Not a friendly place to shop at. Staff members would rather laugh at you insted of helping! Very bad experience!

We stood in the queue unattended because the tellers just did not care. They all sat there chatting with each other until eventually one stood up and called us. Even after she did, as she was scanning our items, she continued chatting to the one who was packing our grocery. I remember saying to my husband that these ladies cannot be tired so early in the morning because I remember looking at the time, and it was about 11am. I also recall looking for the manager's counter, but the guy couldn't care less either because he was busy on his phone.

The best supermarket at Ermelo.The environment is conducive for shopping.There are shops for foo and clothing very close to checkers.Points cards are available for those in their need unless if they be finished.The market,bakery,etc very fresh.Cleanliness is their order

It is always a stop on the way to visit my parents. Always clean and neat when i walk in the shop. Everything looks fresh in the food isle. Never disappointed. Keep up the good work

The products that I needed not all in stock Ricoffy refill packs, nestle caramel treat. Mayonaize squeeze bootle 500ml, The packers were packing the shelves do not have any customer courtesy. They do not make way for customers

Never have I ever bought a fresh SOFT bread roll from this place! It's ALWAYS hard and overbaked. It crumbles apart from rock hard overbaked kakness. FIRE THE BAKER AND THE MANAGERS. Service just as poor‼️

Decent place to do grocery shopping. Friendly service. Plenty parking available.

It is a good environment and the people are amazing more especially their workers at Checkers.

Checkers is good besides that I accidentally left my Double Cream Lemon Cheesecake Flavoured Yoghurt on the till after paying for it.

Easy to drive with lots of parking spaces and shops are easily accessible.

Wow, bought pies, prego roll and a the Bacuet .. Only the pies weren't old and stale..(smells) Well within the sell by date fyi Disgusting!

Quite simple and friendly place situated at Oak Centre. Staff usually fast, and products available. Recommend it to anyone coming into ermelo. Steep hill on your way out will be the test of time.🤪

Their food is stale.. They do not reduce the price... Their dessert is stale and they do not change or check expiry date... Even the pap... If you want to buy something, buy packaged food from known brands not their cooked, fried or baked foods... I bought their muffin last week it was hard, yet I paid full price for it

Always a pleasure shopping at this Checkers, clean, neat and tidy (organized and categorized) no funny smells inside the store, great lighting and enough space to move around comfortably in the isles. Friendly staff. Well done Checkers Ermelo

Rating is purely based on staff...they really act as if us customers are bothering them..especially managers when they are summon to just do a simple void ...you don't even get a simple hello...but the store itself too is over crowded and the constant bumping into other people and having to move out the way really is annoying...living here for some time and this has always been the case...they never upped their game 🤷‍♀️

Everything you need are at reached. Staff also available and approachable, attitude good and ever Smalling. Ya they're helpful 😜

The store had such a strong stench upon entering...the staff are not very friendly either...what Checkers Ermelo needs is a revamp,it's been the same since its first opening...

Ermelò checkers is the place to be but on the food place cooked food salads,rice the chef maybe he is good but the service from those talking ladies without helping its a disaster that's the only checkers I know without good service I wish they can close that food place coz it's bad the food and the service and they re-sell food from yesterday hay I give up

Enough space in alleys, just the check out points is a nightmare, then space becomes a problem. The parking outside is a nightmare in itself, people are not buying anything in the stores, they just drive around and around with their music loud so everbody gets irritated.

Good selection of products but lack a selection of health products. Cheese selection good, but declining over time due to lack of consumer interest. Staff not really up to speed though with product knowledge and helofulness and friendliness specially at tills uninpressive...some even quite curt. Good selection of fresh produce though.

This place is shocking. It always smells like rotten meat and the tills are never maned when bisy there is 1 or 2 tills open. The fridges are never stocked. And if you need to draw money they say they dont have. The planrs are always dying in the shop it is plain terrible

Received terrible service. Harassment from the staffon my way in (I had no luggage, calls me aside saying "I thought you had plastics, can I have your number") . Having to pack my own groceries even though staff was available. Terribly unprofessional.

Terrible TERRIBLE SERVICE. I did my shopping there last week Tuesday. I queued a long line just when I was about to pay thay told me to go to the the following teller. I did groceries over R2000 and I didn't get the toys for the kids. Service is so slow. Only 3 tellers was open on that day. You service is a mess.

If you want to get your blood pressure high go to Checkers. There is never trolleys, you have to give way for the store personal or they walk you out of the way. Asked a manager where can I get a trolley, she ignored me and just walked on. There is never enough tills open and the cashiers is never friendly, if there is someone to pack your bags it's a bonus. Every time I think maybe it was a bad day let's try checkers again and every time I walk out wondering why I did it to myself to go back. Just get the basics right, it's really a disappointment of a store because of bad people skills.

A huge step up and improvement!!! Friendly staff, clean, variety of products, fully stocked etc etc. My store if choice. Maybe pay points can be improved, but overall 100%!!!!
