😠 If I could leave 0 stars I would. I contacted Shoppers Drug Mart to refill my prescription a week in advance so I would have my new prescription by the time I finished my bottle. Everytime I go to the walk in clinic, upstairs, the old lady reciptionsist is so rude! She is so unpleasant and doesn't even smile. That is the first thing you want to experience when you go to a medical environment.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I contacted Shoppers Drug Mart to refill my prescription a week in advance so I would have my new prescription by the time I finished my bottle. Shoppers Drugmart confirmed they faxed the request to my doctors, Dr. Raimondi and Dr. Alto, the day I sent in my refill request. I didn't hear anything until today when Shoppers Drugmart called me saying they just only heard back today, a week later, that my doc's don't do prescription refills over fax. It's 2021 and we're in a pandemic, why should I have to book an appointment to get my meds refilled when I have been on them for years? Not only that, it takes time to get an appointment, so now I am three days without my medication, and the withdrawal has set in (brain zaps, how fun!). I have now called the clinic 14 times in the past 6 hours and haven't been able to get through. Twice I was put on a hold and then hung up on. I booked a walk-in appointment online, but I also needed to speak with someone because I am unsure if it is a phone appointment or not because it doesn't specify online. All of this could've been avoided if the prescription refill fax was answered in time so I could book an appointment ahead of time so I wouldn't be going days without my medications, and if the receptionists ever answered the phone. I did everything I could on my end, why am i now physically and mentally suffering? After reading similar reviews, my decision to leave this practice is easy. What horrible patient care.

The elderly medical secretary with short hair and glasses in the walk-in clinic always seems like shes having a bad day! At least towards me. Each time I have gone to the walk-in she is snippy with me, she ignores me for 3-6mins and does not greet me with a hello or good morning, just !stern "what are you here for?!" She'll ask a question and in the middle of my response cuts me off with a snippy remark. I think I have had it with her that I will no longer go to this clinic. Back to Access West or Assiniboine Clinic.

This is hands down the most unprofessional medical clinic in Winnipeg. Appointment booking is very low standard. Had a phone call appointment set for 11:45am. No indication of changes. Received a 1 ring phone call at 12:48pm from the doctor who hung up and did not try to call back. The call was very important and was treated like nothing. I tried calling the clinic at 12:20pm as I still had not heard from the doctor; however, received a voice prompt that their phone lines are off and to call 911 in the case of emergency. When you have a scheduled appointment, do not expect it to be on time (minimum 1 hour late all the time). On top of that, you feel rushed by the doctors and tend to only get 10 min with them before the push you out. No matter how polite you are to the reception desk, they are always incredibly rude and do not care for your questions or concerns. Avoid this clinic at all costs. It is not worth your healthy and safety.

Called in at 1:15 on a Friday and was told by a machine to call back during their phone hours of Monday to Friday "sometime" to 12pm and from 1pm to 4pm. Come on guys, do better.

if i could give 0 stars i would. front desk lady is cold and unempathetic. considering people call typically considered for their health, it seems odd that they are so rude. if you want to feel comfortable with who is taking care of you, i would not recommend this place.

I think the front desk should improve their customer service skills which include empathy and communication skills. She only knows hang-up the telephone on the face. I didn't have a chance to request Dr's attention, and she rejects me rudely without willing to help.

Review Update: I had left the below 1 star review in January, 2022. I had been super frustrated at how difficult it was to get through. Since then, my partner and I have called at least 3 times and it has completely changed. It seems like there is a dedicated phone person now. Reece is polite, pleasant, and goes above and beyond in providing excellent service. I had asked Reese to fax a test document to a blood clinic. When Reece discovered the requested location had closed, I was promptly called back to select a different location. I would hands down recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone I know. Great doctors, great waiting room, and great staff. However, they do NOT HIRE ENOUGH STAFF, SO IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. They aren't magic. They cannot have 50 conversations at the same time. It is 10.34 am and both the online booking system and the phone lines are down. It is like this every time we try to book an appointment and has been for months. Stop being so bloody cheap and hire more staff please. If you cannot find more, you likely aren't offering enough money for the work you are demanding.

I took my toddler here during the Saturday walk-in hours as we were visiting from out of town. The wait was short and the receptionist was very friendly. The waiting room is a great space to wait in as well. We saw Dr. Kanwarjit Warraich. He was very thorough, attentive, and informative. He was also so kid-friendly and kid-aware. I wish we could have him as our family doctor. Best medical care experience I’ve had in awhile.

Went for my physical with my wife in May, was told by the same woman who made the appointment over the phone that we were 2 hours early which wasn't possible they had just booked one time and told us another, we had to leave for work and would have never booked so late. Same woman makes an appointment for us both in July for a physical, the reason we couldn't get in till July is so we can get in at the same time, when we arrive in July we are told only my wife has a physical, again, a mistake on their end in the booking, i had to book again in August, so to get what i originally booked i made 3 appointments and had to miss 3 mornings at work. Not great. Great doctors tho!

Your mental illness will not be treated seriously, they will give you just whatever cocktail of medication. Also I've been there over 20years and I'm switching doctors as I need more mental health help and someone who's gonna actually care about my mental health as well as my serious physical condition. Charged me 50 for my chart when it should only be 15-30. But cool I guess .

If you're going to post a sign on the building's front door stating that Dynacare Lab's new address is 515 Sterling Lyon Parkway, please take the initiative and include more detail regarding it's actual location. Otherwise, it's like saying, "It's in Polo Park." You may safely assume that people who are looking for a lab are possibly feeling unwell. Why make it even more difficult? Dynacare Lab is north of IKEA. It's also west of Kenaston Boulevard, in the SEASONS of Tuxedo outdoor retail plaza. The plaza is south of the Outlet Collection indoor mall, in the mall's huge parking lot. The lab is on the very west end of a strip of shops and it's sign is white and lime green. It's front door faces south towards IKEA. Nearby are Frankie's Italian Kitchen and F45 Training. Dynacare has another lab just east of the Grace Hospital, in the basement of the Assiniboine Clinic on Booth Drive at Lodge Avenue. You're welcome. EDIT: Since Dynacare has left the building, they're obviously not going to return and improve the poster. On the other hand, you're in the business of helping people, no? As previously stated, please take the initiative.

Dr Angus is the best... But now it takes at least a month to see him! What's the point then? I see more walk-in doctors than him. It's really frustrating because I can no longer rely on him if he's taking on too many patients. I've been with him since he first started at this location years ago and have noticed the wait times have extended past what's reasonable.

Absolutely can't stand the online booking system for the clinic. I cannot see my doctor on urgent matters and there is no one filtering appointments I was able to book an appointment with my obgyn for a new pregnancy before getting an appointment with my GP. The web booking also gives an option for a virtual visit, and the system sends clear instructions to access the visit but then you wait and realize that Dr. Titus isn't joining the virtual appointment. You call and they tell you you have a walk in book, even though clearly all your instructions are for virtual and they say they don't offer that service. Absurd. Get a new service provider or get a human to take appointment and get your staff to learn about how the booking system works.

I can never get an appointment with my family doctor, likely going to look for a different doctor because she basically never works. Also worth noting that if you book an appointment for 2:00 here, they actually book you for 2:30. Basically wasting 30 mins of your time because they feel they're more important than you.

I have seen a few doctors at this clinic, all have been excellent. Except for one recent encounter with a rude, seemingly inept, and conceited Dr. Warriach. This guy is not worth your time. He interrupted me several times, downplayed my injury, and thought because he had the injury himself, he would treat it for me as he did himself - which did not work. Avoid this Doctor, as there are many working there that will be way more worth your time.

Avoid this clinic at all Costs. They don't listen to the patient one bit. I have been diagnosed with cptsd from how I was treated by a Doctor in this clinic. I am permanently physically disabled from the mistreatment I received. I walked in and an hour later I left not being able to walk unassisted. I now require the use of a wheelchair. I want to be very clear, I had no prior health concerns before I was given this clinic by family Doctor finder. Now I am unable to walk and live my life in excruciating pain.

Been a client of Charleswood Medical since Dr Coodin graduated medical school (so a really long time). Dr Coodin was amazing and I don’t blame him one bit for leaving, the clinic has become a joke. The front end staff are rude and flippant, it’s impossible to get an appointment, I asked to speak to the office manager and was told she was busy but would call me back…that was over a month ago. Thankfully I have found a new doctor and a new clinic. The $50 to transfer my file is the best $50 I have spent in a long time!

I`m not sure what all of the negative comments are about! My wife has been seeing doctors in this clinic for many years and she has never encountered most of these problems you are all talking about. The only thing I have heard her complain about was the front staff but she can give the snotty attitude right back so it doesn`t really bother her to the point where she has to complain about it. Other than that the doctor`s have been very attentive and caring no matter who she see`s. She does have her regular doctor(s) Dr. Raimondi and/or Dr. Alto and they have both been nothing but fantastic for all of her care. I get it it`s nice to have front staff that are friendly but try to focus on why your there and I`m sure it`s not for the front staff. Eventually they do and have gotten rid of the rude and incompetent staff including doctor`s. A doctor isn`t some kind of god by no means! They are human and they too can make mistakes and I agree they should know some simple diagnosis`s even after being told what it possibly could be but like I said we all make mistakes and if your not comfortable with the outcome/answer your getting then take it somewhere else. I know for sure my wife would do exactly that but trust me she would be voicing her concerns loudly to the proper places including verbal confrontation if needed before moving on.

Been with this clinic for 10 years. Things have gone so down hill. The front end male staff hates his job and is extremely rude with people for no reason. I watched him use this same attitude with most people he talks to. What a joke this clinic has become.

Waited for a telephone appointment. After waiting an hour past the appointment time, I called to verify the doctor was still calling. They said there was a patient emergency and said he’d call within 30 minutes. Another hour passed and again I called, just to be told to wait for his call. The third time I called, the clinic must have closed while I was on hold and I was cut off. Called back to their automated voice message. Such poor customer service. If a doctor is running behind, call your patients. If you’re understaffed, hire someone extra. Yes we have a shortage of doctors, but there’s no shortage of people qualified to make a courtesy call.

Good doctors but takes way too long to get in, (which I can deal with and understand if it weren’t for the other issues) online booking system isn’t accurate, and don’t even bother trying to call, I called 12 times in a day once with no answer…. Have had this issue multiple times, not just one day. Can never get through… as many other reviews have said. Wish the Drs would recognize how the poor management of the reception in this clinic is affecting the patients view of the Drs as well. So disappointed in this place.

Good luck booking an appointment. Their online system doesn’t seem to work and I’ve had to wait upwards of 45 min on hold just trying to get through to a receptionist. They also shut down their phone lines at lunch, which makes no sense with how long their call wait times are. If you can’t get through, press 1 instead of 4 to actually speak to a human.

The receptionists are quite honestly the most rude people I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t care about you and act like it’s an inconvenience that you called. They are lucky they are in a profession where they are understaffed because with attitudes like theirs, in any other field, they’d be looking for a new job.

Not sure what the point is in having a family doctor if an appointment takes 6-8 weeks. So you go to their walk in clinic but can’t get in because you have to make an appointment. But call on Thursday morning first thing for a Saturday appointment and they are all booked up. Maybe need more doctors?

Ever since Agnes has retired the service provided from Dr. Jowett is abysmal. Scheduling lucky if it's a month out, usually 3 months wait as he's always at a conference. Scheduling an appointment has become quite the arduous with their online java form failing every single time I try to use it. They are doing everything in their power keep the phone number hidden from public and try to force you to the site so they don't have talk with you. When you do finally get a hold of someone it's most usually a senior staff member who should have been retired ages ago at the pace she functions. As has been my experience when calling in to the office some staff are utterly snarky, telling me If I have the original copy of forms then I can send them out before I could even ask to re submit the forms via fax, saving me 200km roundtrip to the city. She maybe did it but with attitude. If you happen to quote a medical journal advice on scheduling an appointment, be aware that Dr. Jowett is going to give you a stern warning by threatening to remove you from his practice. He will make you apologize for quoting said journal. I have been at his practice since birth going on 35 years but in the past decade the services rendered have been far below par. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place PERIOD

One of the receptionists is exceptionally rude. Additionally, every single time I come in for a scheduled appointment with my family doctor, I am left waiting for upwards of an hour and a half after my appointment is set to start. Very frustrating, I’ll likely start to look for another clinic, because a number of times I’ve had to leave as I have to go back to work.

The online booking system is a sham. The time you book has no basis in reality. When you show up for your appointment time, you could be waiting five minutes or an hour and a half. Doctors are good and the space is recently renovated.

I’ve been going to this clinic for a little while now and I have to say I’ve been very pleased with all the staff I’ve encountered. The staff at the front desk are attentive and quick to address me when I arrive. I’ve seen Dr Reisha (and the nurse he works with) and Dr Brown. I’m very happy with my interactions with them. I’m sure not every day runs perfectly smoothly but so far my wait times upon arrival have been very short. Well done folks, I’m glad I’ve found a great health care provider

I am new to Winnipeg. Manitoba Health told me to go to the Charleston Medical Center Walk-in clinic. It is also written on their door that they are a walk-in clinic. But they are not walk-in. You can only make appointments and they won't even let you do it there. They have to stop calling themselves a walk-in.

I got an unknown chest injury from an assault. The doctor I saw seemed rushed. They told me from the start that my x-rays would be sent to my family doctor for review. The x-ray lab took a week and me calling back and forth to get my results to my family doctor. They had to ask my info over the phone again as if they'd lost it or just never took it. Then, I was told by my clinic I needed to follow up with the doctor who ordered the x-rays? No one told me this in almost two weeks time, and the only thing I got from this clinic was a generic text that sent me to a link that I had to login and sign up for. What a joke. I'm still in pain almost two weeks later and have missed work. This is unacceptable.

If you value your health and well being do not come here, there is a clear lack of care from the staff. Arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was seen 30 minutes after my booked appointment time. Receptionists were loudly discussing patient names and diagnoses. The doctor I went to see was initially in the room next door where a woman was screaming loudly, telling him to believe her. When I was eventually seen I was told I was faking being in pain and to go home. I have remained in pain since, pain which affects my ability to work. I would never come here again.

Negative 1. My 2.5 yr old grandson was there on Sunday with a fever of 41 and a rash all over his body. The female dr said it was thrush without taking his temp or looking in his mouth etc. We told her Health Links said it might be Scarlett Fever but this doctor dismissed it entirely. Said. “if he is up to date with vaccines it is not”….which he has had all the vaccines. She said if we didn’t believe her “GOOGLE IT”. We left upset. We Googled it and she was 100% WRONG! Called a friend who is a doctor in USA and they said rush him to emergency as with the high temperature he could start seizing. We did and was diagnosed with Scarlett Fever after they did a complete check up on him, including listening to the parents concerns Children’s Hospital and their staff were amazing This site won’t allow me to post without giving at least 1 star. Like I said earlier it would be negative FOR THAT DOCTOR WORKING ON SUNDAY.

I had been seeing another medical practitioner for Menorrhagia and anemia, and when they moved their practice to another province I was referred to Dr Wade Glew. During my meet and greet, he told me that "it was normal and not a big deal", even though my anemia was now causing problems in my day to day life. He disregarded all my medical concerns, but instead told me if I was considering pregnancy to start taking folic acid "for the baby's health". Don't you think irregular heavy periods that last for 3 weeks at a time can cause issues with pregnancy? Shocking from a doctor that used to perform medical abortions and should be informed on womens health. When I asked for a referral to an ob/gyn I was ignored. When I had a second appointment and had a pap smear done, I was never asked if I was okay with not having a female nurse/dr in the room. I did not return after this appointment. If you care about having a doctor that cares about your reproductive needs, and has good bedside manner, this isn't it.

Dr Coodin was a saint ! The new doctor taking his patients over is horrible No compassion For patients. Gaslighting Making fun of her patient for crying , it is not appropriate to call your patient a baby or make them feel anxious and stressed This doctor Nasiri should reflect on how she treats her patients . Maybe listening would be a start

😠 the doctor rushed when he saw me. I waited 1hour and 26 mins to be told just to take a covid test and Advil and I was very upset because I felt horrible waiting to be seen and only in the exam room for 5 mins. Right after, I went into another clinic because this was unacceptable and very unprofessi...

Support staff here along with some doctors here have zero respect for...

I had the medical numbers that are required for a visit- I have taken her...

😠 Do not see Dr. Malek. She is racist, rude, and interrupts me. I could barely get a word out and she's already trying to tell me everything she thinks is wrong. I've seen her a couple times and I refuse to see her again. She shouldn't be a physician, she doesn't know how to treat patients properly. S...
