I have been coming here for the past 3.5 years and absolutely love this clinic!! The staff is super friendly and really gets to know their patients on a more personal level, which is pretty much non-existent in other doctors offices nowadays. I always look forward to my appointments here- the staff helps me celebrate my recovery milestones and always listens to any problems I have whether they're recovery related or not. I drive an hour each way to get here and have to pay each month out of pocket for the visits, but I'm happy to do so cuz I know I'm getting the best possible care and really feel like a part of the extended Brightside family. I HIGHLY recommend Brightside Clinic for anyone who is trying to get clean and wants help n support in doing so. I've been clean for almost 2 years now and I have Brightside to thank for it!! Brightside is an amazing clinic and Dr. Kushner and staff are absolutely the best. He goes above and beyond for me always, and has since day 1 as I’m sure he does for all his patients. He’s there for me even when it doesn’t pertain to my treatment at Brightside in regards to medical questions most clinics couldn’t offer as he is/was also an internal medicine Doctor as well as an addiction doctor/specialist. I can count on him no matter what. So if you need help believe me you will be choosing the best place to go if you go to Brightside. The front staff are also amazing and caring always, no matter what is going on or how busy they are. So again if you are on the fence about where to go or if you should go? Believe me when I say you will be making the best decision of your life to get it back on track and get healthy and be free of your addiction by choosing Brightside. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and have referred numerous clients to Brightside Clinic. I cannot say enough good about the care given to clients. Every person has come back to me saying Brightside has saved their life. One client even described Dr. Kushner answering his cell phone any time she calls in a moment of crisis. The team at Northbrook is amazing.. They make me feel like part of the family every visit... Always positive and caring. Definitely best decision I ever made was going to brightside for my treatment. I went there with hopes of getting help and that’s exactly what I got and then some. Dr Zautcke IS A ROCK STAR and helped me tremendously during the critical first few days and I feel GREAT. He was available to me anytime I needed and not many Drs can say that. You won’t regret going to Brightside and Dr Zautcke!!!! I had to add to this review because I truly want someone out there that needs or wants help to consider Brightside. I’m not wealthy and live on a fixed income and have bills like everyone else but the fees there are minimal compared to what they do for you. I am feeling better than I have in years and I owe it all to Dr Zautcke and the staff at Brightside. Many people, I know are struggling and don’t know where to turn because I was one of them. So take the advice of someone just like you and call them. It’s a first step to a better life. I really didn’t believe it was going to work for me but I gave it a chance and I will never regret that decision. Thank you, Dr Zautcke and your amazing staff.

Been going to this clinic for 5 years, great people working from the front desk to the doctors. Always cared about my well-being and made me feel like they do care. If you want your life back I couldn’t recommend a better place.

Brightside definitely lives up to its name. I came here feeling completely hopeless with no end in sight. That all changed from the moment I walked through the front doors. The girls up at the front, Dr. Kushner, and staff were super friendly, kind, and very courteous. I felt like everyone cared and listened when I needed it the most. The treatment plan is very suitable for my needs and I don’t know what I would do without one. Everyone’s trying to maintain, but there’s actually a bright side to life too, and they helped me see that it was possible again!
