Incredible views and splendid "Batik" artwork. It was great to speak with the owner and get a solid history lesson on the area and how it came to be as splendid as it is! Would love to visit again!

Caribelle Batik Plantation was another stop. We were able to see how beautiful batiks are made. Now I gave understanding as to why batik fabrics are so expensive. The grounds are stunning! The road to the plantation was very narrow and curvy.

Beautiful hand done batik. Very friendly staff. Colorful well kept grounds. Clean bathroom. There are nice chairs inside and out for men to wait and relax. It is right next to the Rum distillery

Wunderschöner Garten. Nicht sehr gross. Riesige Auswahl an Batik Artikel. Leider total überteuert. Eintritt 3 Dollar. Warum es Eintritt kostet habe ich nicht verstanden. Es lohnt sich trotzdem auf einen Abstecher, wenn man in der Nähe ist. Extra hinfahren brauch man nicht.

Interesting live demo of the process of Batik printing right at the front of the store. The store carries various clothings, accessories, and home decor items made from batik print fabric. Colorful patterns both abstract and of historical icons are striking. There is also a small refreshment stall which sells cold drinks, chips, rum, and rum infused fruit juices.

They provide a great demo to learn about the process. We got some wraps as the dresses didn't fit me well. It is inside Romney Manor, which charges $3 to enter. There is another store within the cruise port if you don't want to pay.

A narrow drive leads to beautiful grounds and gardens where you can learn about the process of batik dying. There is s very nice gift shop where you can purchase a variety of hand dyed items.

Check website for opening times and days! Out of peak periods it is shut on weekends! Beautiful, bright, varied, manicured gardens with views and small paths in the rainforest. It only takes around 30 minutes to walk around and see everything, but there is a bar and really nice gift shop if you want to relax and spend more time there. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is stairs in a few places, so those with mobility issues may struggle a bit. Car parking but free but drive super slow as the road is very bumpy and uneven to access. Loved it here - like a small slice of paradise.

So this was my wife and daughters favorite star. It had a beautiful location, wonderfully nice people and a very interesting demonstration on how they make their products when you get there. They say they charge admission but they didn’t. When you get there you walk through these beautiful grounds with flowers and beautiful views of the water. This is a must do for Saint kits. It is not cheap but the products are well worth their while. My wife has worn their outfits every day which since we arrive. They only sell their stuff at their main store which is this location and one near the port where the cruise ships come in. But this is the big store where they do the demonstration. It is a must see! Bring your wallet. The colors of their fabric are very vibrant. And we wash them while we were here at our room and they wash very nicely. They get softer the more you wash them.

Lovely shirts, dresses, beautiful old, very large 'old' master class tree. Pleasant small garden. St. Kitts. Recommended.

When we got here at 4pm it was already closed, very disappointed. But we were still able to see part of the grounds and it was beautiful. Lots of great photo ops, but we didn't stay. I wish I had taken a panoramic video. We will definitely come back when it's open.

The grounds are amazingly beautiful. Great for photo ops. There is a small entrance fee (I don't remember how much), but it's worth it. Learn a little about the history of St. Kitts and Nevis, sit and have a drink, and enjoy the scenery. Get there early before the crowds. especially if there's a cruise ship in port.

Beautiful flowered grounds. Lovely batik products for sale. Cool rum drinks available at small store. 500 year old tree was amazing.

Purchased 2 lovely items; a sarong for me and a shirt for my fellow. Just the items are 5 Star. Given that the Manor is just a garden around the shop, why not offer a rebate of admission if you make a purchase? Lots of shops do that in visitor settings. I had thought that there was more than just a few plants and flowers but staff were not able to direct me to any other spots of interest beyond the cafe/bar and overlook.

My wife and I visited Caribelle Batik in the first week of February. It's amazing to see how they hand make the patterns and images. Quite a lot of work, especially the multi-colored and more complex pieces. My wife really enjoys the two sailing ship images we picked up. Well worth the time to visit.

We did a "Back of the House" Tour at Caribelle Batik and even got to make our own batik. It was fascinating and really the highlight of our cruise excursions. The ground are beautiful and the batiks are beautiful but to be able to go behind the scenes and see how they are done and then make your own is really the best experience and it was such a reasonable price!

Possibly the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Our tour guide was funny and... thank the good lord..a skilled driver!

I had purchased some Batik material from my Grandmother's homeland (St. Kitts), and wanted to create something special out of it. I decided on a dressing gown, and had my local dressmaker make what is a magnificent garment. I'm thrilled with the result. It's stunning and unique. I'd recommend anybody purchasing some of their beautiful pieces of material should they not have what you want, and have your desired piece custom made.

The grounds at this former estate are perfectly manicured and well worth the visit. They also have beautiful hand made batiks made into all sorts of clothing and other wares.

Beautiful wearable and traditional works of art displayed in a historical manor and lush gardens. Artists demonstrate how their skills are used to make these vividly colored prints. The gardens and surrounding grounds are just as colorful. Small entrance fee well worth the price.
