Our first ever road trip in our New Age caravan was to Hawkesbury Riverside Gardens, and we loved every minute. Brad and Linda were amazing to deal with and very helpful. So peaceful, with well kept gardens. Great entertaining area and close to IGA and surrounding shops in Windsor & Richmond if you need anything. Awesome!

The grounds are clean and tidy camp kitchen was new and good area for large groups, however the BBQ ran out of gas after breakfast on Saturday morning and wasn't refilled until that night after several complaints from campers. The amenities block were a little old and use tank water which comes out brownish in color and has an unpleasant odor, the tolites and showers are not cleaned over the weekend so got progressively worse but most of the campers tidied up after themselves so still useable. During our stay the fellow patrons were fun and friendly, the site manager however was an unpleasant person to deal with. She would kick kids out of the pool area for "breaking rules" that weren't posted anywhere nor in the campground rules you are provided upon entry, on multiple occasions she had yelling matches with campers at the pool and common areas in full view of the everyone. She also locked the pool area due to ongoing issues she was having with a few groups that were staying at the park, meaning no one could use this popular feature of the campground. When she patrolled the grounds she was constantly drinking a beer while driving a small motorized cart around with children and families nearby. There is a vending machine however it doesn't give change regardless the denomination of money used. They also had no ice for the entire weekend although they had advertised otherwise. The grounds are good, it's just unfortunate that the management is unable to maintain them or deal with the patrons in a clam and professional manner. We won't be returning until there is a change of management.

We found Susie to be extremely friendly and helpful to provide a decent camping ground that is next to the Hawkesbury River for fishing, kayaking or boating but primarily water skiing. The grass was lush, pool was clean, childrenโ€™s play ground was brand new, communal outdoor kitchen provide all the needs that youโ€™d need & there is an outdoor TV to watch the grand final under an awning. We all enjoyed our experience at this location and would like to visit again in this season coming up.

Beautiful surroundings, management most accommodating,. Children had a great time, playing on the playground, swimming in the pool, fishing, and, just running free. Adults had a great time too. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back. Money well spent.

Our first visit over the weekend in our caravan was fantastic. Well kept grassy areas, plenty of shade. Even with the boat ramp right there, it was very quiet. We would recommend it.

What I was disappointed about is the charge per adult $15 and children under 14 $5 for visiting someone that is staying at the park.I was visiting my nephew who with his family was spending the weekend at the caravan park. For this visit I paid $15 and for what to breath the air ?I bought my own water I didn't swim or use the river so for what reason is the $15 charged? The park is well appointed and also provides cabins there is a child's playground a BBQ area which is very well appointed a swimming pool and a very short walk along the river a good place to do nothing Could imagine in peak season that it would be quite busy with little or no room to breath But to charge as a visitor I think is wrong Pets are not allowed although I did see two poodles being walked so don't know what dispensation they received maybe paid as a visitor!

We use the parks boat ramp to put our boat in and take the family biscuiting on the Nepean river. It is much more convenient and beats the crowds of Windsor boat ramp. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

We booked in for a weekend a couple of months ago with our caravan and we got there quite late at night on a Friday night. The sign to the place was not very well lit for a night time arrival)& were woken to the sounds of workmen drilling Sawing hammering drilling, knocking down demountables in the park. We were never told about this and it went on all day Saturday and Sunday. The toilet/bathroom/shower facilities were quite run down and dilapidated and not particularily clean, but I think there is some serious money being spent on the place (the new barbecue area wasca dream!!) so it should be a lot better now than what it was. We didn't find the staff particularly engaging or empathetic about our little problem. Our experience has not particularily pleasant but I hope in the last 6 months or so the place had some major Improvements in both attitude and facilities. We will give it the benefit of the doubt but leave it at three stars for the moment.
