This vodka museum was a delightful experience for me and my Hungarian tourists from Romania. It is a very cosy place ,a very small one where you can taste different kinds of Polish vodka(also Russian and Finnish too)and finding about a little vodka history. My only sorrow was that there was no guided visit ,and I could not buy a big bottle of vodka, because it was too heavy to carry on airplane. I hope that the owners of vodka museum and Elixir restaurant will think about tourists too and will put some of their own made vodka in smaller bottles too. I loved 2 of Elixir's special vodka and would of bring home if it were a smaller bottles. If you visit this museum you can get a discount in Elixir's restaurant if you arrive before 16. Hope to come back here soon, even if I am not a special vodka fan

Small, interesting walk around and great place to get souvenirs for any lover of alcohol. I'd skip the audio and just take the pamphlet - it'll let you skim through to find the interesting bits. If you're planning on drinking vodka in Poland, it's a great intro. Buy the tasting (necessary, and the woman is knowledgeable and friendly) and try the horseradish one - it's unique and surprisingly delicious.

Lovely little museum built by someone who clearly had a passion for the history behind Vodka. The tour was quite informative and detailed with the highlight definitely being the tasting. The staff were lovely and helpful. Only thing I would change is the audioguide by adding more fun facts in favour of some of the company details

A lot of cool relics and history about vodka. They give you a headset that explains everything in great detail and you can go at your own pace. The woman working there was really friendly and knowledgeable (and spoke great English). Would recommend the vodka tasting, she picked some cool varieties for us.

So fun and really well laid out tour. Small things that would be an easy fix to improve - the tasting room was pretty cramped and there were some long waiting times / pauses during the tour (while they set up the tasting), which they left you to wander and look at the different old vodkas - that was cool but the tour group ended up standing around and waiting after a certain point when the wait became quite long - so maybe a few less people on each group and have someone else set the tasting up, instead of the tour guide. I would still 100% recommend attending this, hence 5 stars - it was excellent

The history of vodka was told via headphones and did drag on a bit. Quite interesting but too much information to fully absorb. Enjoyed the vodka tasting session at the end, although when we'd finished the samples, found out 2 of them didn't contain vodka.... advocaat and a plum liqueur !

(Translated by Google) For a museum, this space is very limited. Probably the hobby of the owner of a nearby restaurant who wants to share his passion with "little ones". And I thank you for sharing some of the percentages :). It is not boring and lengthy. Tasting for a fee, and meal discount. Great and unique experience. Our guide said we were the biggest group if the day, abd she seemed happy about it. We started with a very well done movie. Then we continue through the stations across the building by taking the stairs. I learned a lot about how vodka is made and how polish vodka differs from the rest. I do have to mention that the guide was rushing badly to comply to her time/script management... She kept on watching the time, and as amazing her English was, she was talking SO FAST she lost us at times. It would ve better if maybe the tour could be the same amount of time but less words, or more time (1.5 hrs maybe).. So people can actually interact in the stations. The vodka pairing was fun and well explained by the bar tender. I liked the decor, very modern and chic.

Unfortunately not the best experience. The tour through the museum goes very fast. We followed the English tour. Our guide was a friendly young lady but her accent was too heavy to understand. The museum in itself is rather poor. I have the impression that everything is a setup to make you buy vodka afterwards. I don't recommend this museum.

The museum is very good. There are many interesting exhibits around vodka, old bottles, and things from different eras. However, the main highlights are the exceptional staff. The tastings are also quite delicious and we had the premium tastings which were quite delicious. Our favorites were the caramel chopin, the lemon vodka, and my wife liked the raspberry vodka.

Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in the history of Polish vodka. Nice tasting with hints of flavors that you wouldn't have noticed before. Very friendly tour and comprehensive information about the area, raw materials and production of the vodka.

We ended up here by mistake (there's a similarly named vodka museum), but enjoyed the exhibition of vodka/spirit bottles, labels, marketing materials, etc. The English audio guide was helpful, though it went into specifics a bit too often for us (we want the story, not the dates). We were a little disappointed that there wasn't much on the production process itself, but it's our fault we went to the wrong museum! Kasper did a great job walking us through the tasting afterwards though, that was certainly the highlight! :)

(Translated by Google) very interesting and highly interactive history of alcohol in Poland, some exhibits make a really big impression (read wooden floor), and the guide knows a lot about it, regret only the current situation and the collapse of the industry in Poland, which perfectly tells the museum, tasting is also interesting - a noticeable difference in vodka is clear - I recommend it, but after coronavirus, because now you can not touch anything, which makes the trip lose a lot! Firstly I'll start with the worst points and move onto the good. It's very small, only 2 rooms really and information provided only with a menu effectively detailing all exhibits. Not very interactive just a collection of vodka history, bottles and other artifacts. What made it worthwhile was learning some stuff about vodka and its history and then having a selection of 3 shots for each guest in the museum so if there's 2 of you you can try 6 which worked very well. A good selection of all varieties. Also the lady that hosted our tasting session was super helpful. Basically explained the city. Ultimately it's cheap to visit and you get 3 shots out of a choice of 12 or so vodkas. So I'd recommend it!

  • 5/5 Robert R. 9 months ago on Google
What a neat little museum! The tour is fairly quick (~45 mins.), but quite informative about the history of vodka. Kaspar was enormously helpful & set us up very well with the tasting samples. I highly recommend the premium tasting, which allows an opportunity to try a few high-end products, some of which you can buy in the shop.

  • 5/5 Aidan C. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful, fun attraction right in hip Kosener square in cool Praga. Bar has hundreds (thousands?) of delicious, fresh, innovative and unique vodkas you won't get anywhere else, flovoured with everything from vegetables, local and exotic fruits, herbs, spices. There's too many to try them all, but barmen are full of knowledge and generosity, and will make sure you sip plenty suited to your taste. Beautiful views and photos from bar balcony. Great fun and value, recommended.

There is nothing really exciting about this place. Pretty small, there is exhibition of old bottles and labels with some history. Mostly you don't really know what you're looking at -you get a printed guide with a lot of text but it's poorly organized and you have to search which description matches which item. Definitely not worth the price

You cannot fault this place for its staff. They are friendly, helpful and speak English. If you don't fancy the full experience tour they provide a written guide without and fuss or bother - fantastic service! The museum also has a video in Polish or if you wait also in English about the history of Vodka, which was very interesting. The museum also includes some other spirits and even unopened bottles from a long time ago. There is a nice shop with a good range of spirits (even in very affordable small bottles). I did not try the tasting room but it looked well stocked. Great for an hour or so. Plus discounts on your ticket for two local restaurants. Since you are in Poland, you really should visit!

Price is expensive in compared to small museum. You are not allowed to make videos and spend extra time more after the tour is over. There are lots of information about vodka on screen and monitor but you cannot view all because it’s rush like just about an hour tour. English speaking host was good but the host from bar who made taste for vodka was lively and interactive. One time go is okie for vodka lover and for those who don’t drink should not expect much.
