I
come
from
Zabrze
and
have
lived
here
most
of
my
life.
I
wanted
to
show
my
roots
to
my
girlfriend
and
decided
to
pay
a
visit
to
this
internationally
know
heritage
site.
Even
in
the
description
of
the
tour
at
the
start,
the
guide
highlighted
that
Guido
is
one
of
the
most
renowned
industrial,
touristic
sites
in
Europe.
Having
that
in
mind,
one
member
of
staff
could
only
speak
English
and
there
was
no
audioguide
available
or
even
an
English,
written
guide.
The
staff
had
to
hand
out
a4
printed
out
pages.
It
was
not
a
problem
for
us,
as
I
kept
translating
what
is
being
said,
but
there
was
a
party
from
Britain
who
did
not
have
this
privilege
and
had
to
read
from
these
pieces
of
paper
in
half
darkness.
That
needs
to
be
addressed
as
soon
as
possible.
Audio
guides
are
a
must
for
a
site
like
this.
Having
said
that,
the
tour
was
really
well
organised,
interesting
and
very
well
planned.
Long
enough,
very
informative
and
our
guide
was
just
brilliant.
His
passion
and
noticeable
experience
made
it
extremely
engaging.
He
needs
a
praise
and
a
raise!
Seeing
the
machines
used
in
mines
from
close
up,
and
working,
makes
it
so
much
more
real
too.
I
recommend
this
place
to
everyone,
but
if
you
do
not
speak
Polish,
please
check
if
measures
have
been
taken
to
provide
for
your
needs,
or
prepare
to
be
slightly
disappointed!
:)
Come
on
Guido,
you
can
improve
this.
