We recently adopted a new puppy and chose Lakes Animal Hospital for our veterinary needs. Though we have only been there for one appointment so far, they are very nice/friendly and the facility is modern/clean. We really look forward to our future visits and a long, happy relationship with them.

I had been looking for a really good experienced veterinarian office for a very long time. I went to see Dr. Oaks on a recommendation from a friend and very happy that I did. I'm very particular when it comes to who cares for my West Highland white terrier she means the world to me, she's 10 years old and has several different issues. I needed somebody that would give her the experience and have patience with her and me at the same time lol! She needed to have surgery and choosing Dr. Oaks to do it worked out to be one of my best decisions, because he took all of her health issues into consideration when performing the surgery and putting her under anesthesia. He truly listens and answers any questions and concerns you have. My sweet Bella came out of surgery and healed beautifully thanks to Dr Oaks! I highly recommend him!

Our dog is a new patient here, and thankfully they were able to identify the issue no other vet has. Our dog is doing better than ever, thanks to them. We'll continue to trust them with our best friend.

I am beyond happy that I found Dr. Oakes, Lisa, and the entire staff four years ago. Even when I was a new dog mommy, Dr. Oakes listened to my concerns even though they were unreasonable looking back on them. Oh well. Every experience has been great for me. Even during the worst times of the pandemic, everyone treated my pups and myself with care and patience. Amazing place!

Originally I didn’t write anything in addition to my 5 stars. I needed to update this after my most recent experience. My cat has had a recurrent medical issue that has required 3 hospitalizations in the last year. Dr. Oakes has been incredible both with treatment as well as follow up after unfortunately ending up at the emergency vet (because pets never get sick during business hours). This whole staff is incredibly accommodating and this is the first vet I’ve been to where I don’t feel like another number, and another bill for them. Dr Oakes and his staff truly care and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Oakes Animal Hospital has a wonderful staff that provides great care to my dogs. Annual checkups are easy to book. There is little waiting time at the office. And they love on the pets as they provide care.

The staff and vet here are so wonderful to me and my babies. The location is great, and the office is clean and pretty. They’re very responsive no matter how you try to get in touch with them, and they’re very knowledgeable on how to best care for your animals.

DrTJ Oakes and staff are by far some of the most caring and knowledgeable people in their field of veterinary medicine. Not sure why I didn't start going there when they first opened. I hope to continue to bring my pugs and rescue pup for medical care for years to come!

If this animal hospital took people. I’d be a patient and they’d be my new PCP. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Oaks animal hospital is everything a business should be and their staff is complete with incredible people who genuinely care and show up every day.

Dr. Oakes is most knowledgeable and wonderful with our 2 year old Golden Retriever. The prices are more than fair and the staff is always compassionate and helpful. We are very grateful to have found such a friendly, family-owned animal hospital.
