This museum actually have the guts to lie to me in my face, and kicked me out when I arrived at 1630 despite the sign above the ticket office and the website says "last entry at 1630", which I pointed at, don't advertise fake information if you are too lazy to bother welcoming visitors at 1630

I loved the climate of this museum, you could really get to experience the feeling of those inmates trapped in this place, the torture, the martyrdom. Plus lots of resources and information. The only thing I didn't like is that you can't record video

Very interesting museum. Though quite small, it is PACKED with information. At the start you watch a short film on what happened at this place during ww2, and then they have a couple of rooms displaying that information in more detail. The museum should take about 30-40min to complete. Overall, an amazing place.

It was all right. Reading other people's reviews I was expecting something more shocking and disturbing, so I was a little dissapointed when everything was a little watered down. Some things were unfortunately only in polish, not english. Maybe that's what made my experience not that intense. I think most WW2 Nazi museums don't really show enough of the real horror that was happening there. Maybe it's for the better, but maybe not. I have a feeling, that I will soon forget about this place and it's story.

Very sad place to visit with a shocking history. Worth to see it to get a glimpse of the atrocities of the Gestapo. Hard to find though.

Recommended visit, for free on Thursdays. I found it fascinating. Dark historical place. If you are an empath beware since this is an original site of torture and killing.

Small and disturbing museum, because of all the horror happening there during ww2.

A small but powerful museum. All the cells have been left as they were so you get a real sense of the history when you walk around. Some of the information available is naturally quite disturbing so not one to take kids to. If you're interested in history I would strongly recommend it. It takes about 30min to go round.

Interesting museum, it was used for interrogation and as a prison by Gestapo. Every Thursday is free entry, it was not crowded. Everything is explained well in English. Entrance was a bit challenge to find, entry is from the street "aleja Jana Chrystiana Szucha".

A sobering but essential visit for anyone interested in WW2 history. It’s a small museum but beautifully presented, with friendly, helpful and passionate staff.

A small but impressive museum to the horrors of the second world war and the role of the Gestapo and their methods. Restored to the way it was during the war you can understand the terror of anyone unfortunate enough to be imprisoned and tortured here. Thursday is free entry. Last entry is 30 mins before closing at 5pm. You will need 30 mins to one hour here.

The architecture is amazing. Each of the rooms are ornately decorated and many old masterpieces that survived the war are on display... Well worth the visit
