Triumph of form over content. Fairly high price for just few rooms with sort of amusing illusion-ish type of entertainment. Unless you spend good few minutes studying each and every little exhibit, you will be done with the tour under 30 minutes. It isn’t all wrong and some of the attractions are quite cool, but I simply expected.. more. Centrum Nauki Kopernik isn’t far and it offers way more for slightly more..

We enjoyed a visit here. Not much for the kids to do nearby. 87 PLN for 2 kids, 1 adult. Maybe spent max 2 hours in here but was worth the trip.

Quirky museum but fun and well worth a look. Not the biggest place in the world but enough to while away an hour and a lot of interesting things to see and try out.......optical illusions, tricks of the mind and lightning displays, etc etc.....

Fantastic fun. Tricky to find the place as it is located through an arch and up some stairs in the old market square. Lots of illusions - better to go with others - some to pose whilst others take photos. Something different to enjoy in Warsaw.

Well you can see the whole place in about 20 min. The majority of illusions are printouts of available on the Internet images. Some are physical things, like the room of unequal sizes and some mirror effects. You can take pictures there are arrows pointing out best spots to take them from, but still some are not impressive. By far the best attraction is the spinning tunnel that makes you feel dizzy and out of balance only because you looking at it. It would need to be double the size to be worth recommending though. Thankfully it is right in the center of old city and you can eat a good dinner in this area right after so it can still be a nice afternoon.

The only problem is that it’s a bit small than expected. The rooms are fun and beautiful 😍

I can't understand why someone would put this on a "must see" list. I mean it is completely fine if you are traveling with your little kids and want to show them the most simple of illusions. If you are over the proud age of 12 this is a complete waste of money and even the 5 minutes you need to go through it. In Austria they wouldn't even dare to put up something like this. Nonetheless charging almost 10 Euros (40 Złoty) for this. Half of the "Illusions" in the first room don't even work properly. Tldr good for families with kids. Everyone above the age of 12 should make better use of their money and time

Not worth the price. I expected more but it was just a few rooms and most of it was just plaques with a wall of text with history of illusion that you can just read on the Internet. Especially not recommending for solo visit if you want photos with perspective illussions (head on a plate, a chair, a fortepiano, a skewed room) as except for the mind tricking tunnel and a mirror room for a head these were probably the most interesting. I've been there for like 20-30 minutes max maybe and there was nothing else to do unless I wanted to read all the text... If you want to go to an illussion museum, you better go to Cosmos, they have most of the more interesting illussions from here but higher quality.

Some prints from old internet. Too poor exposition for that price. Excellent location but... You should work with your exhibition to be good. Not for criticize just for improving

Great experience all around! Very friendly staff. They even helped us take pictures in the big/small illusion rooms. Fascinating experience!

Great place to visit as a break from Warsaw old city. The illusions are somehow basic but really fun. Museum itself has little atmosphere problem, but you will still have a great time!

Nice place to visit in the old town. Not a big one but has got nice optical illussions that can be fun for both adults and children.

This place was very enjoyable but short. My 12 yo and 9 yo loved it. Give yourself 30-60mins. The entrance to the museum is set back in another entrance so we passed it a few times

Entrance to this museum is paid, 30 zl for students and 40 zl for adults. It is not necessary to devote this time here. it is small and has limited content. There were ordinary things.

Dry nice museum! If you visited such museum at another place- almost the same exposition. But anyhow the experience is very good and the choice of toys at the shop are nice!

We have been there Friday afternoon around 4pm. We had kids 5 years old and 2 year old and they absolutely loved it. If you are around don't miss it is worth to see. Also the manager was very helpful.

Lovely place, not so big, would take around 1 hour to see everything. The entry is not very visible, I suggest looking for building number 21.

I expected this place to be a little bit bigger and have more interactive features, but it was still interesting to visit.

  • 3/5 Stefan S. 11 months ago on Google
Not greater than any other similar place I've been to. Interesting as you would expect by an illusion museum. The kids loved it!

  • 4/5 Tykhin K. 9 months ago on Google • 4 reviews
Although it was a small museum the illusions were very cool, it started with the basic it ones and slowly got even wierder and the final cherry on top was perfect. Also the first time we went there was a whole class of kids that ruined it so we went to ask if we can come back later and they said yes and gave us a ticket so we can come back later which is really nice

Lots of really cool illusions. The moving tunnel the best one.

It’s smaller than expected but very fun when coming with others and some cool interesting things, in the middle of the old town.

  • 5/5 Michael G. 7 months ago on Google
Super fun, engaging and mind expanding! Brilliant and immersive optical illusions that made me laugh, think and lose my balance. Children and adults enjoyed themselves alike.

Great place, really crazy to be honest how our minds and eyes cheat on us. It's absolutely a different experience to have fun outta the common. Thanks to Marta, she was the best guide ever 🤙🏻

The most unexpectedly beautiful museum, where you can just have a great time with friends and parents. There are really good places for reflection and curiosity. This place fascinated me, I advise everyone to visit it

Less attractions than one would expect. Very poor AC, hence pretty sweaty inside. Some attractions really intriguing, some not at all. It's a place where you would typically take someone and take photos of each other.

An interesting museum, good size, not too big. Spent about 30 minutter there, 2 adults, a kid and a teenager. Everyone enjoyed it. The girl behind the desk spoke like a robot, too fast and seemed pretty uninterested in the job, but besides that we can recommend a visit.

  • 4/5 Pasz P. 2 years ago on Google
We had fun! Somehow they managed to squeeze bit of magic in small spaces. Staff helpful and speaking English. Took us about 30 maybe 45 min the whole visit.Still worth it. Somehow feel like its more for adults or teens than for kids.

Great place to visit and have nice time for all people. It worth to see up close. 😍😎

  • 3/5 George K. 1 year ago on Google
The place is decent but there is not much to see. The price is OK and even though some of illusions are really great, essentially variety is low thus leaving with the feeling of unsatisfaction. You remember those two-three illusions and forget the rest of them... which is around 95%.

  • 3/5 Ciaran K. 2 years ago on Google
Fun 30 mins but it is far pricier than similar type attractions elsewhere. Definitely not value for money but it will excite the kids for a bit.

If you like brain teasers and illusions this is the place for you. It's also great if you just like to see funny things 🙂 All the great illusions you know and love are here and a bunch I hadn't seen before. All in all a great museum with lots of photo ops and fun for all ages. Staff is really nice and helpful, if you have trouble seeing one of the illusions they are happy to help explain how to see it. The price is a bit high but it is worth it.

Nice funny place in middle of city. Little to expensive for this small business.

  • 3/5 Eddie N. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice but very small. It’s not a museum rather than a nice, 20 minutes long exhibition. Great for taking photos, nothing more. Does not worth the price.

This museum is super fun, really recommend to anyone looking to kill some times in Warsaw, it’s also right in the center of the city. So all the tourists attractions are really close

Lovely, good sized museum! It would've been great to learn more about historical background of illusionist art! 10 and 12 yr old kids loved the museum too!

I already visited pretty similar muzeum in Vilnius few years ago, and I have good memories after it. All in all, place are fine to cut a hour in rainy day in the old city. For the same price much more reasonable to visit the Centrum nauki Kopernik, half of the optic expositions nicely played there and more touchable as in discussed one.
