I came here for the first time around 9 years ago in 2013 and I fell in love immediately! Their ribs are so good and they care about quality over quantity. The food also comes out really fast. Most occasions I come here with family (around a party of 10) and they make sure everything is good and that we have an enjoyable experience! Their fries are crunchy and tasty. Their corn is fresh and juicy. Their Phil’s sauce is also amazing with any bbq foods!

One of the best restaurant and very good taste. I'm new here in the town and my brother brought me here but I love it.

The food here was pretty good went to order our food and we got this fantastic kid named Noah with a great personality made our day. He got the order right with no problems and then we went and got a nice seat on the patio. There we had great service by someone named Aiden he did a great job. Great place to take the kids.

Pretty good bbq place. Busy as well. Got the beef and chicken combo, full pork rack and half chicken meal. All were well cooked and seasoned. Only complaint was they gave me only 1 3oz container of bbq sauce for 3 dinner boxes and and large side of fries.

You really cannot beat Happy hour at Phil's BBQ. Beer pints for $5, a person could get used to that! And the food, very good. Not every day, though; we have to balance our nutrition with kale smoothies and Cobb salads, but once in a while, go ahead and treat yourself!

Went to Phil's BBQ after my Flag Football game in Santee. The time it took for me to order, sit at the bar to wait for my order, and order a drink, was just under 10 minutes. I had a half rack ribs with a small coleslaw, and a small fries. Food was very good and I was watching the March Madness Tournament while I ate. The drink was what you see on the jar in the photo. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The ribs fell off the bones! I had a small left hand injury and ate the ribs with one hand. I recommend!

Cool place with country feeling and delicious food. BBQ is really good and portions are big. Meat always cooked right. Service friendly and fast. A lot of TV s with sports channels.

One of the best places to get Pork Ribs, A must visit in San Diego. We got the full rack pork ribs with Macaroni Salad and Coleslaw. It was goooood. The meat was soft and tender, and their bbq sauce is one of a kind. The staff was welcoming, and the manager was kind enough to give us extra coleslaw on the house! Definitely recommended, and I will visit again soon.

I was there Thursday night after a long road trip. I was welcomed and greated professionally by Joanna, she was patient with me and answered my questions about the menu. She even offered a sample to taste as I was not sure about sides. She was humble and patient with me. And the order was made fast. Her extraordinary customer service first and food quality second were the reason I bought another larger dinner to go for my family even though I have to drive about 3 hrs North and my family and kids loved the surprise dinner. Note, my second order was taken by Sheldon a great man with a great personality and excellent customer service too. Joanna and Sheldon delivered the best customer service experience that would make it worth the long drive for me to come back later.👍

First time at this place and tried BBQ chicken and it was delicious 🤤. The quality of the chicken was so good. One of the best restaurants I have ever tried. Informative manager and attentive service ❤️

Let me first start off by saying, thank you to Nicole for the excellent service she provided. We decided after a late game to head over to Phil’s before they closed and thank goodness they were open. Bar-B-Que chicken was fantastic, both potato and macaroni salad, excellent! Also, thanks for converting my daughter’s kid burger to a double cheeseburger, she said it was delicious. Next time we are in Santee for a game, we will definitely be stopping at Phil’s and highly recommend everyone else do the same!!

To be honest the ribs were very expensive didn't realize what I was ordering they were so huge. But not the less they was very tender very tasty. Moneywell spent! They get a 10 on my scale!!! An I gave a giant Appetite. But irregardless of my appetite the food must taste very good seasoned and tinder and it was all that. I will serve with the smile the people seem to be extremely polite. And I appreciate the dining Inn with my family from out of town everybody enjoyed the food no complaints. Very good dinner money well spent!!! Ther were 4 eating in our party.

Nice place ! I was there for lunch and was not disappointed with my baby back rib meal. The servings were generous, with counter pick up (I think table service would have been better). > My quarter rack, 5 bones, ribs were really good. I ordered mine dry with sauce on the side. Rub was mildly spicy and the sauce was thin with a vinegar tang, really liked it. > Coleslaw was excellent, really tasty. > Fries very good, hot and slightly crispy. Service was friendly and store appeared to be clean. Easy parking. Recommended.

Great BBQ joint! The pulled pork is fantastic and the sauce is truly delicious and unique. It's a 'must visit' whenever we're in the San Diego area.

GREAT BBQ! Had the 1/4 barbecue chicken and pulled pork...YUM, YUM, YUM! The onion rings were PERFECT! Liked the staff coming around and checking on us to make sure everything was tasty and if we needed anything further. Plenty of seating and lots of parking.

I wish I had ordered the beef ribs, because those looked so good. I just ordered some sides of meat. I got the shaved brisket (not certain it's called that) and two orders of the pulled pork because I thought the sides were going to be small. I was wrong. This place is not stingy with its serving size. I almost filled up on the brisket alone. Not a fan of the sauce that was served. That's just personal preference though. The pork was fine. It wasn't very fatty, so it was kind of difficult to swallow. I'm a believer in fat equals flavor. It was great reheated later in more fat.

I wish I had some pictures for the meal I had in this amazing place. But I was shocked with the food portion and taste. We went to this place with our cousins who really recommend this place for smoked beef and ribs. We ordered the beef ribs and Mac salad with fries. The portion and taste can't be described in words. From another world. I even tried the pork ribs which taste even better. I liked this place and I would recommend it for all meat lovers out there. Give it a try

I only order the Beef Ribs. They are so good. I like to add a habanero hot sauce to it and it’s perfect. For the sides the potato salad and the Fries are good. Due to COVID, they no longer take any phone take out orders. You have to drive there and order on the spot. Due to this reason, I will drive East to a less busy location. There are certain locations where you’ll have to wait much longer as they have higher volume of people coming in.

The ribs and chicken were ok this time. Super NICE employees! The girl bartender was Awesome at making drinks!

Fairly empty place on a Monday afternoon. Informative manager, attentive service, great food and not too long of a wait for the food. Beef ribs are my favorite. Not as tender as past visits. Fountain drinks seemed a bit watered down or low on gas.
