I would give 0 stars if I could. Took a child from the school I work to this clinic. Checked in and explained she was with CFS and that she did not have a physical health card but she is covered under treaty and in the system. I had the medical numbers that are required for a visit- I have taken her before to other clinics. All we needed was a prescription for poison ivy. After 2 hours of waiting, we get called and they won’t see her because they want a specific medical number that CFS does not permit us to have. The information they provide is sufficient and front desk was unbelievably rude. They refused to find her in the system and asked me to pay $100 that would not be reimbursed. Poor child is neglected and in pain and they can’t even look her up in the system! All other clinics were closed at that time and she had to suffer overnight. I have no idea what is going on at this clinic. We were patient as we had lots of time and got there early. In the middle of explaining the child’s situation the ladies at the front desk turn away from me and the other picks up the phone! After that I let them know how rude they were being and we left. And as a cherry on top of a terrible terrible experience, they implement a mandatory mask policy but charge $1 per mask! Just TERRIBLE. I honestly have never encountered such rude people in my life. Please do not go to this clinic unless you want to be ignored and your time wasted. I cannot how unbelievably rude the front desk staff were and how they dismissed a neglected child in CFS care. Disgusting. 0/5

The receptionists are about the only slightly acceptable thing about this place. I arrived @ 10 in the morning for a work related incident. There were only two other people ahead of me. I let reception know that it was a work related thing which usually puts my in the 'express lane' The receptionist called me up and mentioned that I should say that it was work related. Which I did when I arrived. So reception doesn't actually listen to anybody here. People kept walking in and being accepted before me even though they had no appointment. It took me 5 hours to see a doctor. I have to go to this clinic because of my job. I can't choose another one. I witnessed a woman ask reception how long the wait would be. They mentioned about 20mins so the woman proceeded to go outside for a smoke. She came back in and they made her restart her wait because she left to go outside. On top of that when I went to the bathroom while I was waiting there were used needles hidden behind the toilet and the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly in a year during the worst pandemic that the world has seen since the Spanish flu. When I managed to get into see a doctor I overheard the doctor chatting to the secondary reception in the back. Whoever was behind that desk was ushering the doctor to visit with the patient (me) before continuing the conversation. The doctor scoffed and said that I have to wait because I'm too cheap to go to a regular clinic, and continued to have the conversation. So that was another 30 minutes. When the doctor did decide to do their job and visit me they didn't listen to me. I hurt my leg pretty bad at work and just wanted modified duties so my leg could heal and I could still go to work. This piece of work completely ignored what I was saying and tried to start a conversation about traveling. Like do your job as a medical professional or gtfo. It took me twenty minutes and pretending to film the doctor while she was ignoring my explanation of what I'm limited too. I informed my job and now I have to come back on a different day because of a lazy, arrogant fool. This place is utterly disgusting. Come here if you like waiting for 6 hours, incompetent cleaning staff and children running around with parents no where to be seen as well as an unbalanced and completely unfair waiting system. I would rate negative stars if I could.

This clinic is usually open on weekends and has availability. It’s great for kids with quick skin issues for antibiotic cream or pink eye. The doctors are good enough for quick antibiotics. They are so many people no one is nice or anything. They still have paper files.

The tall receptionist was very rude when I had inquired to see if this clinic had a woman doctor working that day. In her hoarse voice, she aggressively responded saying, “we don’t take gender requests here” when I had requested one multiple times in the past and not had a problem. People come to the clinic to address health issues — they don’t need to be greeted by an angry, miserable woman who clearly hates her job.

Do not suggest this clinic. Very bad experience. No service at all, receptionist girl was so unbelievable rude, hang up phone abruptly. and I did two blood tests there, paid for one for a few extra examinations.called back the same, no body picked phone at all. They just totally ignore customers. Lazy, impatient and rude crew members especially the Receptionist girl. Also lack of diversity there. Looks like they like to hire people from their own ethnic groups.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Extremely unprofessional reception. I guess the 1 star is just for the doctor I seen. Refused to issue my prescription as stated it's not their job and that the person who owns the company stated that they don't have to, so they wont. Awfully rude and hanged up on the phone with a too bad. Went in to speak with a supervisor who threw my prescription and told me to take my business elsewhere as they are a private company so there's no need for any customer service on their behalf. Will never return due to the disrespect and disregard of my health and my clientele. I was in no way disrespectful and solely asked for an apology which wasn't offered or extended. As walking out they said that there no rush because they weren't busy to add insult to injury. Would never recommend to anyone! You're better at getting service at a place that cares about their clients and aren't a bunch of bullies. Would like to note, I was kind, quiet and respectful. Came in and even waited to talk to a supervisor who pushed me out rather than hear any of my concerns and refused to give me any sort of contact email or number for the business as it seems they wouldn't have any action on their part. Will be actively advocating against this place as a business.

I wish I could give less than zero, I went there to discuss about the blood test results with doctor and I had to wait almost 3 hours, then doctor came and just said you have low iron, she nearly met me for 1 minute and I was like that all you wanted to discuss and that is it for what I waited 3 hours and paid $175?? I do not have my health card so that was wastage of my money and time. She said as we never seen for a long so I could not inform you at phone if that was the reason she should guide me that what should I do or should I go for another test pr something. I was totally disappointed and mentally tortured. This clinic is just making money. One more thing that they are charging $1 for disposable mask so if u are coming bring your mask.

The front desk staff is lovely! They were so wonderful. Today, on Sunday afternoon, I saw a doctor for a walk in appointment. I explained to the front desk, the doctor, and the pharmacist that I am allergic to a specific medication. I always receive a surprised reaction from health care professionals, because it's not a very common allergy. I explained in detail the very severe reaction I had when I last used this drug. I was told I was being given a topical cream (that I have safely taken before) + an oral medication, and went home. I put on the cream, took one of the pills. (I have used both of these medications in the past) and received a call. Once I got off the call, I was reading through the medication information sheet that specifically says to not take this medication if you allergic to MEDICATION I AM ALLERGIC TO. At the pharmacy, I asked if either of these prescriptions have negative interactions with any medication that I am currently taking, and if there was any concern about taking these drugs with alcohol. I am usually able to advocate for myself quite well, I was able to clearly explain what the reason for my visit was, and tell everyone involved about my allergies, and this still happened. I would highly recommend avoiding this clinic - I have had positive experiences at the Four Rivers Walk In on Broadway, or Corydon Village Medical Centre. I hope that this will make people think twice before going to this clinic.

If I I would give a zero, I would do it. I came here 8:02pm since I went home from work. I was very tired and hungry from work so I rested there even though I really need to see the doctor. When I get there, the clerk told me they stop taking patient because they would be close at 9pm. I really understand that the need of taking patient earlier because of wait times but there were only 3 people waiting there and I got there 8:02 which I am sure they can take me without getting home late. The clerk has no consideration whatsoever of me needing to see the doctor or make exception and tell me that " I can take you right now but next time please come before X this time". I would understand if they stop taking patients 30 minutes before close but an hour is plenty of time despite the wait times. Unbelievable!

This place is making it mandatory to wear facemasks, which I don't have a problem with. If you don't have one, you can buy one from them. That's where the problem is. they're selling them way above cost. Might only be $5.00, but that's a rip off for something they probably get for less than a dollar each. Profiting off a pandemic.

Very disappointing visit today. I mustered up the courage to go visit my family physician after suffering the loss of my daughter recently— my visit was to have forms completed so I could donate my breast milk and help other children in NICU that desperately need the nutrition. The receptionist took the forms and handed them over to the clinic staff — the clinic nurse then called me back and stated there are a lot of papers (however, the questions on the form are very basic). The nurse went on to say that she spoke with the ‘owner’ of the clinic and she does not feel my family physician can complete these forms. The ‘owner’ then comes out of a treatment room and states I’ll have to pay $100+ to have the forms completed along with paying for all the lab work requested as it’s not required and is for personal reasons. She then proceeds to tell me to shove the forms down the drain and to give my milk to friends. I told the nurse I would still like to see my family physician; however, she was very hesitant and made the comment that the owner of the clinic already said these forms cannot be filled out so I shouldn’t mention it to my physician — I told her there’s more to my visit then just the forms and that I wouldn’t bring it up with him. Overall, extremely disappointed not only with our healthcare system but humanity in general.

Tried to use st. James clinic today. Used Medi map because St James clinic was listed as only a one-hour wait time. So I drove across the city to get an appointment and upon arrival was informed that they were no longer accepting patients. It was 4pm and their hours of operation are until 6 pm. There were five people waiting in the waiting room. When I asked reception when they stopped taking a patient's she told me 45 minutes previously. Medi maps was updated 15 minutes prior to her giving me that information. The reception was polite but the system doesn't work. She then referred me to Grace hospital because all other walk-in clinics were closed in Winnipeg I or at copacity. I then proceeded to Grace hospital at 4:30 and they were closed for the day at 4:30. Thanks for nothing St. James medical. There's 2 hrs of my life I'll never get back.

When you call, it seems you will get one of two; someone incompetent, or someone rude. Called this morning (05/10/24) with basic questions about blood labs and the lady kept having to put the phone down to ask someone else. Which is fine, she was polite enough, as were we. But I heard the lady in the background angrily say “is she still on the phone?!” after asking another question she didn’t know how to answer. That lady got on the phone with a bad attitude saying “Hi, how can I help you?!” while it’s obvious she was aware of the situation and was just asked the question, but ok. We asked again. She quickly and rudely answered our question with a “bother someone else” type of response and quickly hung up with a “k bye!”. I’m really sorry about whatever has made her such an angry person, but there’s no need to take it out on my poor mother who is politely just trying to ask some questions. Show some professionalism and basic decency. I hope you feel badly.

It's disgusting that they charge $1 per mask if paying cash or $3 per mask if paying by debit. Like okay, as if the owner of this private clinic is financially struggling that they can not provide a mask to patients without masks. I feel sorry for an owner who goes so far to exploit people. I really do pity you. I'll leave an extra $1 at the front desk for your pocket. It's clear you need it more than I do.

I have been going here for a little over a year when I cannot see my family doctor. I am very disappointed in how they have been treating me and others. This place is not LGBTQ2S plus, friendly! I am transgender and have changed my name over a year ago and they still call me by my old name/ write prescriptions in my old name. Even though I have told them to update my file at least half a dozen times over the past year. It's embarrassing to be called up by a males name as a female and having everyone in the waiting room stare at you! I had to correct the doctor again this last time I went and he had to rewrite the prescription he wrote and the lab work he had me do. Dr Dhanjal did not even properly listen to me when I had told him I was given a certain pill type that's not been working and he proceeds to not ask me what name that drug is and then writes me a prescription for the same pill that I am finding not working. I did not notice till I was at my pharmacy and they showed me the pill he even wrote it for a lower dose then what I was given before for which the pill has not been working. I also asked him what type of lab work I was given and he told me just blood work and it turned out to be more then just blood work he could have told me that before I went to get it done. Lastly I over heard an elderly lady in a lot of pain in the next room over while waiting for the doctor and a nurse loudly and condescendingly said why are you making so much noise and if you are in that much pain then you should have gone to the ER and not here. The lack of respect here really makes one not feel comfortable coming back. I will not be coming back to this clinic no more.

This clinic might have long wait times, and it really needs renovations, but.... it also has the best doctor's in the city. I have been going there for 15 years and no matter the doctor, they are all fantastic. they actually listen to you, chat with you, and do care. The only bad experience you might have there is with the weekend front desk admins. They are bi...s, rude, unprofessional. BUT still their doctor's worth the wait!

I took my children there and had a wonderful experience. Reception was so nice and polite. We were seen quickly. Dr. Roussin was very polite and respectful, he was great with the kids and very knowledgeable. I wish all doctors were as nice and respectful as Dr. Roussin was. Most doctors don't care to listen or actually make eye contact with patients and are not always respectful. I highly recommend the clinic. Thanks for the great service.

I want to give this clinic zero stars. A lady doctor here i dont know her name. She is a tall heighted lady with blonde hair. Because of her wrong diagnosis my claim at WCB got denied because she told that its a sprain whereas its a nerve compression. I use to tell her all the symptoms. She never put and attention to them she will be coming later than appointment time and will be sending you with in five minutes. I will never remcommend this clinic and specially this doctor to anyone if you want to be healthy and fit do not go to her

I will never go back to this clinic. We went in today for a possible ear infection. We got there and there were about 7 people ahead of us. We waited for 3 hours before I called Westwood and went there instead. We waited for 2 in the waiting room and then another hour in the doctors room. I had to take my 3 children with me. By the last hour everyone was screaming. (I don't blame them) Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. We got in right away at Westwood.

Collection of one of the worst Doctors I have ever seen or being treated by. Dr. Connor wasn't helpful at all as he supposed to. He kept on making me go back and forth for something very minor health matter. He is quick to tell me this and that before he even listen to why I went to vist him. I do not trust him at all and I did not get the health care service I deserve to get. Avoid Dr Connor by any means, he is waste of my time and energy. He told me to go back see him after 1 month and I waited for a month and went back and he told me again to go back after one month and I did and he told me to go back see him in a month again , all these time he did nothing other than talking nonsense nothing to do with my health related other than predictions about bxxxshxxt and he was telling me if I don't have infection I do not get treated as soon as possible, he said it's not urgent 😅 😐 🙃 shame on you Connor

I have been going to this clinic since I was a kid. I’ve never had an issue until a few months ago. I had been to the clinic twice in a week due to an ear infection that wouldn’t go away. The staff behind the counter were gossiping about a patient who had been there recently. They kept asking each other if the name sounded familiar. Not very professional in my opinion.

My boyfriend went to this walk in and was seen by Dr Lumba I believe her name was. She took her time listening to his symptoms. She was unsure of how exactly to help him but within 2 days had set up 2 different appointments with specialists to ensure he received immediate care from the appropriate people. She did not wash her hands of his case from there but requested a follow up appointment the following week. This may not be a 5 star clinic but we would definitely go back if need be.

DO NOT GO THERE!!! It absolutely untihumanistic place. When I walked in with my broken leg I asked if it is right place with my problem, they said yes. Futhemore after waiting two hours for visit a doctor and find out they do not have X rays. I had to do it in another place. So I did. But never have feedback after that. So I came back and I had to wait 4 hours!!! just to find out that Dr Conor don’t know what to do with my leg. And I need to go to another clinic. Also I got thick after visiting this place course they make many sick people wait in non ventilate room. Just avoid this place if you don’t want to be mentally tortured and visit incompetent doctors and as bonus catch viruses.

I went to the clinic this morning and was asked to leave my name and come back just before 9 am as the walk in clinic opens at 9. I showed up just before 9 and waited only 10 minutes before I was seen by a very pleasant doctor. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and really took the time to ask what my symptoms were. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend to others

This clinic has always been there for me and my child when my family doctor was not available. They have to deal with a heavy load of patients in most days and they do great handling that. I have no complaints; you can only do what you can do in a walk in clinic. Their services are very much appreciated to me.

This is the clinic in the west end I’d normally go to. While there is wait times I always get in. I’ve had no issues with reception or doctors and whatever the dictators prescribe always helps. I’ve come here before for sinus infections, pink eye, and strep throat and they always diagnose and prescribe accurately. Only thing is the wait times but I don’t normally go right when it opens so wait times are expected.

Dislocated my baby toe this morning. Went to Access West Urgent Care and they stopped taking patients at 12 noon. Wow, honestly the kindest medical experience I have had here. I had to get prescriptions refilled and the doctor dealt with me with patience and thoughtfulness. My family doctor retired and she was trying her best to think of someone who might be able to take me on. It's very rare to have the extra kindness and thoughtful approach she showed in a busy medical clinic. Yes the downside to this clinic is it is extremely busy and your wait will be over an hour for sure. But if you treat the staff and doctors with kindness it will be repaid many times over.

They’re profiting off forcing people to wear disposable masks, that are not backed by science in anyway! The research shows it’s either a properly fitted N95 mask, or it’s basically useless! Yet here they are forcing me to buy a single disposable mask, to put on my bearded face, or they will deny me services. I see zero logic applied, the staff is rude because I pointed out the flows, and telling me to leave. What happens if someone has no money? No service? Sounds like discrimination against the poor, and those with brains to me!

My spouse, kid and friend go in to get checked out cause theyve been sick for weeks. They get told they need a mask, alright these kinda places provide them right? No you have to buy them. They scrounge up change to buy one and surprise! No longer accepting patients. That's ridiculous. They wouldn't even let them wait inside the doors despite it being -20 so 2 adults and a 2 yr old was left out in the snow. Definitely never coming back. Disgraceful to healthcare.

Very hit or miss with this clinic. The pharmacists who work there are always friendly and helpful. However the wait times and inconvenient hours (if you work a full time day job) are my main issues. Said they don't do phone appointments yet I've read otherwise. Go early as possible if you don't want to wait 2+ hours

I went to this clinic yesterday. I had to get a shot that is time consuming, since they do a shot and a reading twice. The first doctor I saw was very professional. She injected it properly, having my arm on a table. She put one of those circular bandaids on it after and I felt very at ease. The second doctor that I saw for the second shot(which was yesterday) I felt was completely unprofessional. She wanted to inject me with my arm just sticking out because she said she wasn't comfortable doing it on a table because she was tall....let that sink in. She wanted me to adjust myself even though I was the one getting the shot. It was more painful this time since I felt she didn't do it properly and my arm was in mid air...and I felt that made it even more unbearable. It hurt pretty bad as she pulled the needle out. Then she held a cotton ball and wanted to tape it in place. I mentioned the first doctor used a circular band aid and she started talking me down saying that the doctor would never do that because it would irritate the wound. Then she started mumbling something about she wouldn't do that because of protocol or something to that effect. On-top of that, before she gave me the shot, she didn't even wash her hands with soap, just ran it under water. And if you're in the medical profession that's baffling. I felt so uncomfortable and voiced my concerns to the front desk only to have them roll their eyes at me saying she knew what she was doing. I felt completely shut down. Having two experiences with two completely different doctors, I felt they should of heard me out. I have one more visit to make for another reading and will be taking my husband with me because I am that uneasy. Completely unprofessional.

I've only had bad experiences at this clinic. It's a popular clinic due to the location, and expect a lot of people and long wait times. What I don't appreciate is the embarrassing, loud attempt at pronouncing my last name as a man's nether regions. It's a common English last name she has had to have come across many times. When I went to correct her she ignored me and glared as if I was the one in the wrong. Everyone in the room was looking at me. I don't like that kind of attention. She then asked loudly what I was there for. I told her softly but she shouted she couldn't hear me. I spoke to her again at my normal volume. That still wasn't loud enough for her. It was like she wanted me to announce it for all to hear. So, in a nutshell, they don't believe in patient confidentiality. The Dr. doesn't listen to you and just does the basic testing then lets you go.

Seems like people complain too much. I am from another country and the care I received here exceeds anything I have previously had to deal with. the doctor was efficient and knowledgeable.

Amazing lab tech! I have a bad phobia of the needle in my inner arm when giving blood and normally pass out. The tech was so amazing I didn't feel a thing! He talked me through it and asked how I was and I didn't feel the needle at all. And no bruise! I bruise very easily. It was done so fast and with amazing care! Definately going here for all my testing.

Both of the doctors I've seen here made me feel listened to. The front staff seem kind & respectful. The lab treated me like cattle. The washrooms were disgusting and the facility itself feels like something out of a third world country. Considering how busy this walk in is, it is in dire need of a complete renovation. It feels unsanitary, which I suggest is more of a political issue then anything else.

This place is crooked. They only care about money and pushing their drugs on you. I've been different for over 2 weeks now and they're denying me help. I have a valid mb health card and do not owe them a cent. But still they deny my health. Don't trust this place

I went at 730am and the front desk staff left me in by 750 instead of waiting out in the cold till 8. The girls working at the front were very friendly. I got there early and was the first person in line. I was in and out by 820am. Dr.Redekop was who I saw and he was a really kind/friendly doctor who listened to my history of strep throat and how I was feeling. 48 hours & some antibiotics later I’m feeling like myself again. I’d definitely recommend going here especially if you need to get in quickly in the mornings!

I've been seeing Dr. Ritchie since I was in my early 20's & she is amazing! She listens, takes her time with you & always has a solution for your problems! She also saved my moms' life many years ago, when none of the specialists would believe there was a problem! Turns out my mom had "3" kidneys' & one was infected & attached to one of her other kidneys! Unfortunately, the bad one infected the good one & they had to remove both... now she only has one! If it weren't for Dr. Ritchie being so adamant, my mom wouldn't be with us today. She is 90 now & I'm 60, & I hope Dr. Ritchie "never" retires!!

Went to here for years without issues until I submitted a workings compensation claim with them. They treated me great until then, Dr. Ritchie was amazing and caring until after that whole mess. I went a while ago and she was moody and short fused towards me and now I will not be going back. I really don't know what happened but I hope she finds her roots again because she was a 10/10 doctor and the reason I kept going there.

Understand if you must attend, but the organized chaos, small spaces, basement operations, lack of decent sitting can drive a patient crazy! I,wonder how much $$$ the medical professions have pulled out of the building at the expense of the patients

My grandparents have been coming here for years (almost 20 years to be exact). This fairly new hire receptionist loves to give attitude and belittle my grandparents for routine phone calls. “…. Like I have told you already….” It is your job to represent the clinic as a whole. Now when they need to get in touch with the doctor they dread going through the front woman. It’s impossible to train people to love their job but you can tell this woman is grasping for a cheque instead of genuinely caring about the clientele.

I did my Mantoux test for school. The doctor was very nice and accommodating however, the receptionists were rude and unprofessional. I asked them a few question regarding appointments and they kept cutting me off. I called again to get a copy of my receipt to show to my school, and two different receptionist were talking to me and both was unprofessional. I asked if I needed an appointment to pick up my receipt as I live outside the city, but they hung up on me.

Doctor was good, but waited over an hour for my prescription, and it was just a nasal spray! Why the long the long wait? I wasn’t notified that it was ready, so when I finally asked if it was ready, they said yes and when I said they should have told me it was ready, they claimed that they tried calling once and that I had left to go to the lab, but I did not leave at all. I was sitting in the pharmacy THE ENTIRE TIME.

Don’t suggest this clinic.I when there on Saturday because I’m a 100% sure I have strep throat and the doctor saying don’t, but if we were to look in my throat you can clearly see that it’s strep throat. I’ve called them twice to get my results but they won’t answer or call me back.

I've been going to this clinic for a few years and I don't really have a reason to stop going. I've never encountered any rude staff and I'm thankful that doctors are available when I'm in need. It's true that quite often you have to wait but I understand that sometimes people arrive after me that need to be seen more urgently, one day it might be me.

I have been a few times recently, feel safe, not many people in waiting room. ( great because of covid) my visits there have been good. Yesterday i only waited 15ish minutes. My doctor, she was great, she took time to really explain things to me, she had read my chart before seeing me and had great answers. Definately made me feel better in my recovery.

I saw a walk-in doctor here. Overall, the admin staff was friendly and professional. It took about 30 minutes to check-in and see the doctor. Afterwards the wait time for the lab was a bit longer, but still reasonable.

I came to Winnipeg from out of province and the staff at St. James Street Medical Clinic were my doctors for the first year until I got my own doctor. They are professional, thorough, and they listened to me. As well, there is a lab on site so it is very convenient when I need blood tests after an appointment. It is a walk-in clinic so you do have to wait, but I didn't have to wait very long to see a doctor.

I respect the doctor and honest staff. They tell you over the phone how busy it is and they are also quite fast with patients and I really recommend Doctors there as they take the patient problem very seriously and try to suggest them with best outcome. The thing which really got my heart is after the walk in for 2 days in excruciating pain and they helped me with it and the doctor called me the next day to check on me and they didn’t happen to me with any other.

This clinic was a waste of time. Was told over the phone the service I needed could be done here and then came for a walk-in. Had to wait the queue and then was told they can’t do the service here. Front desk staff also give conflicting information, heard them contradict themselves to other patients and changed their info. for me when I was speaking with them. Doesn’t really make you trust what they’re telling you.

Ok first, the staff was lovely! What bothered me is that they don't open until 8am, so I was waiting in the car with my son. We went in at 8 sharp, only to find 15 people already in the waiting area. Apparently they open the doors at 7 to let people in.... so that was very frustrating cause we waited so long in the car not knowing that the line was growing already. We left after 2 hours, as we still hadn't seen anyone and I had to get to work.

The medical receptionists in this clinic are the rudest people I have ever met in my entire life! They don’t know how to greet and doesn’t know how to show sympathy. They are cranky and grumpy! Miserable people! I just don’t have a choice sometimes because it is the closest clinic in my neighbourhood. These receptionists need to go back to school and should be re trained with anger issues and management skills.

I've been coming here for years on and off without issue but today (Feb 21 around 2pm) I came in with my wife and daughter and was met with a very rude receptionist who seems to have some interpersonal issues. We forgot our health card and since we were already there we figured we would try since we've been there before. An old lady working there with a condenscendingly tone asks "Why don't you have your health card?", to which I reply "We forgot it today", which she then replies with "Why?". The one receptionist I was actually speaking to in the first place tells me she can't find my wife's name in the system, then the old lady cuts in saying "Nope you haven't been here before, here's the number for Manitoba Health" when I clearly stated that we had been here in the past. What's up with that? I have no problem with a "sorry we can't let you guys see a doctor", but not bringing a document is no excuse to disrespect patients, many of whom who may be coming to see the doctor for particularly serious issues. This is supposed to be a place where the sick can feel comfortable, not disrespected and belittled. Needless to say I told her to cut the attitude and she replies "Have a good day sir goodbye". Some serious passive aggression coming from this old lady, not my fault that you hate your life. I'll have a way better day than you because I don't tread life trying to provoke people. I'd really feel sorry for myself if she was my mother or wife. I'll make sure to contact a news outlet about this. Maybe something will happen or maybe not. But it's really disgusting that fast food workers have more manners than many healthcare workers these days.

the receptionist is always giving attitude. Maybe she should choose another career because I only been there twice but she always has the same snobby attitude. I am not in the same field as her and most of the patients aren’t, so why does she talk to us like we are supposed to know everything she does. She should drink a coffee or go on a walk before work because she seems like she is just pissed. Find a better receptionist or whatever she is because it is making the clinic look terrible.
