Super friendly staff, Queenie the receptionist came out to greet me at my car. Queenie knew about my appointment at the Spa and was so helpful. I was greeted by everybody, including the Chef, with a huge smile and genuine warmth. What Outstanding Customer Service. The Yalla Yalla Boutique Hotel is amazing, it has an indoor pool which is a central feature. All the rooms have their own themes and look amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served inside the hotel and as mentioned before there is a Spa conveniently situated inside the hotel as well. I had an amazing back massage and feel so relaxed. I will definitely be staying at Yalla Yalla Boutique Hotel when I am in Emalahleni (Witbank) again.

It's a beautiful place great for a sleep over but if you want to host an event it's totally a bad idea and I suggest you look elsewhere. Your guests will be treated like children, they will act like you did not pay to be there. They have endless rules and restrictions that keep on changing by the minute.Guests will be very irritated especially by Jeancy, you will end up thinking that the owner or boss was not informed about the event and what is supposed to happen.

All that glitters is not gold! This place is the epitome of half-hearted, shallow, external appearance with absolutely no focus on what is on the inside. Good for a chic appearance on the runway and to be discarded after the 10 minute show! I only stayed here for one night and thank goodness I didn't spend a minute longer. The rooms are adequately sized with an interesting theme (mine was London), but I wasn't aware the white in England flag colours was meant to be mimicked as a dirty yellowish/brown. The England flag carpet had grey stripes that were possibly once white. The same applied to the bed cover. The pedestals were warped and fraying at the edges, some more than others. There were watermarks and cracks on the walls. The bed's base was dusty and looked like an infestation of creatures could erupt at any moment. To top it all off, in this South African summer, the room uses a totally ineffective ceiling fan. What is boutique about no air conditioning, struggling to breathe and sweating your.......? The TV looked modern but I did not get the opportunity to watch from my uncomfortable bed. From afar the set up looks nice but the detail and finishes were spectacularly poor. Dinner was an absolute disaster. The 3 wing starter was burnt. The butternut was burnt. The spinach (I think it was spinach) tasted acrid. The presentation on the big, shiny plate looked enticing, but the portion was small and tasteless besides the charcoal/cigarette butt taste. Hunger after a hard day at the coal face drove me to gulp down what I could, but I had to go and find other food. Breakfast was a dog's breakfast. The hash browns had enough oil to drown in, the baked beans were as cold as London in winter, the eggs were good for a game of squash and the bacon smiled in its dark grey hue and looked well beyond its best before date (possibly a reason for my long stop at the Total garage on my way back to Joburg). There wasn't even a choice with the type of toast I could have. The fruit salad was quite fresh, crunchy and bright though. The climax was that the breakfast and dinner are served in rooms that are devoid of any natural light and look rather dreary, gloomy and uninspired. The "uncapped" Wi-Fi that they raved about was intermittent. My phone's MTN 4G was far more reliable. The indoor pool, surrounded by all the rooms was looking crystal. If you're agitated and excited by appearance, this is the place for you. What lies underneath is an eye sore. The only reason I awarded 2 stars was to recognise the excellent service and attention from the lady at reception. A true service connoisseur who truly seems to enjoy solving problems for customers. 1 star belongs to her alone! Other than that this is truly a place to just lay your head in discomfort and misery for a maximum of one night.

I stayed here for 6 nights. Do not understand why it has got a four star rating. Breakfast was never on requested time. Always late. Steak was served well done no choice offered. Cold breakfast was not available. Cottage pie was burnt. Had to ask for milk at coffee station.

Beautiful rooms, great service, the host went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We were also treated with a courtesy back and neck massage.

Yalla Yalla Boutique Hotel is an exquisite hotel. My personal experience came when I visited the Witbank for a period of 21 days during August month 2023. I enjoyed my stay together with my 4 colleuges. The staff is professional and friendly which made our stay easy. You can make any arrangements with them and even extended your stay should the need require. Their food and beverage were enjoyable and the place is neat and secured. I would personally recommend it for anyone traveling to Witbank Emalahleni. Regards. Lucky

Great place comfortable rooms but the attention to detail is lost. Jeanroy is absolutely the king of customer service. Pay attention to the finer details.dont spoil the the place.

Beautiful place but not recommended if you want to host an event or any other gathering. Your guests will be treated like children. They will act like you did not pay to be there and they are doing you a favour. Jeancy will irritate your guests and make them feel unwelcome. They have endless rules and restrictions that keep on changing by the minute.

Wow. Such an amazing place and space. My husband and I stayed the weekend over at this esteemed hotel and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated like royalty. Mulalo, the hostess if you will, always looks so professional and her friendly and bubbly personality made our stay all the more worthwhile. We stayed in the Mexico suite; fresh-smelling, clean linen welcomed us and the winter cold was a thing of the past with the heater and electric blanket additions. The room was immaculately clean with not a speck of dust to be seen. We recently got hitched and the hotel owner made sure to see that our matching "Mr & Mrs" gowns were beautifully set up for us on the ottoman. Lovely touch and very thoughtful. The food was delicious, also very refreshing as hotel food often gains a bad rep for being barely edible. Compliments to the chef(s) and dining staff who looked so professional in their gear. Definitely a hotel I would recommend to anyone making their way past or to witbank. Thank you to Retha and team and may your hotel continue to prosper!!
