, there was only 2 of us. My steak was like a hockey puck. I definitely couldn't cut it, could barely even bite through it. My dog, who is not a picky eater, even snubbed her nose at it. The broccoli with it was also barely edible. I will definitely not be going back to the Applebees in Oxford, ME.

Have been coming here for awhile and the atmosphere is always good! I know training takes time and we don't mind a little wait for good service but the speed has picked up alot since our last two visits and tonight's was the fastest by far! Our server Miranda was so great! Wonderful hostess, food was awesome, drinks were great, can't ask for more! Something is going right here, thanks for a great dinner out with the family!

No wait to be seated and our appetizers were and drinks were ordered right away. The food was good and served hot by attentive and friendly staff. We'd stop here again when in the area. Bon appetit

Food was cold when we recieved it, but we listened to the app and were waiting like it said. Bummer for that woukd have been noce if the restaurant called to say hey no need to wait 50 mins like app says or keep food hot till customer arrives!!

11:50 just before lunch time… check in, was told wait would be 20-25 min (place was almost empty) 12:42 finally got a table. 12:55 saw our waiter for the first time. Instantly ordered all drinks/food. 1:25 waiter came out and said my meal was wrong (they accidentally put mushrooms on my chicken when i told them I had an allergy) they remade the food. Came out 10 mins later ONCE AGAIN MUSHROOMS!! Wasted nearly 2 hours of time… onFATHERS DAY.. all they offered was -$15 credit… which of course i shouldnt have had to pay anyways! Great lunch and great experience… not

Applebees is one of the places you expect mid-grade. When I went the other night I brought up my shellfish allergy to my waiter who went to his manager to have her come talk to me. She was not very nice and seemed like it was a chore to make sure my food was safe for me to eat. After asking her what to stay away from on the menu she neglected to tell me that their brew pub pretzels and their BREADSTICKS (which I have no idea why they would deep fry breadsticks) were fried in the same fryer as shellfish. When I asked my waiter how they are cooked he came back with a big smile on his face and said “they come out of a freezer box, deep fried and rolled in salt” and I couldn’t believe the actual stupidity. After he explained that to me I said “okay so with the shellfish I’m allergic to?” And he stepped back and said “oh my god I have a friend that if that happened to him he’d die” way to make me feel better when I’m already freaking out. These items were not brought up that they were deep fried. Not only, the kitchen knew of my allergy which makes me wonder who has the knowledge of food allergies and who can really cook. This place is SO unprofessional, thankfully I didn’t eat enough to have a big reaction but they could’ve really put someone’s life at risk for their lack of food safety. I will NEVER be coming back to this Applebees again.

New wait person today. Her name is Michelle definitely the best service I have ever received. She took her time and even read our order back our order!!

I had the rib eye plate with extra brocolli. Brocolli was not cooked. Rib eye was well done. I asked for medium. Way to much seasoning extremely salty. Appetizers were ok. Left my waitress a 75.00 gift card. Told her to keep the remainder. Manager was pleasant and did try to make it right.. I just will NEVER eat there again. Manager and waitress were nice. Happy New Year.

Ordered take out last night. The food was very tasty and packaged with care. The folks there were friendly and respectful. Great experience

After ordering our drinks and dinner we noticed a card on the table that says if our waiter doesn't suggest a perfect margarita we get a free appetizer on our next visit. When the waitress came back with our meals I point to the card and say I guess we get a free appetizer. The waitress turns the card around and says oh that's for after dinner and walked away. Dinner came and went with no perfect margarita suggestions and no free appetizer voucher. I should have pushed the issue but didn't want to make a scene.

How was the service IT WASN'T !How long should we sit and wait while the bar tender talks and we are told how busy she is! Glad there was a very nice restaurant down the road,with great service and good food.
