Sid's Restaurant is a classic road diner that serves delicious local American food. The menu offers a variety of traditional dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Overall, my experience at Sid's was enjoyable, with true diner atmosphere.

Stopped here on our way through. The food was very good, but the service was great! Our server, I cantvremember his name, was very nice and did a great job checking on us and keeping our drinks full. I got the fried chicken (so much food, I ended up sharing with everyone) with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, and garlic bread! My husband got the patty melt and fries, one of my boys got a burger, one got the tuna melt with potato salad, and our daughter got the Chicken Alfredo.

Great All-american food! Fills you up and doesn't let you down. Service that cares and pays attention to what you do and don't want. That's what I like and what I base my tips on. A+ in my book!!

Nice American diner. Ordered the Santa Rosa sandwich. Great combination of roast beef, grilled peppers, onions & mushrooms with jack cheese. The made a small bowl of fry sauce special for us on request. The building is older but don't let that stop you. It's a great option for dining in Winnemucca.

We were traveling thru town (Aug. 2023) and wanted a straightforward American-style restaurant for supper... and Sid's filled that bill perfectly. Friendly staff with prompt service, a very good menu & delicious food. We'll visit here again on our return trip. 👍👍

Not a bad place to get breakfast. 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and biscuit for a bit over $20 - seems high, but I don't know the area, so it's likely average

Cleanest Restaurant I’ve been in , in years. Staff very professional and friendly. Had the French Dip with French fries (fries were soggy as if sitting in the oil of the basket of the fryer). However, the waitress said she would replace them but, I refused. She did adjust the bill and I will definitely be back the next time thru the area.

Great spot to stop at. Very clean, friendly service and delicious food! Great American diner food. I had the club and enjoyed it! It also included avocado which was a nice addition.

If your passing by I strongly suggest this spot!!! 4th of July right after the parade tons of pp but u wouldn’t be able to tell with such a wonderful staff. I especially give major props to the two cooks that prepared ours and everyone there not only did it come quickly but tasty. (My eggs I’m so particular and they were perfect 👌🏽)

Good old American dinner with burgers, sandwiches, real salads, and breakfast all day. Great place to grab a bite on your travels as food quality was good. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the kitchen was fast. Good place as well to feed hungry kids as they breakfast.

Food and service was great! Everything was well stocked (creamer, ketchup etc). The bathroom was clean and well stocked too. Great place to stop on our journey. They also had a table set in honor of our fallen 13. Loved that!

We ate both dinner and breakfast there on our way to Utah and on our way back to California. We were looking for a place with comfort home cooked meals. Sid's place was perfect. The service was well above perfect. George our server on the way home was great. The food was outstanding. Homemade salad dressing and biscuits were fantastic. We will be back on our trip next year to Utah.

Service was superior. Food was only acceptable. Winnemucca only has a few options for food and Sid's Diner was expensive for the quality and amount provided. Next time passing through town we'll probably choose Fast Food.

This place is worth the 3 hour drive from Yerington. Feels like family every time. The Cajun chicken salad was phenomenal!!! Stay away from the chili & onion burger, can chili sucks.

Guys.... The fried chicken here is THE BEST I've EVER had, and as an OTR truck driver I've tried many different spots. Crunchy, but not too thickly breaded. Seasoned just right. Mashed potatoes are homemade, garlic toast well you can't go wrong with garlic toast 😋, and a very fresh side salad with a creamy ranch which also tastes like in house dressing. I'll definitely be stopping here again, and to my fellow truck drivers. Park at the flying J down the road and walk a quarter mile to this joint. You'll get your exercise AND an amazing dinner 😉

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Oregon, and I'm so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was the sweetest girl ever! I don't remember her name but she was the only server in the dining area at 6am. The shrimp rancheros was delicious. We will definitely only come here every time we drive through town!
