An interesting museum with documents, propaganda posters, manifestos, badges and medals. Here we will learn something about the Greater Poland Uprising, the Silesian Uprisings, Piłsudski, Dmowski, Haller's army and Poland's marriage to the sea. There is also an exhibition about the Eastern Borderlands, presenting everyday life in Lviv and Vilnius. In addition, the history of the flag and the Polish emblem. At the bottom, an exhibition of archaeological research in Warsaw.

The main exhibition is located on the second floor, and it's not large, taking about an hour to go through. The exhibition focuses on the process of Poland's independence after World War I, introducing significant leaders of that time. You can see how Poland worked to restore its nation on the map of Europe after over a century of partition. On the first floor, there are additional small exhibitions related to General Tadeusz Kościuszko's paintings and photos of Warsaw's reconstruction after World War II, some of which are only in Polish.

The museum does not introduce any historical background, so if you bring friends from abroad, it is better to first explain how Poland lost its independence and what the November and January Uprisings were. The exhibition does not properly introduce who Roman Dmowski or Józef Piłsudski were - they simply appear at the exhibition and, according to the Museum's assumption, everyone should know who they were, although not every visitor knows the history of Poland. There is quite a lot about political activity at that time, although I had the (subjective) impression that it was all presented quite chaotically. The topic of the road to independence occupies two rooms, the remaining exhibitions are a collection of miscellaneous items without much connection. Few exhibits, little interactive. There were also very few visitors during my visit. A big plus for nice service.

(Translated by Google) Very interesting collections. Here you can learn a bit about the history of Polish uprisings, for example in Greater Poland or Silesia, about the beginnings of the army, the history of the flag or about conquering borders. A nice addition are photos and drawings from the renovation of the palace in which the museum is located, as well as finds that were unearthed during the construction of the metro in Warsaw. (Original) Bardzo ciekawe zbiory.

(Translated by Google) A place very much related to the history of Poland, now the museum of independence, the building after the renovation has gained a beautiful appearance inside and out. A very interesting exhibition that changes several times a month. The last uprising of Wielkopolska, expressed in the oil triptych, I think it is great and worth seeing, I wish you a pleasant sightseeing. (Translated by Google) This museum introduces how Poland was divided by the three after the glory of ancient times, how to seize the opportunity of the German war of Russia and the collapse of the three empires of Austria-Hungary to regain independence. It is very subtle that the focus here is how the Second Republic of Poland under the leadership of Piłsudski confronted Russia and Russia ... In addition, the evolution of various national symbols of Poland is also introduced here, such as why the national emblem of Poland is a white The eagle is not the White Lion, and why the Polish military cap would be that awkward square.

(Translated by Google) A place with its unique atmosphere is located in the middle of Warsaw. After renovation, it is worth seeing the beautiful interior of the museum. The company furmanek (renovation contractor) has made a lot of effort to make everything fit to the last button. My attention was particularly drawn by the lecture room located in the basement of the manor house and the bathroom next to it with a large beautiful mirror from what I learned and assembled by Jumi - Mirosław Padel specializing in making glass crystal mirrors for the kitchen, wall panels with graphics and lacquered cabin showerheads and flat glass buildings.
