A great place for a walk and learning about the history of the beginnings of the Polish oil industry. Very nice service at the checkout point (24/02/2024). The museum is a place worth recommending👍 it is worth taking headphones if you use the recommended application (visitors do not disturb each other). I recommend it to young and old, the exhibits are very well described.

Lots of wells and equipment. Some wells are even functional but didn't see any crude oil flowing. A decent walk. Would have wanted something warm salty to eat after the hike, but there wasn't anything like that in the cafeteria. Though the 🍦 was delicious.

The Museum of Oil and Gas Industry in Bóbrka is a great place to learn about the history of oil and gas exploration and production in Poland. The museum is located in the former oil refinery in Bóbrka, which was the first oil refinery in Poland. The museum has a variety of exhibits, including: A replica of the first oil well in Poland, which was drilled in 1854. A collection of oil drilling equipment. A model of an oil refinery. A display of oil products. A film about the history of the oil and gas industry in Poland. The entry price is fair and you can use app true the whole complex super usefull. I visited the Museum of Oil and Gas Industry in Bóbrka a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot about the history of oil and gas exploration and production in Poland. The exhibits were well-curated and informative. The museum staff was also very friendly and helpful. Here are some of the pros and cons of the museum: Pros: Well-curated exhibits Informative staff Affordable admission price Family-friendly Cons: Some exhibits are in Polish only Overall, I would give the Museum of Oil and Gas Industry in Bóbrka a 5 out of 5 stars. It is a great place to learn about the history of oil and gas exploration and production in Poland.

A museum showing Polish refinery and gas traditions. The object presents the most important figures related to oil and gas extraction in the Podkarpacie region, such as Ignacy Łukasiewicz, Tytus Trzecieski and Karol Klobass. In the museum we can see both models of mining machines and well-preserved excavators. All this surrounded by beautiful forest nature.

The museum is located in a beautiful space and offers lots of interesting objects. There is some information in English but not everything. I think it would be great to have more social context: sometimes you do not understand why some objects are so important. So, if you are interested in the history of technology and know something about gas and oil industry, you will like it. Otherwise the exposition might be a bit boring. But the park is beautiful and there is a nice cafe. So, it is a good place to spend some time with kids.

The best organized museum I have ever seen. You install an application on your phone that guides you step by step. Sensors detect the entrance to the room and electronic presentations begin automatically, along with cool texts with a sense of humor. I recommend

Unbeknownst to many, Poland is, in fact, the cradle of oil industry. The museum is a great tribute to early work of Ignacy Łukasiewicz and depicts rich history of how drilling technology evolved, including many solutions from overseas. Movies and holograms are very well made and open oil wells allow one to smell oil or even dip a finger when there's a bucket on the surface. Highly recommend!
