    Place has easy parking in a convenient location. It was a joy to watch the smiley employees use the deli slicer upon the orders and the price is terrific. But... There was just one major problem... THAT SANDWICH WAS INCREDIBLY GROSS - despite having the right ingredients etc.

    Fresh bread. I have food sensitivities and it is almost impossible to find bread without crazy additives! This place has great bread and great cheeses. The staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend!

    Good sandwiches. Fresh veggies, I got spinach it wasn't wilted as it tends to be at many other places. Nice staff. Clean restaurant inside and out.

    Depressing inside, staff does not change gloves or wash hands or utensils. Zero food safety practices in place, and the staff do not care whatsoever. It's winnemucca, so what do you expect, but I walked in and wanted to just take the L and leave without my food. Got my food anyway, and got sick. Just go to subway.

    This was single-handedly the worst experience I’ve ever had. The employees seemed to be on drugs and were arguing the entire time about cheese. We ordered two sandwiches and the employee started to add toppings that he wanted on it even though we didn’t want any of them. The employees emptied an entire bottle of mustard on my sandwich. I took one bite of my sandwich and spit it out and threw it away. The macaroni salad was absolutely disgusting. The anger I felt while eating my plastic looking/ not melted grilled cheese was a another level. DO NOT GO HERE! I’ve had gas station hard boiled eggs that were better than this.

    This place is a joke. Just went in to get some supper after working a 16 hour day, as I'm walking up one of the employees locks the door on another customer approaching the door. She flashed some kind of Doordash receipt so they let her in and I followed. The time was 730 google says 8pm when they close. I ordered my food and caught nothing but passive aggressive container slamming from an unkempt mangy looking teenager with an obvious dissatisfaction that he had to make mine and my wife's much deserved meal (which might I add was way disproportioned). We paid for our meal and I gave the 3 employees a 5 dollar tip just because I could, nothing not even a smile. I asked how long the lobby was open, one spoke up and said "about 20 more minutes". So we sat down to eat. After about 5 minutes the same kid that made our food addressed me from a crossed the store to inform me "they were kicking me out because they are closing soon". Back in my day you locked the door and let the people finish their meal for a reasonable amount of time 20 or so minutes after closing. When he told me I was being kicked out the the time was 745, they weren't even technically closed yet. Wtvr some people's kids need to learn some customer service, manners and the proper way to talk to people. Especially if you're going to work in the service industry. This store is a joke. I will be returning the owners should be ashamed. Rant over.

    We had the large American classic. It was big enough to share with my wife and 2 year old. Got it toasted and it was great! The service was simply outstanding, too! They were attentive before we even walked in. We started sitting outside and getting our travel affairs in order (organizing the car after a long travel day in it) when they came over with a bowl of water for our dog. They checked on us before, during, and after we ordered. We left really happy because the service and food made our day!

    Port a sub is in a liquor store last time I was in there there bread was so thin that the mustard and mayo soaked through and fell apart did not realy like the taste of the sandwich have not been back since that was a few years ago

    Tried ordering a hot sub off their menu at 7:08, girl rudely told me they cleaned their grills already, I asked what time they closed, she rudely told me 8:00pm. Put a sign on your window or hire employees who want to work their whole shift!

    I’ll agree with some other reviewers. This place is depressing and their food safety standards are horrid. The gloves might as well not even be used. It’s like they don’t want you in there. I ordered a sandwich, ate it at a table and then proceeded to get yelled at that I can’t use the restroom as it’s for paying customers. This place just plain sucks!

    Poor customer service. I guess if you order 5 sandwiches online it's considered a large order and the person working said we need to give 24hr notice next time even though the website said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I guess it's a good thing we have 3 subways.

    Ive been to port of subs all over California, Nevada, and idaho. This shop is by far the cleanest nicest shop I have been in. Don't let the town around it fool you great staff, clean, well put together, did I mention clean? A+ highly recommend

    Went to get food before work. Walked to the door. Sign says open at 9am. It was 1045am. The doors were locked and they were making subs. Not even the open sign was on. A hour and 45 min after they open doors locked and no sign on. Multiple people came up to the door after we left. I find this absolutely ridiculous. Ended up not get lunch for work. If possible to give negative stars I would.

    When roadtripping through norther Nevada, if I have to stop for food in Winnemucca it is only at Port of Subs. This last visit the employee who helped us (Chris I think?) went so out of his way for us. I love the salads here and he made two delicious made-to-order salads for us. Fresh ingredients with yummy options.

    Flavor was pretty good, didn't love the textures however. Everything felt flimsy UPTDATE: Even if the food wasn't very good the people were nice which I really do appreciate. Good people work here they just might not make the best food.

    My family and I were passing through and stopped to get lunch. We had the BEST customer service by Shawn (not sure of the spelling). He is so positive and truly enjoys his job.

    Nasty ,don't eat there!! The lettuce was slimming looking so I asked if it had dressing on it, and the woman working said" no, I think it's going bad" . True story. Then put it on the sandwich of the customer's in front of me. The mayo was obviously bad, so we avoided those two items. But we both got pretty sick; very bad stomach ache, digestive " urgency " and a dreadful headache. I had roast beef, my friend had the bacon and ham. So on top of spoiled food it was slow, and expensive. Take a different path other than the port

    Delicious subs! They really do cut the meats and cheeses fresh, right in front of you. Helpful and friendly staff and affordable prices. I’m definitely hooked! Great location not far from the interstate and plenty of parking.
