Great place, great experience and guide that was able to answer for all questions. Highly recommended. Best way to get a tickets online only to avoid disappointments. Not for idiots they think they may sightseeing mine without guide.

Highly recommend to go for a tour! English or Polish speaking guides, very informative 2 hours visit under the ground. Have you ever been in a bar in 320m underground? :)

That was a great experience. The guide was working down there in the past and know every detail. It took arrond 4h. Some time at 170m and more at 350m level. Driving also with the underground hanging train. At the end you can stay at 350m and sit in a bistro. Just go back up by taking the elevator going every 30 minutes.

It was a really interesting tour, only I wished it had some english subtitles or something 😂 they did get me a paper sheet in english with all the info they covered in the tour. Also the bar inside the mine was an awesome surprise 👌

Great place, they actually show you how the machinery operates and you can get a feeling how working in a mine really is like. Definitely one of the more interesting tours I’ve been on in my life! If you’re in the area pop in for sure.

(Translated by Google) Metro 2033 ... impresses ... two-day business conference 320 meters underground (overnight on the surface). It was relatively cool (outside was -10), there is no cell range, there is wifi. The climate is great. Contrary to the fear that the participants will not be afraid - they were not afraid.

Great experience, very authentic. We took the 2 hour your that takes you down to level 355 in the mine. Most of the machinery is still in a working state and was demonstrated to us by our guide. Overall great place to visit when your in the area but be sure to book your tickets in advance.

Make sure you check their schedule online ahead of time. They don’t have English tours very often. We took the Polish one and were lucky that our guide spoke English quite well and took the time to explain things to us as well. We also received a script from the reception. The guide was a little long overall, but fun nonetheless.

It would be nice if they would provided an electronic copy of the transcript to the email address of customers that the guides say to visitors only in Polish. We were required to arrive 15 minutes early, which we were lucky to do as there was a car accident on the way. So we arrived at 3:15pm ready for a 3:30pm session. Then there was nothing important to do between 3:15pm and 3:30pm apart from go to the toilet and check we had some water. During that time of they had offered an electronic copy of the transcript I could have translated it into English online since we still had internet connection above ground. Then during the tour at each stop I could have just read the relevant section in English from my mobile phone instead of standing around understanding nothing. I only speak English and barely any Polish, and my partner only speaks and understands intermediate Polish. I didn't understand anything they said on the 2 hour tour apart from a couple of words and my partner also struggled to understand, so it was actually incredibly boring and after the first 30 minutes I wished there was a way to end the tour early as there were more things I could have been doing. On the tour we did spurts of repeatedly walking and then the guide would stop and talk in Polish for a long time, and we were in a group of about 11 people so often the only chance to take a photo where others weren't blocking the photo was when people started walking again but then you can't take too long to take the photo since you have to stay close to the group. There was a short ride on the hanging train at the end of the tour and it ended at an underground pub. Our other family members went on a different longer tour that started after ours so we bought some beer and waited for them there since the beginner tour ends at the pub

A unique great experience, everyone must go on that tour to appreciate human accomplishments and demonstrate hard work for these Vanilla New generations. Great Cafeteria too but only Deserts, Beers and Coffees, no Savoury food.

Wonderful experience! Very interesting trip down the former coalmine at -320 meters. The guide describes extensively various machinery and techniques used to extract coal and tells about the dangers of mining. The tour lasts about 2 hours, it is necessary to book in advance (online is very convenient).

I come from Zabrze and have lived here most of my life. I wanted to show my roots to my girlfriend and decided to pay a visit to this internationally know heritage site. Even in the description of the tour at the start, the guide highlighted that Guido is one of the most renowned industrial, touristic sites in Europe. Having that in mind, one member of staff could only speak English and there was no audioguide available or even an English, written guide. The staff had to hand out a4 printed out pages. It was not a problem for us, as I kept translating what is being said, but there was a party from Britain who did not have this privilege and had to read from these pieces of paper in half darkness. That needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Audio guides are a must for a site like this. Having said that, the tour was really well organised, interesting and very well planned. Long enough, very informative and our guide was just brilliant. His passion and noticeable experience made it extremely engaging. He needs a praise and a raise! Seeing the machines used in mines from close up, and working, makes it so much more real too. I recommend this place to everyone, but if you do not speak Polish, please check if measures have been taken to provide for your needs, or prepare to be slightly disappointed! :) Come on Guido, you can improve this.

It was awesome to experience this tour. You get all the gear you need and have multiple challenges like the miners do. There is teamwork involved and it takes about 4 hours. Also learned a lot how mining works and the work there. Would recommend it to everyone I know!!

Good place to visit, lost of respect to people who had to work down there, interesting and inspiring although current restrictions about face covering clearly doesn't apply to them who's willing to pay more for entry all the others are "gently" reminded to have Mask on at all times even children under age of 8.

There is a bar 320 meters under the ground. You can try polish beer or you can drink a coffee or another drink. One of the touristic attractions in Zabrze. *I'm not sure if the tour guides speak English, at least the one that guided us didn't.

It was fantastic time I've spent there. It open your eyes on how difficult job miners got. You need to book visit in advance. You will see machinery that been use to mine and not sure if it's standard but been showed how they work too. After visit you can sit in restaurant placed in mine

A great place to experience the life of coalminer. It really gives back the atmosphere from 100 year ago. The restaurant and pub in the mine is a nice way to finish the tour.
