A
group
of
7
of
us
decided
to
give
it
a
go
and
we
had
a
great
time.
Finding
the
place
is
a
bit
of
a
challenge
but
once
you
turn
off
the
Old
Town
Road
keep
going
uphill,
through
the
houses
and
abandoned
cars
and
near
the
top
bear
right.
We
turned
up
on
the
off
chance
without
booking
and
were
lucky
as
there
was
a
planned
trip
due
in
20
minutes
where
a
family
of
4
had
pre
booked
so
we
were
added
to
their
trip.
The
zip
line
closes
at
2pm
so
make
sure
you
get
there
before
noon
to
be
sure
if
you
want
to
go
uncooked
but
we
now
know
it
is
best
to
book
plus
the
Zip
Line
company
provide
transport
from
the
main
hotels.
We
had
gone
by
car.
Every
day
is
a
school
day.
We
completed
registration,
got
weighed,
listened
to
the
health
and
safety
disclaimer
talk
and
signed
our
lives
away!
We
then
got
given
our
harnesses,
helmets
and
trolley
and
taught
how
to
use
it
all
on
the
training
line
by
the
office.
After
that
we
were
loaded
into
the
back
of
a
flatbed
truck
and
made
our
way
up
a
narrow,
muddy
and
bumpy
track
to
the
start
of
the
top
line.
From
there
we
zipped
through
the
tree
tops,
zig
zagging
across
the
valley
on
a
series
of
5
lines.
The
last
one
ended
at
the
office
just
in
ti,e
for
a
refreshing
fruit
smoothie
from
the
onsite
kiosk.
Despite
some
initial
nerves
on
the
part
of
some
by
the
time
everyone
had
done
the
second
line
everyone
relaxed
and
became
a
lot
more
animated.
Next
to
the
office
is
the
ruins
of
an
old
sugar
cane
mill
with
a
lot
of
informative
notices
and
well
worth
a
look
around.
It's
free.
My
one
criticism
is
that
once
you
return
to
the
office
some
locals
approach
you
with
small
monkeys
in
nappies
and
invite
you
to
stroke
them,
be
photographed
with
them
etc.
at
a
price.
They
dont
mention
that
these
monkeys
are
kept
drugged
to
prevent
them
biting
or
scratching
people,
they
should
be
with
their
troop
and
once
they
get
too
big
or
unmanageable
or
dropped
out
they
will
be
abandoned
to
die
as
they
will
be
outcasts.
It
would
be
good
if
the
zip
line
people
could
get
rid
of
these
people.
