Quaint little cafe in marrickville with good coffee and cosy atmosphere. The dishes were presented well in terms of plating and colour. I really wanted to fall in love with the unique thin bagel .. however, it missed the mark due to not being crispy. I would assume that due to being prepared in advance, the wet ingredients have gradually dampened the bagel dough. Although the bagel sandwich appeared to be reheated on the press, it lacked the crispiness and baked texture. The chicken pita sandwich was a bit difficult to eat. Although the freshness from herbs & pickles were appreciated, unfortunately, the chicken inside was very dry. Ending on a high note, not only was the coffee really good, it was $2 with the meal (as a current running deal). I’m not sure whether we ordered the wrong things on the wrong day but I’d be keen to try the croissants next time while grabbing a coffee ☺️

Ordered the salad for lunch takeaway and was rewarded with mostly leaves drowned in dressing. Not at all what was shown in the menu picture and when I asked them why there was not more to the plate, they asked if “wanted some cauliflower” on it. Sixteen dollars wasted. If a customer is giving you honest, constructive feedback it would be nice to be answered with a solution in mind.

Stopped by this place for the first time. I purchased a take away coffee but, noticed a wonderful ambience this establishment has. I really enjoyed the coffee, and will definitely be back to grab a bite to eat. PS: 29/3/23 have been back many times now, coffee is fantastic, John is a great guy. Will definitely try the food, menu looks appetizing.

Had a lovely shawarma sandwich that was made special for me since they had temporarily run out of pitas. It had all the right flavors and really hit the spot. The owner was super friendly and i felt very welcome. Will definitely come back!

A local friendly cafe that serves great coffee and delicious bagels and banana bread. I've had oat lattes from all over Marrickville and humble Drip Trip definitely has the best! Always met with a smile too 😌😌

I go here every day for coffee before work and occasionally on Saturdays for lunch. The food is excellent and the soy lattes are consistently great, which cannot be said of some other cafes in the vicinity. The owner is lovely and makes everyone feel welcome.

Adding another vote for the cauliflower/pickle/veg pide. So good. Filling and flavoursome. The campos is good and it's a nice little oasis to sit on busy Sydenham road. 👌

The coffee is sensational and most importantly consistent. Great customer service from the owner and good food. Everything is always fresh and made in house. He changes the menu up, and keeps it interesting. Not your average cafe food. Well done highly recommend drip trip !

Ordered on Ubereats, very dishonest with their photo choice. For bagels, they stack 3 on top of each other which made the 1 bagel cut in half that arrived a huge let down. Maybe it's time to change your photos to reflect the actual product. And don't get me started on the taste of the flat dry 'biscuit' that costs $10 each.

Cannot boast enough about this tiny Cafe on Sydenham Road. The hot chocolate and coffee is brewed with love and their specials are amazing *the bagel of the day with a regular coffee for $9.90*. They clearly have a local following and the staff are friendly and personable. Give the three varieties of Bereks a go -scrumptious.
