Super views. Parking is ample and fairly close to the overlook. A manageable walk for an aged relative. The views up and down the Mississippi River valley are amazing and Winona, the island city, spreads out below.

Great views even with it being cloudy and cool. Nice park and a few different vantage points.

Great lookout at the top! You have to park at a gravel spot a 2 blocks from the trailhead. The new trailhead is a set of limestone stairs that come out right next to someone's driveway, but once you are on the trail expect a rigorous hike through the woods to the top.

The view of the geography of the Mississippi River, and the City of Winona's location on it; is completely unique from the observation area here. It offers a history lesson in hundreds of millions of geological year's, and is breathtakingly pretty, day or evening. Easily accessible; you park your car and walk 300 feet.

Nice viewing area with access to steep dirt trail. Travel to park up the paved, winding road was part of the scenic experience.

My wife and I were told about this place from a waitress at a local restaurant in Winona. After dinner, we went out there and was amazed at the wonderful views and information posted about it and the surrounding area. A quick visit and lots of memories. Highly recommend checking this out if you have a few minutes.

I feel very at peace there. And anytime the world feels overwhelming it's a great place to go to relax.

Simply stunning. If you ever get a chance to go to the park, and it's really foggy in the city of Winona, I promise you, you'll be blown away.

This location in Maps will put you at the bottom of the trail to the overlook. There's no parking here. You can easily *walk to it from the MRT, but the trail is not bikable no matter how fat your bike is. From this spot, it starts out very narrow and uneven with roots aplenty, and soon becomes steep, aging steps. It is a wonderful hike.

Fantastic overlook without a hike. Drive up and sorry path leads to the view of the entire River valley!

You'd be hard pressed not to find at least one other group of people out here, whether on the official look out or on the trail leading out to the edge of the bluff. It's a nice little hike with good views of Winona, stretching very far up the river in both directions.

A short drive up a windy, steep road and Voila! - you've got yourself a spectacular view of Winona! Park the car and walk one minute to the spacious overlook perch. Or get a little adventurous and find a nearby trail to enjoy some other scenic vistas and wooded beauty. (As the photos posted will make obvious, I visited in Fall on a gem of a weekend.)
