While travelling through Lightning Ridge some years ago we had the opportunity to buy a lovely opal. Finally, just before Christmas 2022 we took it to Aharoni to have it set. We could not be happier with the result. They took what I would consider a quite awkwardly shaped stone and teased it into a show piece. Nurit helped us with the stunning design and Eitan's outstanding workmanship produced an heirloom. Many thanks to the Aharoni team for their care, advice and skill.

Eytan and Nurit worked with me to design and create the perfect engagement ring for my fiancée. They listened to me, worked within my budget, and provided the GIA certificate for the diamond. Their pricing is transparent and they explain everything for you so you don’t feel like you’re being ripped off. They made the wedding bands perfectly and quite quickly, and Eytan even resized mine in a few days at no extra cost when it didn’t fit perfectly. While making the wedding bands, Eytan cleaned my fiancée’s engagement ring for free. They are a pleasure to deal with and take genuine pride in their work, which is spectacular. They work with you to make your ideas reality, and give you helpful guidance without trying to force their own preferences onto you. Their customer service is fantastic. Nurit especially takes a genuine interest in every single customer. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have their wedding jewellery made.

After talking to three different jewellers, I entrusted Eytan and Nurit with making a customised ring for me out of my mother’s engagement ring and my father’s signet ring. In talking to Nurit about options, I immediately felt that she was on my wave length. She understood how precious my parents’ rings were to me and my desire to wear something unique and beautiful that came from them. She listened to me and my preferences very carefully, and all of her suggestions were good ones. The result was stunning, including a highlight of Eytan’s Mokeme Gane work, which added to the uniqueness. Having such a good experience with my parents’ rings, I was inspired to bring all of my unused pieces of jewelry in for a makeover – things I never wear were turned into something I wear regularly, missing stones were replaced, lost halves of earrings were matched and turned into something better. And chatting with Nurit about the pieces was always delightful, as she enjoys hearing the stories behind them – how and where they were acquired; what different pieces meant to me… Eytan is charming, and his work impressive. Plus I like the informal and family feel of the business. The whole experience felt so friendly and personal. Old-world charm in ultra-modern facilities.

I recently purchased a hand crafted engagement ring from Aharoni jewellers and I honestly couldn't be happier with the end product. Eytan, Nurit and Daniel are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate jewellers who take immense pride in their work. They have an amazing collection of gemstones from which to select, but were also uniquely flexible and accommodating of me when I wanted to use a familial gemstone with sentimental value. They managed to obtain some truly outstanding and unique diamonds to accompany this gemstone, and were extremely receptive of my requests throughout the entire process. I was also amazed by how quickly they crafted the ring. The end product was ready just three weeks after I paid my deposit - most commercial jewellers take much longer even just to resize a ring, let alone creating a unique piece of jewellery. Most importantly, they are a genuine family run business, who care deeply about their craft. It is rare to come across a family owned business which takes as much pride in their work as they do. With them, you get the option to choose from their store of beautiful stones and they have endless patience. The ring I ended with is absolutely beautiful, the highest quality and perfectly suited to me. We recently had two pieces of jewellery crafted for us using an opal we had purchased and a diamond from an older ring. The resulting pendant shows off the opal to perfection in a Mokume Gane setting that is modern and elegant. The new ring features the diamond in an open bezel with an opposing Mokume Gane bezel - an outstanding piece. The entire experience with Eytan, Nurit and Daniel was a joy and a pleasure.

The diversity and quality of gem-based jewellery here is the best in the Canberra region that I’m aware of. People come from interstate specifically to visit this shop. I bought an engagement ring with a natural unheated ruby which I am extremely happy with.
