Building and grounds appeared free of debris and well maintained upon arrival. Warmly welcomed upon entry. Our table was bussed but not wiped down, our server immediately addressed it. Immediately served waters and ordered coffee, we didn't mind waiting for a fresh pot. I ordered the chicken fried steak. It arrived hot, fresh and extremely flavorful. My companion ordered the crepes, they must have been good as she never offered a bite and instead quickly inhaled them with reckless abandonment. While l wasn't overly impressed with this place when we walked in, the service and the food soon had me changing my tune. While not the best food I've ever eaten, it was darn good food that hit the spot. While the service was good, l most appreciated the genuine level of hospitality that we experienced. I felt welcomed and valued, something rarely felt in the post pandemic world where indifference and mediocrity rule supreme.

I'm certain that my praise for this establishment is not needed... Still... Here yah go. To those that know this place... You know the gem that this place is. To those that have not yet experienced this establishment, what are you waiting for? This establishment offers 99% of all the great things an eating establishment can offer (as to the one percent later). A simple note at the beginning... this establishment seems very well connected to the community it serves and seems supportive of activities that impact it's community (we noted an opportunity to donate to a local charity). Well done! Ambiance and physical structure... Clean, cozy, inviting, well maintained and appointed, and roomy where needed with good traffic flow. Staff... Amazing! Polite, professional while still being relaxed, informed, and close enough to address any concerns and needs one may have, without the offense of over engagement. The other noted performance highlight is that the wait staff acts in concert helping each other and addressing customer needs, irregardless of who's table it might be. Food... OMG... Taste, quality and freshness of ingredients, and presentation are top of the line!!! We had our items off the breakfast menu. We were not disappointed... It wasn't even close! Chilaquiles and red velvet hash - fresh, appropriately seasoned, and simply delicious! Don't pass on the opportunity to try the fresh made jellies! The coffee was great to the point that we bought an additional pound to take with us. In short (or long) don't miss an opportunity too experience this adventure! As for the 1%... The sourdough toast and homemade jellies were amazing (strawberry and mango!!!!), Please, please, please... Don't serve me dry toast, butter my toast when it's served (or at least ask if we'd like it buttered). We will definitely tell others and this great experience, and we will be back!! Thank you for your efforts!

Great service! Fresh squeezed oj to start. Ordered the Eggs Benedict. Eggs were perfect. Cut into the yoke nice and runny. Real ham not pressed. Hash browns cooked perfectly crisp. I think Gordon Ramsay will agree ;) all is fairly priced. Great atmosphere super clean. Might be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Open from 6 to 2.

Betzeda was our server she was awesome and attentive. The food was so delicious and fresh! Being a trucker it’s hard to find fresh good places to eat. This place was beyond great. Food came to table fresh warm and fast and they had a pretty large crowd! Beautiful hanging plants and an outdoor patio as well. With plenty of parking!Amazing will be back !soon! Thanks Griddle and Betzeda!

Traveling back home from California to Washington, we stopped at the Griddle. Walking in, my fiance and I were already enticed by the atmosphere. The place was busy but functionally so, with almost all members of the staff walking around with a smile. The decor of stained glass pieces and hanging plants made for a very homey and comforting vibe. Vanessa was our server and she was incredibly attentive and helpful. They were out of milk substitutions, so when I ordered my coffee and wanted oat milk, she had recommended a place across the street that serves coffee to grab something on our way out. With nine more hours to go of driving I was incredibly grateful. It was incredibly difficult to choose as all the menu items looked delicious and seeing the different plates sent out made it even harder. We ordered the savory crepe and the carribbean french toast and we were not disappointed. 10/10 would recommend this place for a delicious breakfast!

Just had the best breakfast of my life. The chef is obviously talented as not only were the omelettes and Caribbean french toast perfectly cooked they were also beautifully presented and the portions were large. The French toast was delightfully crisp with toasted coconut on the outside and rich in the center and the omelettes were thick with fillings. The homemade jam is a must try as well. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places to stop at when going west on I80 in Nevada. The service is great and the food is spot on. I suggest the corned beef and hash as a good start. Everything is freshly made and the corned beef is not the canned stuff. Enjoy!

Worth the stop for breakfast if you’re anywhere near Winnemucca Nevada! The food was great with generous portions. The best part was watching the staff work as a well oiled machine as they kept the breakfast rush moving and well satisfied. One of the best diner experiences I’ve had.

What a find The Griddle is in Winnemucca! We were passing through and needed lunch and this place was just great. The service was friendly and honest (no, the wheat bread isn't super). I had the best tuna melt I have had in years. The chicken wrap was also great. Definitely the place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Good food, great service, and good prices! 5 adults and 2 kids for 100 dollars! Everything came out as ordered, and drinks were filled without asking! The outside seating was very comfortable.

A gem in winnemucca! Service is great. Breakfast was delicious and decor was rustic with 50s dinner touch. This will definitely be my stop. I miss it already. Only thing is they have a patio but no dogs allowed. I wish they would change that because I travel with my dog a lot.

This place should get 5 stars but didn't because of our waitress. We started out with who we thought was our waiter, but he ended up just being the person who brings waters, menus, and drinks. He was very friendly, with a great personality, knowledge of the menu, and a SMILE. He brought our fresh squeezed OJ. It was amazingly delicious. Then our waitress came(unfortunately). Dark hair, piercings, tattoos, no smile, no friendliness, no personality, looked like she couldn't stand waiting on us or being at work. The food was very good except for the bacon which wasn't crispy, the hash browns which were definitely not brown, and they were out of bananas for my wife's order. We will definitely eat here again buy definitely ask for a different server.

Our server Adriana was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. I had the stuffed French toast with strawberry rhubarb and it was in a word: delicious. My friend had the breakfast quesadilla and she loved it. My side of bacon was cooked to perfection. 5 stars all around.

If you are in the area or passing through this area this is not only a must try it is to die for We got there and you could tell the place was slammed. It was definitely the local breakfast spot. I hate waiting for food but we decided because it was so busy and everything looked and smelled so good we would wait. So we did and the weight they said would be 10 to 15 minutes was not long at all. Honestly I would say it was less than 5. Okay so was already impressed. Everything again smelt delicious. We ordered and the new thing is we both order breakfast and then we pick something sweet. I like a little bit sweet with my salty but I hate just ordering a sweet breakfast. Oh my God I don't think I've ever tasted a breakfast so good so warm and fresh. I actually made sure I told the waitress multiple times how delicious everything was.

We stopped by this place as it had very good reviews. The food and the service were awful. The only thing this place has going for themselves is the atmosphere and the orange juice. I ordered the chicken chipotle burger. When the food came out it was cold and tasted like it was sitting out for days. The pickles were dry, the fries were dry and the burger as well. The ranch was watery and tasted like watered down Caesar dressing. The waiting time is about 45 minutes and once you get the food it’s cold and tasteless.

It was excellent. I had the home made hash and it was outstanding. The service was great and my coffee was always refilled. If you are going to be in or around Winnemucca this is a phenomenal breakfast place.

Great place to start the day. It was really busy but they got us in and out in about 40 minutes. The food was really good too.

A delicious California Benedict of hashbrowns, eggs, toasty buttery bread, avocados, tomatoes, and a hollandaise sauce. Definitely good to hold me over for breakfast during a long road trip out west. If you read their main menu there is a nice family story behind this establishment!

Went there for breakfast on a trip through town back in November 2021. This was one of the best breakfast places I have ever been to. It's a smaller, somewhat cramped looking diner. But once you sit down, the wait staff is very helpful and friendly. You don't really wait long for your food, even on a busy morning. Fresh squeezed orange juice, amazing French toast, potatoes, eggs. Everything was just amazing, and we will be stopping the next time we come through town for sure.

This is THE best breakfast in Winnemucca. It's a small, family owned restaurant that cooks homemade food at wholesome prices. I'm not much of a breakfast kind of person, but there's plenty of menu options for any kind of picky eater. As I recall, the red sauce is homemade and delicious. The potatoes are always cooked crisp and textured right. I took a few of my out of town friends in for our last meal together before we all headed to different places, and everyone agreed the food was worth the wait. Speaking of which, this place FILLS up, so get there early for the best setup. You can't go wrong with a meal at the Griddle.

The food was awesome. It was definitely busy, but after tasting the food I can understand why. The Almond French Toast was probably one of the best I have tasted compared to big chain places. The Chicken Fried Steak was delicious. The portion was a bit smaller than I was used to and definitely higher priced but I guarantee it was worth it. Packed with flavor and the homemade gravy top was good. The service was fast. We didn't wait long for our food and it was served hot. Was our first time here but not the last. I definitely recommend coming here. Support local business and have an amazing meal.

Best breakfast in town. Big menu including standard fare plus crepes, quiche, thick cut and Irish oatmeal and a variety of mimosas. Fresh fruit was really fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and pineapple. All the servers were super sweet and attentive. Everything was cooked just as we ordered. I might go as far as saying this has to be the best breakfast for hundreds of miles 😋

A must-stop for the cross-country traveler. Even has gluten free pancakes. We thoroughly our meal and I did not get sick! Bought some apricot jam to give as a hosting gift on our way out; they said it was fresh that morning.
