The paintings are interesting but not by masters as claimed, generally by workshop or circle of. Might be a couple masterpieces or more. I would like to be wrong, but there is not much to see here. I will go back if it ever opens. They claim to be renovating. I hope at same time conservators are studying the authenticity of the paintings. If there are so few of true value should just incorporate into National Museum collections.

Undoubtedly a place worth visiting. Historic building, interiors and beautiful paintings. But compared to European museums, everything seems a bit clumsy... the atmosphere of a museum from the times of the Polish People's Republic.

A certain Jacek Mirkiewicz who posted the opinion here is probably some kind of complicated pseudo-patriot. Buy yourself some better pictures, dude, and then make such stupid opinions! This Polish martyrdom makes me want to puke!!!!!! who in the world cares?????? !!!!!!!!

Lots of paintings, very beautiful. But it's a tourist trap. None of these paintings belonged to John Paul II. This was confirmed to me during my visit in spring 2019. It's just the name of the place, period. There are no great paintings by great masters there, but there are still some beautiful ones.

good collection of paintings. though some people have doubt about the genuinity, but it has some works of master painters like vincent van gogh, picasso, renoir, cezanne, paul klee, salvador dali etc. very bad curating. ignorant staff.
